#RestoringLove Officially Trending on Twitter

Twitter documents what people are talking about primarily through hashtags. Ideas or events become symbolized by putting a “#” in front of them.
Well, tonight, “#RestoringLove” has been one of the main topics of conversation worldwide almost all night, it seems. Here’s how it appeared around 11:30 EST, though it has been fluctuating for hours.

TheBlaze’s Jason Howerton commented: “Cowboys Stadium is PACKED. So much for Glenn Beck being ‘irrelevant.’ Nice try media. #Restoring Love.”

But more than anything about Beck, nearly everyone will agree, the trend simply shows how much Restoring Love and its ideals have spread across the nation. Emphasizing charity, being good to your fellow man, freedom, and faith, it was an event not to be missed.

And when events start trending on Twitter, depending on your settings, a wider audience than those immediately talking about the event are able to see it.

It has some really special pictures on it. I checked Guest services twice, once before Glenn spoke and after he was done. One minute I had it and thought I put it away and next thing when I went to look for it, it was gone. I would really hate to think someone sitting around me took it. There was only one time my purse was not in my site, but I was only a few feet away when I took a picture of a couple sitting next to me.
I am so bummed.

I don‘t use Twitter so I may not be looking in the correct places but I wasn’t able to verify this either. Perhaps one of you would be so kind to assist those of us less “Twitter-savvy” to find some support for this claim.
Or, have some of you forgotten Glenn’s plea “question with boldness, even the things I say…”. Yet, someone does and some of you behave like “The Walking Left”. Perhaps those attacking ‘The-Real-Enrico” are the REAL trolls and not ‘The-Real-Enrico” for merely asking the author of the post to provide some sourcing links. Isn’t that what we do when we wade into The Walking Left milling around the Huffpo, Daily Kos, or at Media Matters?
I have only had a little bit of time to log in and watch the “Restoring Love” event. What little I was able to catch last night was very inspiring. No big surprise there. On the other hand, what is surprising and disappointing is how quickly some of you who claim to be in agreement with Glenn Beck would so ferociously attack someone for doing exactly what he has challenged all of us to do.

I personally enjoyed the restoring faith advent the most.I recommend watching all of the restoring advents.

Report Post »It may be that someone was watching the trends all the time for The Blaze, it could also be something else, but if you had media to show us that Restoring Love was not trending at all, then perhaps you could share those links with us, and then we could see what you see.
Now, i am not a twitterer on a large scale, probably do about 4 tweets a year… i think my whole tweeting history is about 20, and I certainly dont watch trends, nor do i even know HOW to watch trends. We are all learning as we go along in this life, next time, please share, so that we can see from your perspective. It appears The Blaze took a screen shot, but, like i said, I dont know for sure, as many others may be in the same boat. To all, we need to answer these kinds of things with logic and facts instead of assuming the worst. We look better, and knowledge is power, we all win by working with facts.

I wade into the Huffpo, MediaMatters, and the DailyKos somewhat regularly. I am not disrespectful but I question. Nothing you posted was disrespectful. In fact, quite the contrary. You were quite respectful. Merely, holding this site to the high standards we have all come to demand and desire. If people cannot merely provide an honest answer without wetting their pants how are they any different from the site I mentioned formerly?

While the writer may not be actively lying, however, I do think it’s indicative of the uninformed, biased, and propagandist type of reporting on this site. Not that you could ever convince the devotees. Also, not to impugn the author of this particular piece, but I think it’s indicative of the quality of the staff. One has only to look at the numerous grammatical errors on this site for evidence of this.

No, I checked sites that track Twitter trends, then linked to the sites so you could look for yourself. Not one of them is reporting #RestoringLove as a trending hashtag.

I would remind The Blaze staff (and everyone else) that Twitter made a stealth change to your trending options several weeks ago. I remember getting all excited when I saw an anime topic start trending, only to learn from someone else that I was seeing trending topics that Twitter put out for me, based on tweets, those I followed, and those who followed me (on my main account).
So, The Blaze folks need to check their Twitter trending settings, and then go from there. I have mine on US trending topics, and I never once noticed #RestoringLove as a trending topic. :-(

Click ‘Change’ by trends and see if you have ‘Tailored Trends’ activated. Because if you do, then what you’re seeing is what Twitter thinks you want to see, not what’s necessarily trending.

Not at all! I don’t really consider myself a troll, just someone with a viewpoint that is a little different than the usual on this site. That said, the only point I’m trying to make here is that I can find no evidence that #RestoringLove was trending Worldwide, US-wide, or even the hottest topic in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. If someone can find such evidence, I’d be more than happy to look at it.

Then I tuned in to his program tonight just to see. The people performing on stage were absolutely wonderful.
I loved listening to each performer tonight. They were in their own zone and great. To be honest, tonight was worth every penny that I paid just to be able to watch Glenn Beck. What I heard tonight was fantastic.
I have been rewarded 10 fold for what I have originally paid to be part of this NetWork. Thank you Glenn Beck for what you do.
