Stunning Video After Spain Erupts Over Austerity Measures

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Protesters smashed bank and storefront windows with hammers and rocks and set fire to a cafe Thursday as economic protests in Spain’s second-largest city turned violent.

The riots in Barcelona broke out during a nationwide general strike that closed factories, slowed transportation systems and crippled hospitals. Tens of thousands of people marched in Madrid and other cities protesting an economic plan of spending cuts and tax hikes.
Demonstrators ran past burning trash bins on the street. Some kicked in store windows and hurled stones at riot police.
Authorities arrested 176 protesters across Spain and said 104 people were injured in clashes, including 58 police officers. There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.

Posted on March 30, 2012 at 5:44pmWe‘re being conditioned by the media here to believe we’re coming up out of this economic fiasco, so they’re not reporting anything that reveals there is much financial chaos going on.
Spain has always been a problem, as has Portugal, Ireland and Italy…..and, of course Greece, which has been widely reported, probably because it’s on the verge of total collapse, and there’s no way they can ignore that. Nobody here would know about the big picture in Europe if they only focus on news reported by the liberal MSM.
The sad facts are that Greece has not been saved. The infusion of cash has kicked the can down the road for about a year afterwhich their bond payments will again come due, and they’ll need ANOTHER bailout to survive for a while longer. At some point the EU partners ARE NOT going to elect….or they will be unable….to loan anymore money.
As of this report, every country in Europe is initiating austerity measures big time, because they can’t pay for their socialist utopia. GDP to debt on every nation but Germany is at or over 100%, which is unsustainable for any country. The only alternative is a cut back in services, employees, pensions, pay and assets, plus anything else they can dig up.
The EU instituted large scale importation of third world people to gain more taxpayers and consumers to create an economic super power to vie with the US. But now there is no money for welfare payments, and armed masses will soon be fighting in the streets

All will be taught in 50 years how the biggest Ponzi scheme of them all was social security. I find it absolutely hilarious that all of the soc. sec. trust fund is invested in bonds and that more than 2 trillion of our debt is borrowed against those bonds. At first glance, this shouldn’t seem so radical, until you realize that a federal bond note is a certificate of indebtedness itself. So ALL of the soc. sec. trust fund was already used to finance gov’t debt. THEN, they decided that they could leverage even more money out of the system by borrowing against the notes of debt again. Most people only see this second borrowing of the soc. sec. trust fund money as wrong, but the entire system is wrong.

Just like Spain and Greece this voter block will never agree to austerity measures to keep the U.S. from financial ruin.
With Greek elections coming up the anarchists, Marxists, communists and socialist candidates are gaining support against the current government’s austerity measures. If the leftists win majority the voters will have signed their own fiscal death warrant.
It can and will happen in the U.S. with millions hooked on government benefits like heroin addicts. Look how they riot for section 8 housing subsidies. It’s like a scifi reality show. Anytime there are talks of austerity the MSM propaganda machine kicks into high gear rallying the dependents to call on their masters the Democrats to come to their rescue but eventually the well is going to run dry.
