Coupon Offers Women Free Exam With the Purchase of…an Abortion

A clinic in Orlando, Florida, is offering a bizarre “deal” to women who opt to terminate their pregnancies. According to the facility’s web site, women are entitled to a free pap smear or a discount on the abortion pill should they choose to pay for an abortion procedure.
The clinic, though, makes it clear that these deals won‘t be possible if coupons aren’t presented at the “time of abortion.” Oh, and the site boldly proclaims that the facility has a “one coupon per patient” policy. Below, find some screen shots of these “price busters” as they are currently shown on the clinic’s web site:

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 12:43amThis is a new ethical low for the liberal left. NOTHING is beneath them. They’ll stoop to the lowest lows to garner support and votes in their war against decency and integrity. They are really scraping the gutter on this deal.
I feel that abortion is not a government issue, and shouldn’t be. They should NEVER pay for it with taxpayer money. From a non-religious standpoint, an abortion is a really serious act with permanent consequences. It not to be used as casual last-minute contraception. From a religious standpoint, it’s even worse. There is nothing good about abortion. Promoting or encouraging it like this is very sick.

But, in many states, if you kill a pregnant woman in a car accident it’s grounds for a double homicide. Why is one a “medical procedure” and the other a homicide?

Posted on June 6, 2011 at 9:57pmHaving delivered one of these “nonhumans” at 28 weeks (I am pretty sure abortions are performed at this stage often) I am sickened by what we have become. when my preemie was 3 months old, I remember reading about how the medical people were messing up the argumants for abortion by making babies viable younger. I was outraged, as I am reading this.
There is one commentor on here that I would argue isn’t human either. But I still would not condone any one ripping him apart limb by limb or putting him out for the trash. (I don’t think, anyway)
Rick Santorum announced his canidacy today. I had thought that maybe he was too conservative to win. But now, I hope I’m wrong. I hope that after our Christian country has been slowly drug toward the depths of hell for so long, that we have the guts to back him. I don’t believe that anywhere close to 1/2 of this country is pro abortion. I just think most are afraid of looking like a right wing nut job. Well, if don’t get over it, we all might as well move to San Francisco.
I for one am proud to be a right wing NUT JOB!!!!

I can’t understand why these people who pretend to care about “Women’s Health” would even consider a coupon for such an important decision. The gravity of the decision to abort a baby should be respected, and mothers should be counseled about the future consequences of this act. Instead the abortion mills are attempting to dehumanize this decision like it’s as easy as going to the store for a TV.

Posted on June 6, 2011 at 8:42pmOK, I know I can’t convince you its a “person” but since all recent studies show that babies develop pain receptors at eight weeks (decades ago people said 20 weeks, but that is for the full development of the entire nervous system) and has a separate heartbeat and separate DNA, you must conclude that it is alive and capable of feeling pain. If I took another being meeting those criteria, say a kitten, and cut it into pieces, slowly dissolved it with saline, or stabbed it in the base of the skull and suctioned out the brains without anesthesia, would that be OK with you? Sorry to say, but 3D imaging and improved sonograms have put the “it is just a clump of tissue” argument to rest. It is cruel and brutal. If you want to defend abortion, fine, but be honest about what the procedure is. Then we can have a real discussion.

If you have a different definition, I can’t do anything about that. I am merely asking that you consider thinking of the procedure itself from another angle. Even if you don’t believe a fetus qualifies for “personhood” do you consider taking the life of something that is undeniably alive, growing, and capable of feeling pain in a brutal manner to be acceptable? Maybe you wouldn’t call it murder, but since we can‘t deny that is of the human species and alive and in pain shouldn’t we err on the side of caution? I can’t convince you it has a soul. But you can’t deny that 3D imaging shows twins reaching for each other in the womb, babies smiling at their mother’s voice, and videos of abortions clearly show the baby fighting for his life. If you can‘t prove that it isn’t human, shouldn’t we at least avoid doing what is obviously cruel? If you wouldn’t do it to a cat why would you do it to a “possible” human?

He was only eligible for & given the death penalty because multiple individuals were murdered. @RN Mom- I didnt know that fetuses could live in a petri dish… no way! Conceived in one? Absolutely. Grown and nurtured there? Absolutely not. I hope you arent really an RN if you dont understand a common IVF procedure.
This coupon and sale has nothing bad to it. Abortion clinics need to make money just like all the other ones do, and since most states dont give any money to fund the sometimes necessary clinics, then hey, why not a little coupon action?

Although wikipedia is in no way a credible source, since you cited it as a source I will assume that you think it is. Here’s the definition of a person according to Wikipedia

Not much of a definition. According to this source, it can be defined in a lot of different ways. I would think that the ability to feel pain and a heartbeat are pretty definitive.

Do you understand my train of thought? I dont wanna lose anyone. Everything has DNA, and thats what discerns what the thing will become.
Is a zygote or fetus a human? Not until it is born. Why do I say that? The cell has no conscious for a good deal of time, it doesnt speak, cant give consent, has no sense of anything either for a good while either. A fetus isnt a human for a good amount of time.
Define what a human is, and then think of what a fetus is. They arent the same.

Hows about some ‘ads’ – snl style skits – of Obummer or Peloser and a roving gang of seniors, holding up innocent parents with baby strollers and forcing them to empty their pockets so grandpa doesn’t have to work as a stripper? Then, once they rob the parents, they can pick up the babies out of the carriages, hold them upside down by their legs, and begin to shake the living daylights out of the baby (a few coins could fall) the Obummer Peloser and some of the seniors could scramble to grab the coins. Then, Obummer could tell the babies, “don‘t think you’re gettin off that easy, kid, you still owe me $35,000! (or whatever the actual amount is.
