Stunning X-Ray Image Shows How Migrants Packed Into U.S.-Bound Trailer

Yesterday we brought you the story of 513 migrants who stuffed themselves into two truck trailers in Mexico and set off for the United States. Now an x-ray picture has surfaced showing how the smuggled group packed themselves into one of those trucks. From the Daily Mail:

The immigration institute says 410 of the migrants were from Guatemala, 47 from El Salvador, 32 from Ecuador, 12 from India, six from Nepal, three from China, and one each from Japan, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras. There were 32 women and four children among them.

Some of the immigrants were suffering from dehydration after traveling for hours clinging to cargo ropes strung inside the containers to keep them upright as the trucks bounced along from the Guatemalan border, and allow more migrants to be more crammed in on the floor.

The trucks had air holes punched in the tops of the containers, but migrants interviewed at the state prosecutors’ office said they lacked air and water.

    I am not in favor of illegal immigration. These people need to be returned to Mexico, or where ever they are from. But just a question or 2. How bad is it in Mexico for these people to put themselves through this kind of torture, and probably to have paid everything that that have to get here? Why doesn‘t the Mexican Government do something to improve the economy there so that people aren’t cramming themselves into a nasty truck to come to America? Don’t they know that our economy is failing, too? Where do they pee? After they get here, why are they still proud of Mexico and wave their flag instead of the flag of the country that they put themselves through h__l to get to? If all of the people in Mexico feel the same way as these people do, perhaps the Mexican government would be willing to be annexed as a territory of the US? We could send in the arm to get rid of the drug gangs, allow people the freedom to start businesses without fear of being burned down, clean up the police, and make it a place people want to live in? Why are the leaving one corrupt country to come to one that is becoming increasingly corrupt?

    It has got to stop and instead of sending money over seas (Mrs. Clinton), we need to close all borders leading into the US. It’s gotten way out of hand. If Obama and his cronee’s really do love the US, they need to get busy. Bring home troops from over seas, stop all funds to Pakistan, Saudi, Afghanistan, etc. Our borders on the Canadian side are just a open as the borders on the Mexican side. There are wide open rodes that are not watched between Canada and US. I know this as a friend lives in Vermont. He tells me that if illegals want to get into the US, all they have to do is go to Canada first and drive on in! Well, what does this tell you, folks? Do you think our government is doing their job? WRONG! We need to clean house in Washington. This didn’t happen only on the Obama watch, but it’s got to stop regardless who is leading this country. Yesterday was not soon enough.

      You see the thing is that Obama does not love America. He is not an American. His purpose in the White House is not to see America as a Strong Nation Leading the World. He wants to have the World as Equal Nations. That will never happen! There will always be one Country that will strive to be the Controlling Influence of the World. Not being an American is ultimately to his disadvantage. He does not know of the innate strength of the American Citizen to Fight for their Country when push comes to shove. Americans will not loose their Freedom to anyone! Obama has underestimated Americans and what their Country means to Them.

      Hey, hey, now, these fine hard working folk have families here to go to–right! (wink, wink) Same as happens in with the Cubans in South Florida, they all have families to go, never use Medicaid/food stamps, have jobs too even though they are ILLEGAL!

      If I were to go to their country–which I can’t go to Cuba, but Mexico I can, I cannot stay, I cannot work, how’s that? If I wanted to…say change their language from Spanish to English….what do you think they would say to me? Probably call me a pushy American. Do you think it would go down real well if I wanted the grocery stores to stock MY kind of products? Do you think it would go down real well if I wanted to have the 4th of July celebrated in Mexico or have the day off work because of Labor Day? No, the Mexicans are proud of their country and know foreigners cannot push them around–they have a spine, we don’t.

      Or better yet, how about they don‘t let trucks come across the border and then they don’t need to x-ray them? Because I’m certain this technology is getting used against our everyday America, and for myself it makes me not want to create anything for America – no devices, no music, no art, no nothing.       Yes, I live in Texas and “been around for a very long time” shall we say – and as far as I know, this type of thing has been going on for decades. Nothing new at all. And yes, I agree – it’s kept under wraps in order to give the Dems their votes to keep them in power & it seems the Repubs. didn’t ever want to touch it either. Been reading from those in the know say that yes, terrorists are coming over this way. They go to Mexico first & then here. Very dire – especially now that the drug cartels are multiplying and spreading & more people murdered…..I pray there will be a “unique” God placed tough Repub.“fighter” that will fix this in 2012, needless to say.

      Obama agreed in March to end a ban on Mexican trucks crossing the border. In fact he agreed to allow Mexican trucks operate across the United States. It’s much easier and cheaper to direct ship illegal immigrants to union protests than it would be for unions to gather up illegal’s residing in sanctuary cities.

      @ Ivank…and anyone else wondering the same thing…I spent 16 years as a Border Patrol Agent before becoming crippled from an injury sustained during an arrest…“Mexican” illegal immigration is honestly a much small problem…the others, known as OTM’s (Other Than Mexican”) is the largest problem for the Border Patrol. And, it will make everyone happy to know that for years and years, due to political policy, not law…OTM’s were caught and released into the country mere hours later with what is called an NTA (Notice to Appear)…meaning a permission slip to stay in the country as long as they promised to show up for their deportation hearing. Guess what?…they don’t. I have personally caught hundreds of Pakistani’s, Chinese, Serbs, Croations, Bulgarians, Cuban’s…just about any country you can think of all at the direction of our government.

      Did you know that Cuban illegals are really, really special? Yeah, I caught a Cuban illegal once that had done 10 years in prison because he had been convicted of dealing cocaine AND murder but I had to release him because he had already been ordered deported from the United States however, U.S. policy prohibits deporting someone to a country of oppression (Communist Cuba) so he gets to run free in the United States until Cuba is no longer communist…then we can send him back. America…illegal immigration is a huge problem that most of you don’t even know the half of…only what is reported in the News and…they don’

      Ted, I clearly disagree. On closer analysis, I think it’s totally obvious someone kicked on “YMCA”. Although, it doesn’t look as though they have the letters in order…..       I think it is time for Americans to make copies of stories/photos like this and start mailing them to the White House in droves. Let the WH be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of negative mail they would be receiving from all across the country. We cannot just sit back and let them say the borders are safer than ever. We need to push back and remind them visually just how unsafe it really is, and that we refuse to swallow the “party line” anymore.

      I used to work on these “x-ray’ vans as a contractor in Fallujah Iraq.
      AWESOME to see another example of how they can work outside of the theater of war, BUT…

      Lived in Southeast AZ and these people are in first class here. It is common to see 25-30 packed into a van, below the window line.

      It is a different world there and if you have not lived down there you have no idea.
