Stephen Colbert Presents the Epic Conclusion to His Occupy Wall Street ‘Co-Occupation’

Last night, Stephen Colbert celebrated day 46 of Occupy Wall Street with an epic follow-up to the antics he aired on Monday evening.

As you’ll recall, Colbert went down to Zuccotti Park in New York City dressed up as Che Guevara. Following this absurd escapade, he interviewed two protesters named Justin and Ketchup (yes, like the condiment). He told the duo, ”You have something I want. I’ll be open: You have a movement.”

Aside from calling Ketchup a “racist” and a “monster” he goes on to offer his Super PAC’s support for the movement — so long as the protesters change their mantra from “Corporations are not people” to “Corporations are NOW people.”

The protesters, of course, declined his advances. Watch the hilarity, below:

And if you missed part one, watch it here:

Corporations are virtual organisms though when they were coined to be “living things”, the people weren’t exactly having to fight over something as already understood as what it meant to be a living thing. Hence the contemporary need for the word “virtual”. We have presently redefined what constitutes “alive” but it is still safe to say that a corporation is a virtual living organism comprised of (for the most part) real, honest to God, living and breathing human beings and these OWS useless idiots seem to fit the definition of a virus more than people working for corporations do. Some are even taking their children down there to “teach” them a learning experience even with all the immoral, illegal, and just plain criminal and openly performed acts. Where is the NOW on the rapes? Unbelievable is the hypocrisy!

    This was very funny.
The point of these young people was to hit the reset button on society. This has been done at least twice in English speaking history here in North America. The Jamestown settlement with the common store (supply house where the food was kept) and Plymouth Colony in MA with The Commons. In both cases the “shared” nature of the assests lead quickly to abuse, where the effort of the few was disbursed to the many. The few obviously could not carry the many for long. In Virginia the law under Capt. John Smith became ‘He who does not work does not eat.’ And in Plymouth the by-laws were changed to promote individual land ownership. The products of both settlements are the foundation of the USA.
We’ve all heard about the “cool-aid drinkers” but these two are post-child quality.

He needs to read the tax code. Businesses and people are ‘entities’ as far as the IRS, and therefore the government, are concerned. “People” sue corporations just like they do their neighbors. Businesses are not people only in the most obvious sense. Regulations, laws, policy and administrative malaise burden business just like it does individuals. Businesses, in much the same way that government is, are made up of people. Our decisions, leadership, creativity and hard work benefit our businesses just as those same qualities help us individually, if we can cultivate them.

OWS and all the “occupy” groups around the countyr are just 5yr old children having a temper tantrum. The problem is who will be the parents and how will they handle it. A responsible parent would let them rant and rave till they’re tired of ranting and raving and then tell them they still have to do their chores anyway. Prolly not what’s going to happen, but it should be what happens.

OWS: “wa, waa, waaaaaa” sniffle sniffle ‘”waaaaaaa, wa, waaaaaaaa”

See, thats the scary part: Who will be the parents?

      - The government? After all they pay for everything for them; heat, lights, food and shelter… (clothing?)
      - The rich left?… (Shhh, dont tell them they’re rich, they’ll throw a hissy) After all they sponsor every ‘liberalistic’ program that the government couldn’t sponsor because of those mean old conservatives!
      - State or Town/City government? See The Government
      - Churches and Religious groups?
      - Atheist groups (I saw a video on youtube once where they helped a bum so they could enlighten him with their beliefs (lack thereof really) I thought it would be unfair if I didn’t mention them
(HEAR ACLU? Back off freaks! Ahem..)
      - Non Government or rich left sponsored groups that are not affiliated with any religious or non religious groups? Don‘t know of any but there may be and wouldn’t want someone to feel left out.

Because once you hit 13, what are parents?

A safe house to sleep eat be provided clothing and enlightenment in your beliefs, whether you want to hear it or not, and even when they pretend not to hear it or defy it, when they get old enough they will fall back on to what they were taught. Or if you are extremely fortunate, they will not stray from their path…

Ok…I GUESS that is important, but as in my own office/work situation, quickly, the executives ask: “What would you like to do differently”. When the response from the OWS is “The collapse of the capitalist system and our government”, and/or “eat the rich”…I soon realize they are a waste of time and in fact, dangerrous an seditious. In fact, I’d say that anyone that advocates for the violent overthrow of the government, ought to be locked up.

Kleptocracy:“rule by thieves” is a form of political and government corruption where the government
exists to increase the personal wealth and political power of its officials and the ruling class at the expense of the wider population, often without pretense of honest service. No outside oversight is
possible, due to the ability of the kleptocrats to personally control both the supply of public funds and the means of determining their disbursal.
