They have both burned up the air waves this last week. Debbie Schultz was on tv everyday for obama during the 2008 election.
These two are getting out the MESSAGE for obama and Miss Nancy. Clyburn’s daughter works for the FCC so that alone should carry a message. His daughter said ‘all nappy headed” kids should have free internet.
Debbie W. Schultz led a protest march in Oct 2010 against Rep. Allen West who was elected in Nov to the House. West, who is BLACK, had written an article for a Florida biker magazine….in response to the article Schultz said this about West: ” he is a self-described ‘right wing extremist.’ In fact, he wears his extreme disrespect as a badge of honor,” During the march Schultz smeared the tea party movement saying they carry Swastikas and burn effigies of obama at their protests. Really Debbie? Really? Where is the proof ??

There wasn’t a requirement for all printed content to carry opposing opinions. There wasn’t a law that said when you give a speech, you cannot just present one side of something. The thing that gets me is that today, with the Internet, anybody can publish pretty much anything. What Clyburn seems to be looking for is not equal opportunity. He is looking for equal outcome. He wants to demand that the AUDIENCE will be equal. It isn’t enough to provide the opportunity for the listening public to get the message. I think everyone knew about what AIR AMERICA was. People knew it was there and they could listen if they chose to. People chose not to. To force any kind of message onto an unwilling audience is just plain wrong. Mr. Clyburn isn’t complaining that anybody is making him listen to Rush Limbaugh, is he? Keep the process free, keep the opportunities open, but don’t try to manage the outcome.

The fairness doctrine was originally intended to give equal time due to limited number of bands on the radio dial. Fairness doctrine is out dated with the vast amount of today’s airwaves and of multiple channels on cable television, no longer can broadcasting be seen as a limited resource.
it’s since been ruled unconstitutional and infringed upon the First Amendment rights.
This idiot is promoting redistribution of wealth, which doesn’t have a place in our capitalism society. Let a business “radio or cable TV” fail or prosper with the product they put out!

What he is really saying is that if somebody says something on conservative radio, which has a huge audience, about a dem then they should be able to go on that same show and say what they want to. The truth is they can but then they would also have to respond to questions which they don’t want to answer to. Sorry but guys like this really need to move on and let new blood in. People of SC are you listening. At least give us a young Dem that is at least willing to listen to reason. Although a Republican would be much better.

I read the other day that Europe has began taking people’s retirement accounts to offset their deficits etc. How long before that happens here. In the early 1900′s the government CONFISCATED GOLD from the American people in direct violation of the Constitutions 4th Amendment.
