Sources: Geithner May Leave Treasury After Debt Debate

Sources: Geithner May Leave Treasury After Debt DebateTreasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner has allegedly told White House officials that he is considering exiting his administration post after President Barack Obama and Congress come to an agreement on the nation’s debt limit. Bloomberg’s Hans Nichols has more:

Geithner hasn’t made a final decision and won’t do so until the debt ceiling issue has been resolved, according to one of the people. All spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss private discussions.

The Treasury secretary has said the U.S. risks defaulting on its obligations if Congress doesn’t raise the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling by Aug. 2. The administration and congressional Republicans are at an impasse in negotiations to raise the limit, which also is tied to efforts to cut the nation’s long- term deficit.

According to three sources, Geithner, 49, has made it known that he needs a break from the federal government following the nation’s fiscal turmoil in the wake of the collapse of Wall Street firms. Additionally, sources say that family obligations and considerations are at play in his decision. Nichols has more:

If Geithner does leave the administration, Obama would be losing a member of his economic team who understands Washington institutions and the New York banking world as well as the intricacies of the Chinese economy. Geithner has pressed the Chinese to let their currency appreciate faster to reduce the global imbalances that both he and Obama have blamed for financial uncertainty.

Timothy Geithner a total disaster as the Secretary of the Treasury who has driven the United States right into a financial iceberg with his captain of the ship, a total idiot who is screaming ‘full speed ahead’ as the USA Titanic crashes and collapses with everyone on board realizing that the USA Titanic has NO LIFEBOATS nor any LIFESAVERS for its people to save themselves from the country’s total destruction.

It may be likely that this fool Timothy Geithner is likely to attempt to run for the job of heading the World Bank, a job that NWO Hillary Clinton wants desperately and will be terribly upset about losing should she lose to this failure of a Secretary Treasurer, a completely un American sell out, who couldn’t give one good god damn about the American people to begin with. If he deserves anything, he deserves a good kick in the a** as he walks out the door.

This guy should never have been given the job in the first place. He is not a definitive on economics and was a tax cheat–which proves those who consider themselves “above reproach” don’t bother to pay until they are caught. No loss here. In fact, we need to trash the Keynesian economics model, send it back to Harvard’s lab, and revive Milton Friedman’s concepts. Check out Thomas Sowell’s writings.

Personally I hope they raise the debt ceiling one more time, only b/c I’m not ready for the crashand burn. But in my heart I know this house of cards must fall before the country is able to become independent again. When our independance is realized we will become a powerhouse in the world again. If they do not raise the debt ceiling… so be it. It will be a good thing.

It’ll be interesting to find out whether he “jumped” or “was pushed”.

He’s either tweaked that Obama might not continue to destroy America the way the two had planned (at least short term), or Obama is sacrificing his “Little Timmy” in order to get re-elected.

Either way, I don’t give a damn, but the sooner the better. Also, Since we all realize now that Obama is not terribly bright and has poor judgment and has a child-like outlook on life, I’d remain terrified of how he would choose to replace the current failure. Might be one of those things that you have to be careful what you wish for.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center criticized the White House today for opening talks with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. The Center referred to a news wire story quoting a unidentified senior U.S. official and confirmed today by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, citing, “The Brotherhood’s rise in political prominence” as the reason for the change in the White House position. “The political landscape in Egypt may have changed since the end of the Mubarak regime,” said Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder and dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. “But the Brotherhood’s hatred of Jews and Israel has not changed at all. This seems like a sell out to the European position and I hope it is not a signal that the United States will acquiesce to Europe and begin talking to Hamas as well.”

A few weeks ago, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Mohamed Badie (pictured left) said, “Allah has warned us the tricks of the Jews, and their role in igniting the fire of wars… and they labor hard to spread corruption on earth: and Allah does not love the spreaders of corruption.”

Rabbi Hier continued, “We should not be talking to an organization that can lay claim to being the world’s leading purveyor of anti-Semitism and hatred of Jews. Legitimizing the Muslim Brotherhood sends the wrong message that you can hate Jews, and still sit and talk with world leaders.”

Rumor had it that he was the main one that orchestrated the big crash in 2008 when Obama was running and McCain was ahead in the polls. They figured that would fit into their plans very nicely….and…..it did. Another one is Eric Holder & of course Valerie Jarrett (who is said to really be the one with the power and authority telling Obama what to do). Think there are Dems/traitors of Obama there that are doing what they can to make him a one-termer – especially now with his polls way down. I pray if this is true, it will be exposed w/enough proof to bring all of these criminals to justice. Please God!!!! JUSTICE AND TRUTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
