    Executive Orders do not equate to Federal Law.

    Executive Orders may describe proceedures in order to implement law, not to make law.

      Executive Orders are controversial because they allow the President to make major decisions, even law, without the consent of Congress. This, of course, runs against the general logic of the Constitution — that no one should have power to act unilaterally. Nevertheless, Congress often gives the President considerable leeway in implementing and administering federal law and programs. Sometimes, Congress cannot agree exactly how to implement a law or program. In effect, this leaves the decision to the federal agencies involved and the President that stands at their head. When Congress fails to spell out in detail how a law is to be executed, it leaves the door open for the President to provide those details in the form of Executive Orders.

    I hope the next President puts and end to these Unions tax exempt status and make them pony up like we do. Imagine the hit Union campaign funds would take having to then send that money to the IRS instead of MoveOn.org. Obama will be at his most dangerous stage between November 2012 and January 2013 if he loses re-election. He’ll sign stuff like this and God knows what else.

    In knowing Chavez did the same thing, I, as a business owner, would, like Ford, not take their money. This smells of a drug dealer. And with the mob background most of this admin has, this is just business as usual.       There are many of us union members who DO understand. Most will go along with what the leadership say, disreguarding their own common sense for two reasons. First, it affects their jobs and income. Second, peer pressure to conform usually wins the arguement in the unions. There is real fear involved when those of us who know the truth try to talk to our union coworkers about the lies. I’ve been there. They can’t see beyond their pay checks. There is a lyric from an old song says “the hypnotised never lie.” Each of us need to ask ourselves, “what’s the price for selling ones soul?”.
      Mine has been purchased with blood. How about yours?

      This affects ANY business (and even some individuals) that provides services and/or labor to the Feds on a contract basis. Everyone from the little office supply store that sells paper and pens to the local FDA office to the multi-nationals that sells parts to NASA. If Bush had tried this the media would have screamed bloody murder…and rightly so.

      Any person that claims to be an American Rep. Paul is the only choice. The rino’s are already being pushed forward by the media. Fox even forgets to mention him often as a declared candidate. They will continue to push Gingrich, Romney, Daniels and the rest until the message is so muddy Paul will get lost in the shuffle. I am a Christian and Mr. Pauls veiws do not bother me. Jesus and God Almighty believe in mans free will. What right do I have to take that away from another person.       Such a law – that it is illegal to fire someone for joining a Union – is actually unConstitutional, since it violates the employer’s inalienable right to the liberty of Capitalist free trade, the defense for which the United States was founded.

      So, if we actually enforced the Constitutional laws, Unions would still be able to organize to their heart’s content, but the employers would be free to fire these thieves and hire those who respect other people’s individual liberties.

      You are so right. That is the Chicago way for any election. It doesn’t matter how downstate or any other county in Illinois votes. The Dem machine in Chicago will just tally enough illegal votes to overcome any other candidate. Sure worked last election for Quinn who trailed in all polls before the election. Daley barely nudged him into office with Chicago tricks. Obama has Illinois locked up no matter how many vote against him. So unfair…..and it neutralizes how the rest of us vote.

      @indy1.. as I am from IL and formerly from Chicago I have to say your almost right.. they didn’t need to wait for the downstate votes to come in WITH the exception of CHICAGO inner city not the outlining suburbs that are included in COOK COUNTIES tally (which are NOT Democratic) and one SMALL town in southwest IL the entire state is a majority CONSERVATIVE.. IF you look at IL governors race you will notice that those were the only two places QUINN got votes they still wouldn’t have carried him UNTIL all of a sudden 200 precincts in COOK county (Chicago).. suddenly seemed to be able to COUNT the votes for senator but NOT for governor.. those votes SUDDENLY came in AFTER all the other votes were counted.. again that is DALEY’S area.. Why the REPUBLICAN candidate DID NOT pursue a recount is BEYOND me.. NO ONE votes for a candidate that says I WILL RAISE YOUR TAXES.. except GOVERNMENT UNION SLUGS.. who are a large majority in CHICAGO..

      Notice that the definition of “climate” is based on weather history, and NOT based on the reasons why the weather changes or doesn’t change. Also note that climate doesn’t affect weather, but rather the term is used for any aggregate weather data.

