Socializing Private Sector Profits: Limbaugh Breaks Down Obama’s Econ Philosophy

After taking last Friday off, Rush Limbaugh returned to the EIB network on Monday to discuss everything from the horrific “Dark Knight Rises” massacre to President Obama’s infamous “You Didn’t Build That” speech.

“I want to go back to Obama and ‘You Didn’t Do That,’” said Limbaugh. “This is extremely important what Obama is setting up here, what he’s saying, attempting to socialize private sector profits, because it makes his claim on those profits, and, in fact, wages stronger.”

“Because what Obama is in effect saying (and this is why there was so much justified outrage about it), he’s saying: ‘You didn’t earn it. You don’t have any claim on anything you have … Others made it possible for you and you either cheated them, or you didn’t pay them, or you stole from them, or what have you and he’s the agent who’s going to come in and equalize all this and make it fair,’” Limbaugh added.

Of course, as the conservative radio host notes, the irony of the president’s philosophy is that it actually applies to government, not business. Government is nothing and has nothing without the individual accomplishments, achievements, and hard work of the people.

“The government does nothing on its own,” Limbaugh said, “it can’t. [Government] has no money, everything the government does comes from us. Now they can print it, and they can borrow it … [but] they do not produce it.”

But this seems awfully basic, doesn’t it? Surely, the president must see this. What’s really going on here?

“John Locke, the founders of this country, believed that private property was the bedrock of our liberty,” Limbaugh explained. “Private property … is as important as the right to free speech.”

“Obama is trying to erase that,” he added. “Obama is trying to wipe that off the books.”

    I don’t think this aplies here but I have noticed something that is not right. Noticed Obama give big bucks to solar company, They go out of business. Money gone? Then these same people show up at fancy fund raiser for Obama. Is this money laundering? Take from tax payers. Go bankrupt. Money dissappears. Campaign donation later. Just wierd. Maybe someone should investigate. Yah, right.

      When Obama came to power, DJIA was 8000, now 13000: historic creation of wealth for Americans who own stocks, funds, 401k, annuities, pensions, over 60%.

      Under gw bush DJIA went from 11000 to 8000, huge depletion of wealth: pubs can’t govern. You lost your money under bush.

      If you care about your children and your money, you will vote DEMOCRAT in Nov.

    The part of this argument that upsets me is that no one seems to realize that the private sector is the one that FUNDS THE GOVERNMENT, the government wouldn’t be anything withoout those that work hard and contribute to the “machine in DC”. The tax system is such that, the more you make , the more you pay, and therefore those that work the hardest and make the most money, contribute more to the government to build those roads and hire those teachers, ad infinitum. The argument is backwards, especially when almost 50% pay no federal taxes AND STILL GET THE BENEFITS, of you didn’t build that. In fact, it is so backwards, that those that don’t pay into the system get the MOST BENEFITS, why aren’t we arguing this fact?

      The “Government Stupid” has made everyone fear the IRS and given them even more power now to come after “WE THE PEOPLE” Nothing will change until we have TERM LIMITS NOW !!! and because of the fear of the IRS and the fact that 95% do not pay Income Taxes. This 95% does not understand that everthing they buy is TAXED to death by the “Government Stupid” through regulations and FINES that the product producers add to the price on the consumer !! There is no way there will ever be a TAX REVOLT !!!! because too many people have a FEAR of becoming a POLITICAL PRISONER !! You do not have to be LOCKED up. The Majority of people in this country I bet have had to pay and IRS fine or penalty. Get behind one time on your taxes, get audited and have to set up a payment plan with the IRS. You have just become a SLAVE to the “Government Stupid”

    This whole “you didn’t build that” goes hand in hand with Agenda 21. It is a way to strip property, also; liberty and the persuit of happiness. It’s a one world government agenda item, no less.

    The erasure of private property is the erasure of you. One‘s body is one’s first and primary piece of private property. The stuff one owns outside your body is there because you use it to maintain you life and you obtained it justly.

    When the government owns the property, then they people have no control over maintaining their lives. Every action a person takes is a criminal action unless he has permission to use the government’s property. And the government‘s property is not the people’s property, even though that is what they claim. It is the property of the few men, the ruling class, who direct the use and disposal of all the property including their primary property, the people themselves. Obama is the greatest advocate of slavery of all people including the *****, in a long, long time. For this reason, no one at this point in history is more evil, although there are many who are his equal, than Barack Obama. It is alarming beyond belief.

