You do know the psycology of this is to force people to go through the scanners. If you dont they draw attention to you by yelling “op out” and humilitate you infront of a large group of people.4th amendment aside, its a method to condition and control the masses. It does not detect explosives so the underwear and shoe bombers would have still gotten through. A bomb sniffing dog would do a better job than these machines do. Secondly, profiling is not racism, it is police work. If a Bank had just been robbed by a white 22 year old male should the police start harassing every 70 year old grandmother? No that would be ridiculous, kinda like this.

We were given a set a few years ago that adjusted our view on the family. We were given an adjustment to our prescription so we could see that drugs really are not that bad. We have been conditioned for a number of years in what is normal and now we accept things as a nation that should not be accepted.

but with qualifiers and another idea
1. We need to privatize TSA and forbid unionization policies in job practice.
2. Require all fliers to remove their clothing in private changing rooms and wear a toga provided by the airlines after a prior security check-point is crossed.
3. Re-screen all now toga clad passengers a second time and check their clothing into the cargo bin.
(this is where we need better technology. we need a scanner that can detect “things” hidden in orafices that doesn’t expose anyone to radiation and naked pictures—it’s in the works)
If we can consolidate the potential smuggling of bombs and incindiary devices onto airplanes to the buttholes of islamic religious fanatics we will have made a big step forward. but it will be costly.
and what about the children?

I think we’d be better off resigning ourselves to a certain level of risk when travelling and doing all we can, as fellow fliers, to keep an eye out for potential problems.
I think we are brave and strong enough to handle it.