      This is significant for the Global Warming/Climate Change debate because it means that those who argue that it’s man-made can completely ignore the causes of weather changes, on which the definition of climate is based. It is precisely BECAUSE weather “can change a lot within a very short time” that discussions of climate area largely meaningless. Interesting, but meaningless.

      Notice also that because climate is based on ever-changing weather, that it CANNOT tell us what a place is “usually like”. If the weather can change a lot, then the climate data which is based on it cannot be expected to reflect any meaningful sense of “usual”.

      Don’t get me wrong. I expect the Poles to be colder than other places – but not because they have always been that way; Rather, I expect them to be colder because there’s so much more water there, which does a really good job of dissipating heat, and they go through long periods of darkness. And in relation to the rest of the world, the Poles have consistently been colder, the way you would expect.

      Though things look bleak at times, keep in mind what we did in November of 2010 at that election. The democrats are afraid that it will be done again, so they will keep pouring on the negative and try to create FEAR. Keep the TRUTH out front, and INFORM as many people as you can about what is going on. Fear opens up a door for the enemy to work; don’t give him any opportunity or wiggle room.
      If the people elect Obama for another four years, then that means that we will have the communists, socialists, marxists, and progressives in the PEOPLE’S HOUSE for another 4 years. I have faith in the American people that they will not vote him in again, and that they understand the problems that we face, and will make sure they don’t make the same mistake again. I think that the American people understand that the democrats have spent us into oblivion and that this will be a burden on the backs of our children and grandchildren for a long time to come. I like when Senator Tom Coburn (Republican/Oklahoma) assures us that he knows exactly how to cut spending, and could easily save the taxpayers huge sums of money. He was an accountant, a businessman, and is a doctor, and surely would understand how to turn this ship around. Representative Paul Ryan also knows how to cut spending. The two could do for the Country what needs to be done. What on God’s green earth are you all waiting for??? I have done my research, and I‘m thinking that I’m right on this one. Just sayin’

Why do you believe groups don’t have a right to organize and speak together? That’s what the Tea Party does. The Supreme Court has ruled that unions are legal. Why do you say they are not?

      Get involved now in the voting process – It isn’t enough to merely cast your own vote because votes are being stolen in massive numbers by ACORN and other corrupt progressive organizations. Don’t wait until 2012.

      Get a few friends together and get trained now to be an election poll watcher. Use the 2011 primaries to get practice because you will need it for the 2012 election. Progressives are way ahead of you already in this game – It’s time to wake up and get involved while we still have elections.

      yes and the uprisings in the middle east are intended to begin socializing. League for the fifth international “ a programme for the liberation of palestine” foretold the uprisings in the middle east. you can find it on the web and was written in 2008. world view weekend had a muslim guest who stated that he knows Obamas brother in Kenya and said he is a muslim , he also said that everyone in the muslim world knows that Obama is a muslim but it seems that people in america dont know it. He is also a socialist , and I believe that the end time false religion that the anti christ uses to come to power is islam. The tri lateral commision has the world divided into ten controlable kingdomes, the anti christ will come up from these ten world rulers. I think that the uprising are part of a plan to socialize the world begining with the middle east. we need to be a freind to Israel and be caustious who we vote for. The end times prophesy say that the anti christ will come as a son of God but will not be. All I know is that they really are taking more and more control over our everyday lives and it seems that america is looking less and less like a democracy daily.

      Introducing Senate Bill 3081
      Senate Bill 3081 is called the Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010. It was introduced by Senator John McCain, but he acted in behalf of Senators Lieberman, Inhofe, Brown, Wicker, Chambliss, LeMieux, Sessions, and Vitter, all who co-sponsored the bill.
      First let’s note two things right off the bat.
      One – Senator John McCain is a Republican. Yes, he’s a “republican in name only” (RINO) as far as many people are concerned, but he wears the label of the Republican party, has the full-court approval of the Republican party, and has run for president on that same ticket. He is a senior member in the Senate, with many years under his belt.
      Two – this bill was introduced March 2010. March 2010. Have you heard about it at all? Has there been an outcry over this bill in any media outlet? Do common every day Americans who are busy working and trying to survive, who don’t have time to peruse and glean information from various Internet news sites and blog spots even know that such a bill is before Congress?
