Resort Mogul Steve Wynn Slams Obama’s Anti-Business Fear Mongering

Publicly-traded companies hold quarterly conference calls where investors are given updates on the state of the company and often hear about positive plans for the future.

Just yesterday, Wynn Resorts (WYNN) CEO Steve Wynn was speaking on a company conference call when he unleashed on President Obama, ranting about what Wynn sees as anti-business, socialist policies that are frightening companies as well as customers:

This not the first time that Mr. Wynn has spoken so bluntly about the administration and his feelings about policies that are holding back the recovery.  In April, Wynn was on Fox News with Neil Cavuto and talked about “the gross irresponsibility of the government”:

      It’s about time someone spoke up other than Donald Trump. What is wrong with people in America, today? We are not a Socialist or a Communist Country. Why are we letting our country slip in that direction? With all of his arrogance, President Obama with the help of Harry Reid and the helpless Democrats who sat and did nothing while watching Obama dismantle the best health care in the world. It would serve them right if the American people could force our politicians on the same care that is coming down the road for us!

      Pukes like Wynn hedge their bet and play both sides. Trump is the same way. Wynn says it in the first clip. He supports both sides. Well when you give money to boths sides but don‘t take a side then don’t be surprised when you get bit Mr. Wynn. If you gave money to the democrates leading up to Obama being elected into office then you have nothing to complain about.

    Oh yeah, Steve Wynn. Self admitted Obama voter. So smart and successful but couldn’t do a 20 minute Google search about Obama to find out ahead of time that everything he is doing is right in line with his past stated beliefs, but now he is shocked! Just like douche bag Trump.

      Dingey Harry was re-elected by illegal voters. The same people who work in Wynn’s kitchens. He thought Harry and Obama would let him keep his cheap labor, and they did, but all his other costs went up under stupid union-regulations. The lack of customers has been keeping him from making a profit. Buyer’s remorse.

    To those questioning the reid support by Wynn..

    I would guess reid has Wynn by the short hairs.

    There is some legislation that is either pending or existent-but-precarious, and wynn needs to appease reid for fear of that legislation failing or being removed. It is all about the money. The casinos that Wynn owns are firmly under reid’s thumbnail. NO WAY will Wynn speak ill of reid.
    Not to mention, Wynn could find himself facing a nasty strike by his employees if he spoke out against their beloved reid.

    Still, it took balls for Wynn to speak up.
    For that…
    KUDOS, WYNN!!

    We need MORE like that.

    I keep hearing that there are many conservatives in Hollyweird, but they won’t speak up for fear of retribution, or because they do not enjoy politics. Well, I don’t enjoy it either! But, I’ve got children and grandchildren on the way and we have ALL got to do our part to save this great nation FOR THEM!

    SPEAK UP ALREADY ! !

      You are right! Winn is between a rock and a hard place. It has to be a really delicate balance for him with Reid, the unions he has to put up with, the pop culture customers and clients, the liberal celebrity types that spend tons of money and having to deal with the terrible business climate they all support.
      I don‘t know what Winn’s real political beliefs are, but he has to be at least somewhat conflicted when dealing with progressives in Nevada………………..

    Reid and the mobs run Nevada. Reid’s purpose is a front for the mob and the unions are a by product of the mobs. This fair weather clown, Winn, is just the same as all the rest of the progressives. When it fits their pocket book then then all is quiet but when the DC mob drops the other shoe you can hear them holler for miles around. Old lady Hillary was the same way but now she is quiet so you know that they are feeding the bull dog. Pay no attention to this guy. He’s in bed with the Democrats from back when.

    I like Steve Wynn. He’s a true capitalist and an American success story. He’s also a patriot with a lot of influence in Nevada. He should do whatever he can to focus on Nevada and help elect fiscally responsible /Tea Party candidates. I’m disappointed to hear he supported Reid. I’m sure there was quid por quo involved.
    These rich big shots ought to take a look at the big picture before they support any liberal or progressive. What they get in return will not be worth the overall damage the libs will do to this country.

      Guys like him will support wherever they see a perceived advantage for their business. I understand it to a degree, but it does not work in the long run. I’m sure that his casino operations are run very carefully, yet he personally approached the Presidential election like a wet-nosed college kid.

    Every time the left gets control of government, they repeat the same failed policies and tank the economy. The folks that put them in office end up paying the price as the job market tanks and these left wing supporters get laid off.
    Every country that leans to the far left tends to have the same results, as history has shown.
    The most amazing part of this is that somehow the left wing politicians convince their base that it is some how the right’s fault that they are unemployed and the economy is falling apart.

    Right on the target! When is America going to come to grips we have a radical socialist who wants to bring America to its knees. I am sick and tired of hearing black people say if you don’t like Obama you must be a racist. Well anyone who says that can kiss my ass.       Harry Reid is a ‘talking mouth’ for Obama and attached at the hip in policy. Wynn may talk a good game but the mere mention of Reid in the same breath as Obama negates the whole premise. His and other unionized employees in Las Vegas are the reason Reid was re-elected, and the only reason.

The schools, starting with “higher” education have marxists professors teaching young minds to hate ourselves. The USA has been fighting Islam since Jefferson’s time. The unions and government regulation have pushed corporations to move jobs overseas. Both Republicans and Democrates have allowed our boarders to be open to the flood of socialists from Mexico and Latin America. One man, Khan from Pakistan has prolifirated nukes to all evil empires. The children are not taught freedom or responsibility and the welfare state is 50% of the people now.       I saw Mr. Winn on a Fox program well over a year ago. I was so impressed in the clarity and truth of the man I emailed him to express my thanks. He sent me a letter sometime after that in response. He’s a good man. Send him an email, he appreciates feed back.
