‘Stick It to Walker’: Protesters Target ‘Pro’-Wisconsin Gov Companies With Stickers at Stores

Fox News reports:

The massive protests against Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s controversial budget that paralyzed the state capital for weeks are now headed for the grocery stores.

But instead of marching outside stores with picket signs, protesters are planning more subversive action: placing anti-Walker stickers on products made by businesses they believe support the law that severely limits the collective bargaining power of most state workers.

The law is currently on hold pending a legal challenge.

The Wisconsin Grocery Association is warning its members to be on the lookout for opponents of Walker defacing some products in grocery stores on Sunday.

Walker opponents have urged consumers to boycott companies that have donated to the governor’s campaign.

There’s an effort under way to expand the boycott nationally by placing stickers on products in grocery stores.

Among the targeted products are Johnsonville brats (“these brats bust unions”), Coors beer (“labor rights flow away like a mountain stream”) and Angel Soft toilet paper.

This effort is being pushed by the same pro-union people who boycotted banks and stores whose management gave to Walker’s campaign.

Notice the difference ******* – Keith fired equals all his shows and him wiped from PMSNBC the day after he was canned. Glenn signed a new contract with Fox – it just did not include his current show.

Sorry to break your little bubble but Glenn will be seen on Fox again and again…..

If you are 55 yrs old or older NOTHING WILL CHANGE FOR YOU!! Paul Ryan is a very smart guy and he is trying to SAVE our county from bankruptcy! He is trying to REFORM the entitlement programs so that tax payers can make individual decisions about their ONE RETIREMENT. They were not wasting their time or their money. Remember these are probably the public empoyees that are funded by our tax dollars. It wasn’t their time when they were using paid sick days to protest common sense changes. You hired them to go to work and teach your children, not to drag them to protest the very system that provides them with employment. If your children were enrolled in a private school how long would you pay for this type of behavior, before you asked for your money back and/or put your children somwhere else. This can all be fixed in Nov. 2012.

I started searching through Walker’s list of contributors for other products to put on my shopping list and noticed something odd:

It would appear that these union protesters have mistaken SC Johnson for the maker of Angel Soft (Georgia-Pacific). SC Johnson makes Raid, Pledge, Ziploc, etc…

I found higher-ups from Coors, Johnsonville, Harley-Davidson, SC Johnson, but no Georgia-Pacific. The closest variant was a GP Management Services, but that is something completely different.

Once those stickers are applied the product becomes damaged goods… and likely the stores will lose money on the items because they will have to discount the products to sell them… or have them recalled. Unless of course there are none left on the shelves to sell… tee-hee!!!

      Dumb lefties!!!!

Gotta go… mail my check to the RNC and stop at the store for Johnsonville brats, AngelSoft TP and Sargento cheese (sorry I don’t drink)

It will be great living in Wisconsin once the unions and lefties go the way of the dinosaurs. We need more courageous leaders like Gov Scott Walker… and Rep Paul Ryan. Two Wisconsinites who care about Wisconsin and America… and are working to preserve the freedoms we grew up with for our children and future generations.

Destruction of property, especially that of a private business or private resident, is still a criminal offense as far as I am aware of. Of course, the possibility of a liberal and union sympathetic DA refusing to charge them may happen as well…hope not though.

Hey all, look what I just did.
I needed to run to Safeway to get some fresh bread.
So I picked up a loaf of bread, 2 bottles of coke+diet coke, 1 pkt of Sargento provolone ,
walked up to the checkout, and after the items were scanned, asked the cashier to take back the cheese and cokes and paid just for the bread. And while I was paying , I made sure everyone heard me say loudly
“ CocaCola and Sargento are racists companies ”
      HAHA .It felt gooooooood :)
( Sargento supported Obama’s vayjayjay to boycott Glenn, CocaCola pays for pro-bono defense of jihadies)

Not sure that placing stickers on store product is “defacing” those products, but whatever.

But polls show that if Walker up for election today he’d lose. He didn’t run on stripping union rights. And all the “good guys,” the police, the firefighters, teachers and so on now oppose him, especially after they conceded on every single financial concession Walker wanted.

Yeah, fine, Walker is wonderful. But, after seeing what he’s doing – that, again, he didn’t run on – the pendulum is going to swing back the other way. The unfortunate fact for Republicans is that most people who vote work for a living like you and me. People vote are working people with an average income. And they see what’s going on: Walker is cutting taxes for his rich benefactors and telling his constituency that they need to pay for his generous patronage of those who supported his election.

Sorry, the average person isn’t stupid.

ReallyAUnionGuy, you need to work on your website. I was going blind trying to read the text, placed as closely together as the sentences are.

That’s okay. So you’re a union member – retired – who is against bargaining rights for wages and working conditions?

Maybe, instead of refering to a blinding website a person has to try to figure out, maybe you can just explain your position to us here.

You’re in favor of unions, your username says that. Okay. So please tell us what rights unions should support for their members, and what rights they shouldn’t. Simple. What rights do firefighters have what rights do they not have? I know a few firefighters by the way, so I’ll ask their opinion.

      Please respond.

I suggest that if you see any stickers on any products then buy them instead. Do the reverse and stand up for what you believe. If you see someone put a sticker on a product walk up to them and right in front of them pick up the product and thank them for point out how to support Gov Walker by supporting those companies that support him. I would and will, I will also make sure the management knows who put the sticker on the product and then they can call the police and have an eye witness to the defacing. Lets not take this lieing down and standing back and watching. Lets react in a positive way and foil their plots and plans. Let us let these people know that we the people are standing up for good sound goverement and will support those that are putting thier necks out on the line doing what we have been wanting done for decades. The time in now folks, think positive, act positive, and be positive, and pray like your country’s life depend upon it – because it does!!
