‘Stunning’ Video: Cowboys Fan Uses Taser During Jets Stadium Brawl

Talk about an electrifying game.
Cowboys and Jets fans got into a heated scuffle during Sunday night’s nationally televised NFL football game (which took place at the Jets stadium), and someone in the crowd apparently decided to whip out what appears to be a small taser to get an edge in the brawl.
As the man with the weapon wildly swings his arm and zaps those around him was wearing a Cowboys jersey, we will assume he was not rooting for the home team Jets.
The video quality is not great, but towards the end there is some first-person narration from the camera phone holder as to what just happened. Not only can you hear the “zapping,” but the man asks the pertinent question: “How did he get that in here?”
Content Warning: Very Graphic Language
For those who are wondering, possession of a stun gun is illegal in New York City. The Jets play in a stadium located in New Jersey, however, but stun guns are outlawed in the Garden State too.

Football is becoming a place to showcase thugish and heathen behavior. I stopped watching years ago, and do not miss it one bit. Saturdays are spent doing family activities with my wife and girls. We get out and do things, get exercise, have fun as a family. Sunday is for church.
The only sporting event I care to watch these days, is local kids at the high school level and below. It is more fun to watch, and it does not put money in the hands of people I have no connection with, nor do I want to support.
I wish men in America would get up off the couch, put down the remote, and become the man of the house, become a real dad, a real husband. Pro sports would collapse, families would get stronger, and we would have a better nation with stronger families.

Right on sir! I’m a sports fan, but if it all went away I would still be breathing. Problem is not enough people like you who would support a massive boycott. Hell, just a few NFL games and it would seriously weaken the league. I can see why Glenn Beck doesn’t follow sports. He has better things to do.

Posted on September 12, 2011 at 7:37pmRex Ryan more or less agitated this to happen, with his pre-game remarks leading up to the game. Surprising they got it through security, but not surprising that a Cowboy’s fan felt it necessary after the incendiary remarks. Anyone recall San Francisco/ baseball. Way to go Rex way to go.

it would have… well… turned into a murderous shootout with some innocent kids shot in the face. although i guess we could also start arming our children, and let everyone get involved.

Posted on September 13, 2011 at 11:31amClive, pretty sure the fight would break up with out firing one shot. A responsible LTC gun holder can defuse the problem with out firing a gun. I would rather protect my family than let them get hurt any day of the week.

Posted on September 13, 2011 at 2:43pmYeah Clive…because people that go to the lengths to get a concealed-carry license would obviously just pull the gun out and start firing at anyone and everyone. History has shown us that this is the case with law-abiding citizens who legally are carrying their firearms.
I mean, just look at all the school shooting that were done by people with legally-obtained and owned firearms with legal carry licenses! You have….okay well…every one of them I can think of were obtained illegally and were fired in “gun-free zones”. But I‘m sure that’s not important. It would render your talking point moot, so I‘m sure it’s not important.

I was at a Bears game with a Cowboy;s jersey on and got beer poured on me…and they were playing the frickin Packers!
We are getting like the stinking soccer fans overseas. Animals that need to be shot…
By the way Plaxico Buruss was still mouthing off when the trainers came out to help the guy he blocked. Posted on September 12, 2011 at 12:52pmMaybe this guy was thinking about what happened to the San Fran Giants fan when he went to the L.A. Dodgers game this year. Remember, he got beat into a coma while leaving the game and may never be a whole person again just because he was not a home team fan. I wouldn‘t even go to any sports game that was not my teams home game because you can’t count on some of these fans to be very sportsman like. Last year at a Rangers Yankee’s game some female Yankee fan stood up held up a large Panamanian flag, on 911 I will add, where noone could see just because she was with 3 young guys who were cocky enough to back her up when she was asked to put it down so the elderly man behind her could see. Needless to say the yankee’s fell behind she put the flag down and left promptly before the game was over, yankee’s lost. But they were looking for a fight.

Posted on September 12, 2011 at 12:28pmThe better question is why all the violent’s at sports games. It’s a game! It should not have any effect on who a person is, or should be. If a game can cause violent‘s in people’s lives then they need to step back and take a closer look at their lives. We have to wonder how can it have any real meaning or effect on a person’s life, if their sports team win‘s or lose’s a game. God help us all, fore we are lost and lashing out at our brothers and sisters for no reason at all.

Posted on September 12, 2011 at 12:21pmTasers are mostly plastic. There is more metal in an underwire bra than in a Taser. Net stop the police state will roll out the TSA to stadiums for MRI & x-ray scans to enter. Truth be told the Taser probably reduced injuries. As a woman I’d want to have one in a stadium instead of just my car keys or OC spray.