      That is so foreign to me but you are correct. I think the cat is out of the bag here.
      Notice the term “Royal subject”, there is definitely no private ownership of your body under those conditions. That phrase is still used today and is a yoke We The People threw off in 1776.

    Ah, the leftist sweet delirium. Just take money from the successful and “invest” it. Just throw the money at cronies and Solyndras and utopia will just spring up. Trillions have been spent on poverty, education, etc. But not much has changed or have gotten worse. Maybe making sure the money they get is spent more effectively would be better than throwing more money at the problems. Getting public support by demonizing target after target is not going to do this country any good what so ever.

    The US government in D.C. is a tyrant and tyrants eventually fall. Obama is a tyrant and a socialist dictator. Our government thinks they are our masters and the government ‘by the people’ is a sham. Washington D.C. needs to be isolated and disbanded. The states need to rise up, all of them, and secede from D.C. Let’s see what these tyrants do then?

    It is the ______ in Washington DC that wants to get control so _______ can keep in power. First: Social Security funds were raided and used to invest in the future(buy votes)- Social Security is now an “Age” war where the “Old” will force the young to refund the system. Second: Money was printed to excess and sent around the world (investing in the future & buying votes) this is a hidden inflation. Third: Loaning money out at Zero interest (to invest in future & buy votes) destroying retirement plans. Fourth: Borrowing “money” from other nations at interest (so we can invest in future & buy votes) making us beholding to other Nation’s interests. All to keep ______ in power in Washington DC. This President will be the scapegoat of the Age..

    the government didn’t earn my tax “donation” .. they don’t deserve it; they did not help me get educatedl they did not help make financial decisions.. the roads held no advantage for me. I’m not a communist.. so I don;t believe in the “government owns everything” mantra. Obama is an idiot who is bend on scamming people out of their money.

      DA, the government doesn’t scam us out of our money they STEAL it. They either STEAL it from us directly if we are self employed, or they compel our employers to STEAL it from us if we work for a company. If you think the word STEAL is too strong, try not paying up one time and let me know how that works out for you. The Sheriff of Nottingham (IRS) is alive and well, and living in Washington, D.C.     Aparently, Rush didn’t get the memo, if it wasn’t for FDR needing to do his Fireside chats on the Radio and Televising his speeches (hat tip Joe Biden), there would never had been a need for Radio or Television, thus Rush would never would have had a job. The same goes for the Govt’s need for cars, trains, boats, and shoes. If the Govt didn’t need these things, we stupid sheeple would still be sitting in a ditch, picking our noses wondering what to do next. So Rush is just missing the point, if the Govt didn’t need people to worship them, and they didn’t have a need to allow us to hear their words of wisdom, we wouldn’t exist and there would be nothing.

    The Govt. exists, therefore I am. That is the new motto for our age.

    Get with the program Rush, be thankful Obama lets you keep your golden EIB mike, be thankful he still allows you to smoke your cigars, and be thankful he still needs a straw man. Because Rush, as soon as the Govt doesn’t need you, you will cease to be, just think Descartes, “I think therefore I am”, in Obama’s world, “I am, therfore you exist”

    There are good people all around us, there are a few corrupt people. It is ill advised to paint ALL people as having gained from their toils “corrupt”. To have an “excess” does not equal stealing. Excess funds progress: no excess in the world is sudsistance living. Humans are the first animal to invest in the future beyond our selves. The simple act of growing and storing food gave humans the opportunity to build, to protect, to help our selves and others. What may happen when we give all of the “Excess” to the people in our government so they can guide us in the future???

    I’m not a big Limbaugh fan. But in this instance I believe that he is right on top of it. President Obamas’ “you didn’t do it yourself” speech is a prelude to his next nudge. Since you, business owner, didn’t do it on your own then you owe the government X (whatever that additional amount may be).

    The way to take back this country, if that’s what you want to do, is to contract that size of government. The absolute only way to do that is to substantially contract the amount of money that the Federal government controls. If we allow them to take more money from any source, be it business or individual citizens, the government will expand. There is absolutely no doubt about that.

    We must throw President Obama out of power this November. It’s a shame that the apparent alternative is almost as weak and almost as committed to big government. We have to develop choices beyond the two establishment parties before 2014. They both establishment parties stink on ice! Peace.
