State Legislative Staffer Suspended Over ‘Non-Racist’, Anti-Obama Chain Email

A Louisiana State Senate employee has reportedly been reprimanded and suspended without pay for sending an e-mail to hundreds of government workers with a picture that appeared to show President Barack Obama as a Caucasian.  The email asked, “Do you like him any better now?  No?  Me neither. … Then you’re not a racist.”

Senate President Joel Chaisson announced the punishment Tuesday for Tammy Crain-Waldrop after a number of black lawmakers complained the email was offensive. “It is clear that the nature of the e-mail in question was highly inappropriate. Such actions will not be tolerated,” Chaisson, D-Destrehan, said in a statement that described Crain-Waldrop’s e-mail a violation of Senate personnel policy.

After she sent the e-mail, Crain-Waldrop immediately sent another message, apologizing for forwarding the message to the Capitol e-mail post office box by mistake.

The Associated Press reports that Crain-Waldrop can return to work Jan. 3 but for her punishment, she must send a written apology to Senate and House staffers and attend diversity training.

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh assessed the story Wednesday during his broadcast, outlining Ms. Crain-Waldrop’s “real crimes.”

“Ms. Crain-Waldrop‘s real crimes were opposing Obama’s policy and, two, defending her opposition as nonracist.  Now, of course such thinking can’t be allowed,” Limbaugh noted.  “It’s hate speech to deny that you can oppose Obama and not be a racist.”

    The First thing that the new Congress needs to do is start investigations into everything Obama and the Democrats have done.Starting with why this man was allowed to run for President.Next George Soros,is he really as powerful as they say ,is he really runing this Country.Then find out why the last three Presidents have refused to enforce our laws on immigration.I really belive the last three Presidents should be charged with treason for refuseing to enforce our immigration laws.This is a very serious matter and the Citizens of the United States deserve to know why our Presidents have refused to protect them from the invasion along our southern border.

    Come on people, I attended diversity training once. It was of course manditory. I learned a lot of good stuff. I learned that because I am white, it is my fault. I learned that my family was evil because we are white. I learned my Great Grandfather was still a racist pig, even though he fought for the Union during the civil war. I learned that the drug and gang problems plaguing our cities are of course the white peoples fault, all because of slavery. And I learned that even though only 2 percent of Southerners held slaves, it was all southerners who were at fault. Therefore, all whites are at fault. I learned that you cannot say anything that might be construded as “ off colour” but a black person can say anything about or to a white person and it is perfectly okay, because after all, it is the whiote persons fault. See, I learned that I actually held slaves and it is still my fault.So the re-education camp I went to made me see just how awful I really am. And f Obama.

    Also, to answer MLK…I happen to like the color of Barry’s skin, it coordinates nicely …. it is the CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER I dislike……..we could put this puppet in any color, and the result would be the same.

    Sad truth…people who continue to use obama as a racial tool have set back racial equality about 50 yrs.

    Diversity training is no more than code speak for keeping political opinions out of the work place. Pretty much common sense. They are not going to try to tell you what to think. Just where it is appropriate and not appropriate to express it. Common sense if you ask me.

    I agree that this staff person should have been smarter re where she sent her email and doing it at work was clearly dumb….but diversity training???? Just because you attend a class or two does not mean you are “trained”…how ridiculous to assume from the image sent in her email that her views of the prez are anything but a clear repudiation of his policies and his lack of skill in leading our country. Guess running the country is a bit harder than community organizing huh??? And, the Senate’s White Caucasus should be outraged that a black man was portrayed as white. What? You say there is no White Caucasus? But, there is an Irish, and a Japanese, and a Jewish Caucasus, and others right? No? Maybe??? Why not? Do only minorities get a voice in our government to communicate their outrage???? Well, I for one am offended. BTW…been to diversity training…being a white middle aged man who faces age discrimination in his job search everyday never was covered in the class…but I know all that I need to know about CP time…I’m on it…LOL…I’m out.

    When will this socalled racist crap end? Does everybody in the US have to be some shade of color before we get over ourselves? DOJ Holdren said we are a nation of cowards. I guess she proved him wrong. I would not attend diversity training. How big is that class anyways, does it include minorities who have wronged someone of color by calling them the N word? Or is this class only for wayward whites who still have not gotten the message that you cannot slight a person of color, question their policies and or programs, their logic, their rationale and their motives. Is everything off limits when it comes to race in this country? Is a picture of our president as a white person offensive if so then what part? The white part? Just some questions that come to mind. God help us.

    The way the Email was sent was either boneheaded or an excellent way to get time off for Christmas. To me, it was a more or less fitting punishment for a lapse in judgement but I like the spirit of the message.

    When George Bush was president, everyone was encouraged to bash him into the ground, yet the same principles do not apply now for Obama. Why? Is it okay to bash an AMERICAN president while *****-footing around someone from Africa? There is no doubt in my mind that Obama is a Kenyan native and not legally permitted to be in our White House. I have never been more disgusted with the White House invasion than now and hope that Obama will be held accountable for his crimes against our country.

      Do they punish other state employees for sending other cutesy email that has nothing to do with work? Or was this selective outrage and punishment based solely upon the content of the cutesy email in question? Like it or not, the sending and receiving of cutesy email is pretty much a staple of modern corporate culture.

      Here is what I think happened. A few racist N-Words (I am only measuring them on the content of their lack of character.) make another phony and false cry of racism to silence their enemies and the Democrats went on another politically motivated Witch Hunt.

      The fact is that cutesy type of email is sent everyday among government employees and nobody is ever punished for it. In this case it was all about the subject matter. Don’t even attempt to excuse the actions of the corrupt as being somewhat noble. This was not about some policy of the acceptable use of email!

They are hoping you buy some $100 tennis shoes. Remember that SSI is retirement Insuraance you pay for. Insurance you get “If” you live long enough to collect it. The more you pay “INTO” SSI determines how much you get back when and IF you get to collect it!! So the 2% deduction is all so DEDUCTING from your SSI

      Great points regarding our current tax program.

      Regarding the topic at hand I for one am getting sick and tired of hearing every time something is said “against” anyone black is a raciest. They (the leftest movement) have used this same old complaint for years and our weak minded government has given into this doctrine. What about someone not being qualified you say? If they are anything but white and their qualifications are questioned the raciest card is used. Quite frankly, who gives a dam? I mean if no one is scared of being called out as a raciest then you take away the power they so often use. This only works on people (politicians all the time for fear of losing their job) that are concerned that they be liked and thought of as just wonderful people. They do not have the mind or heart to take a stand for what is right or just as they always put their interest first by going along with this extortion.

      This why we have so much BS political correctness coming out of Washington today. Time to hold all persons both public and private to the level of qualifications only, dam being afraid of saying what is truth just to avoid being called a raciest, a persons color is not what qualifies them. They use this as a weapon against the weak minded and as long as it works they will continue to use it………….. STOP BEING AFREAD TO CALL IT LIKE IT IS………………VICTORY OR DEATH

      I’m tired of “diversity training” which simply means white people can no longer express themselves… If diversity is such a wonderful thing, why are so many of these classes even necessary? To me, “diversity training” means putting tape over our mouths so that we cannot express the obvious…
