Soros Calls on Eurozone Legislatures to Form a Common Treasury

George Soros and an eclectic assortment of European businessmen, politicians, academics, and economists have taken it upon themselves to pen an open letter to legislatures of the eurozone countries. In the letter published by The Financial Times they write:

We, concerned Europeans, call upon the governments of the eurozone to agree in principle on the need for a legally binding agreement that would:

1) Establish a common treasury that can raise funds for the eurozone as a whole and ensure that member states adhere to fiscal discipline;

2) Reinforce common supervision, regulation and deposit insurance within the eurozone; and

3) Develop a strategy that will produce both economic convergence and growth because the debt problem cannot be solved without growth.

While a legally binding agreement is being negotiated and ratified, the governments of the eurozone must in the interim empower the European financial stability facility and the European Central Bank to co-operate in bringing the crisis under control [emphasis added].

These institutions could then guarantee and eventually recapitalise the banking system and enable countries in need to refinance their debt, within agreed limits, at practically no cost by issuing treasury bills that can be rediscounted at the ECB [European Central Bank].

The proposals made in the letter and the urgency it conveys underscore two well-documented facts about George Soros: his long-time support for the consolidation of authority and his belief that crises need to be utilized in order to make such things happen.

“Establish a common treasury . . .  and ensure that member states adhere to fiscal discipline” Soros and the 95 signers write. This is almost verbatim what Soros advocated in The Crisis of Global Capitalism when he wrote, “To stabilize and regulate a truly global economy, we need some global system of political decision-making.”

“In short, we need a global society to support our global economy,” Soros said. “The sovereignty of states must be subordinated to international law and international institutions.”

In other words, “reinforce” and “regulate” the member states under a centralized authority.

And that is precisely what this urgent call to eurozone legislatures is about.

This should not be news. It is a well-know fact that, for years, Soros has been pushing for the establishment of some sort of New World Order. The eurzozone crisis simply serves as a springboard to make it happen.

After all, it was Soros himself who astutely noted in a Time magazine interview that, “The worse a situation becomes, the less it takes to turn it around, the bigger the upside.”

Centralized governments always fail. So, why would such a smart financier like Soros want Europe to further entrench itself in more centralization. Two reasons really. First, Soros believes he’s going to live forever and become KING OF THE WORLD, that‘s if Obama isn’t available for the position and second, there’s money to be made by him on such stupidity.

If you notice Mr. Soros is making money at breakneck speed during these tumultuous times, yet no one in the “media” seems to give a care. I have a friend that is a currency trader in Europe. He too is making money like gangbusters. He and Mr. Soros have something in common. They are both incredibly wealthy. The concept most average run-of-the-mill liberals, socialists, communists and progressives just don’t get, or possibly refuse to see, is that the super-rich are always super-rich. They never go away. They sometimes relocate like the industrialists in Europe did when Hitler and Stalin were coming to power. Wealthier families in India, China and Indo-Asia did the same thing when political unrest got out of control. Those that have the means are already buying auxiliary homes elsewhere in the world. Friends in Hollywood tell me that New Zealand, the Solomon and Cook Islands are favorites of the “In” Hollywood elites. One has to remember while people were starving in Russia under communism, Joseph Stalin was living like a Czar of old in the Kremlin. Likewise, while the Chinese people were starving under Mao’s communist regime, he lived like the Emperors, he purportedly despised, in opulence. So not everyone has to give up theirs in socialist societies, just some and the ones that get to keep theirs decide.

Yep, the TWO FLASH MARKET CRASHES – under the Obama Administration – was a criminal conspiracy to maraud companies – cause harm to people and their businesses – while Soros made substantial amounts of money – having insider trading information – on what was about to occur – that would later be blamed on a “fat finger”.

But, TWO different occasions- w a fat finger?

If Europe had a common treasury as well as a common currency and a central bank, you would be less likely to have Greeks suffering crushing austerity, Germans feeling put upon by Greek profligacy, and so on.

Did no one else notice that it wasn’t only Soros, but apparently a number of business, political and academic figures who sent this missive?

Or do you all simply jump up and down salivating at the word “Soros” like a pack of Pavlov’s dogs?

Capital, my good man..By the way who is going to finance this Utopian jump to a Central European Bank..Internal Eurpeans Business would have to quadruple down on taxation to apy of its own debt…what Alien World is going to beam down, and Finance a collapsing economy. In case you didn’t realize it, the more money the EU just decidedly prints..The Global balance sheet is rewritten so Europeans can continue some weird entitled Western Way without prudence.
This is irresponsible. Terrible people are having a field day in the Western World..We have all been here before; Is this the Global Government Bubble? Speculators are pushing for Global Recession to push the World into a Global melting pot and unify..the real problem is that Government is a malfunctioning parable that cannot survive without the innovation from the private sector, and every Government in the World today must play its part– or it will by FORCE…The Financial Bubble seems just about ready to pop. The dabblers, strategists, and speculators are wide open..All I can say is Thank God for INFORMATION or True Occupation may have already started..We are not pawns of some pathetic attempt to create a martyr or a scapegoat..
Smells a lot like WWII don’t it..Germany, again, somehow isolated as if she was some terrible parent; having to explain and set dates of possible catastrophe if Europe does not become responsible?! WTF!! I can say no more…Yes, the World is watching!!!!

Why should anyone listen to this crook? Because he’s worth over a billion dollars. I don’t think so. INTERPOL needs to investigate this guy and get him out of the mix. He’s just trying to manipulate the system to achieve his own ends. Anyone who believes otherwise, is not thinking clearly. By the way, I didn’t even read the article. It’s unnecessary. Watch him like a hawk, but don’t give him a thing to advance his cause.
