‘Still a BFD’: Obama Campaign Plugs Obscene T-Shirts In Reaction to Obamacare Ruling

While surfing the Obama campaign’s Twitter this evening, we came across the following:

New Line of T Shirts From Obama Campaign Proclaims Healthcare Still a BFDFor those who don’t remember, “BFD” stands for “Big F***ing Deal,” which is a reference to a line that Vice President Joe Biden was caught uttering in Obama’s ear while the latter signed Obamacare into law. In other words, the Twitter feed for a sitting President just used an obscenity.

At first we thought this was probably the result of someone at Obama campaign headquarters having one too many celebratory beverages, or possibly the result of the account getting hacked. Unfortunately, not only is it not that, but it’s a deliberate fundraising ploy. The Obama campaign has literally created shirts to the effect of this simple Tweet, and the place to buy them is what the link leads to. Not convinced? Here’s a picture:

And apparently this isn’t even the first time they’ve tweeted this exact message, with these exact shirts. Dignity in general may be a foreign concept as well.

    I am quite worried and think our overconfidence will be our (Rep’s) enemy. Immature crap like this will win over the youth vote and those ignorant enough to think this is just a popularity contest. This won’t be the last of these tactics. THEY HAVE THE MEDIA IN THE PALM OF THEIR HAND. Most people I talk to at work and otherwise don’t even know half of this crap is even going on!
    People are clueless and they like it that way….. as long as THEY can keep up with the Jones’ and their little world is for the most part immediately unaffected, they will vote “black and cool”.

    He just got every vote from every single unemployed uninsured person in america. That’s all Obamacare is. Votes from the poor and unfortunate.

      Well, Obama just imposed the BF tax on the middle class. Humm, let‘s see didn’t he tell George S. that this wasn’t a tax. And doesn’t he run around as the defender of the middle class? People are unaware of what else this administration is doing. Environmental regulations are causing businesses to move overseas, not expand, and are costing you (including the middle class) higher energy bills. This administration is going to make it harder and harder to keep up with the Jones’.

      The problem is that even if it is a tax it doesn’t fall into the taxes that the Constitution allows the Congress to pass and collect. Even the income tax required an amendment to make it legal.

      I respectfully disagree with you. He did not get every poor unemployed vote, not by a long shot. There are vast numbers of people out here that Obama has lied to. They will remember him come election day. Most of the unemployed know why they are unemployed, and why there are no new jobs. They lay that at Obama’s feet, as they should. The very people that he now turns his back on are the ones that put him over the top. I will be amazed if he gets re-elected.

    The commentator goes, ‘wait a minute’.

      I personally believe Roberts has shown the wisdom of Solomon re his decision. The Dems are now in a box, as they have to fight the election on a HUGE TAX increase re Barrycare. If I can demand a 10000 dollar operation be paid for by the govt, why not the food i need, why does my neighbor have a 50 inch tv and ii only have a 26 inch. ill go grab his.
      also, if we are entitled to health care shouldnt doctors be obligated to work for govt pay scales? shouldnt there be a limit on their billing rates? of course thats coming next, when congress has to TAX to pay for it.     First voted in the Reagan years, become politically involved in the pre-Clinton years. I’m 53 years old and for the first time I my life I donated to a presidential campaign today, the Romney campaign. Romney was not my first choice, but now we must do all we can to remove the Obamanation from office. Use your anger to motivate you to donate to the Romney campaign, and to conservative senate candidates.

      Joey, I agree with your criticism regarding racial comments, however, your comments should include the same criticism for the Democrat side as well. The never ending racially charged attacks against any conservative towards ANY disagreement with the President’s policies are, for the most part, unwarranted, and contribute to the reactions of some of the postings here. Sometimes if you’re constantly being referred to as a racist for years simply because you happen to disagree with the policies of some of a different skin color, you react out of frustration. Personally, I don’t care if the President was a one eyed, one horn, flying purple people eater, his actions to date remind me of another “Progressive” politician in the late 1930′s in Germany who rose to power promising Socialist programs (including national health care) and who disregarded existing German law whenever it conflicted with his ability to do whatever he wanted. I’m “godless”, an agnostic who hasn‘t been to church in two decades and who can’t stand organized religion, but I’m a decent person, a faithful wife, a devoted mother, and sure as all heck against Obama and his agenda!       It’s not about God or what you believe in, it’s about mental illness, and I am NOT kidding you. Most liberals are mentally disturbed people who have no inner moral compass and no understanding of how the real world works, that’s why they believe the stuff they believe and act the way they act. Just look at them, observe them, see how similar they all are not just in their rhetoric but their looks and lifestyles. I bet you if you did some digging you’d discover something that links them all on the most basic level – maybe it’s neglected childhood, maybe they were dropped on their heads as children, something… But it’s NOT their lack of faith in God that makes them this way. Some of the most amazing people I know are not religious, and they’re against Obamanation 100%.

      How did become better, because the middle class will have to pay for insurance for all the burger flippers at McDonald’s?

      McDonald‘s got a waiver they don’t have to have insurance for their employees. That’s about 400,000 people who will have to be covered.

      In order to do that those who pay for the premiums will pay higher premiums to cover the cost of those who will pay nothing.

      This isn’t like car insurance, those policy holders paid out their own pockets allowing for more people to be covered at a lower cost.

      Who pays for all those welfare recipients who can’t pay for a $150 a month health insurance premium?

      All teh miss information that the Tea Baggers believe. Who pays for the unissured millions today, you do. You do when states have to reimburse hospitals for the ER care given to those without coverage. Unless you are going to argue that it is better to let the poor die, sick in the streets, than the only other alternative is universal, single payer healthcare. As for the threats to business, Mass. did just fine after Romney passed realitively the same healthcare package. Beck is lying to you, Beck is ranting about made up enemies and feed you lie that he calls history. The truth is this is a good dya for America, this is a good day for the middle class and small businesses. Prior to this law, healthcare insurance for small businesses was going up at 16% annually. Wait, unitl many of you and/or your employers will be getting refund checks from the healthcare insurers, more than 20% of the fees you pay go to administrative expenses. I no longer pay a co-pay for my yearly check-up and my sister who is 22 and still in college can remain on my parents healthcare, even given her prior medical history.
