Supreme Court Votes Present on Fast-Tracking VA’s Obamacare Lawsuit

Supreme Court Votes Present on Fast Tracking VA’s Obamacare LawsuitWASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — The Supreme Court has taken no action on Virginia’s call for speedy review of the health care law.

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is asking the court to resolve questions about the law quickly, without the usual consideration by federal appellate judges and over the objection of the Obama administration.

The case was among those that were scheduled to be discussed in the justices’ private conference on Friday, but there was no announcement about the case when the court convened on Monday.

The silence could mean, among other things, that one justice asked for more time to think about the case or to write a short opinion that would accompany an order.

“This could mean that a justice is writing a dissent from the denial; or that a justice is writing a statement respecting denial; or that a potential fourth justice to grant is unsure and needs more time; or even that the Court is unsure whether to deny or dismiss the petition (for lack of jurisdiction),” writes Brad Joondeph of the ACA Litigation Blog (via The Hill), which tracks healthcare reform challenges.

“We just don’t know. And it is not obvious when we will find out, though the next most likely date is Monday, the next day scheduled for the release of an order list.”

The justices meet again on Friday to discuss pending cases.

Is it the last nail in the coffin of freedom, or is it the first nail in the coffin of socialistic agenda in America . Fear the first, pray for the latter.
Kagen should recuse herself, but won’t, another middle finger to WE the people from the elitists who rule the global economy. GOD, I’m a meek man, small and insignificant, but Lord if it be at all Possiable could your require the breath of life from all of these wicked globalistic would be slaveholders, the purveyors of this evil, in one single day, not by the hand of man in any way, so all will see and glorify your name? But as you will Lord and not as I do. Relax, the liberals justices are just taking some time to lick and dress their wounds after Scalia beat them senseless with the fact that that the commerce clause does not allow people to be fined for not buying something. Even the liberal justices have to be careful with allowing this….although they will argue for it. F-ing commies.

We the People have no way to pressure the Supreme Court to act. On this issue they are demonstrating that, like the majority of the people in America, they don’t want to get involved. Ding!Ding!Ding! we have a winner. the playing for time is the lib’s on the court praying (preying?) that one of the conservatives retires or dies. The cons trying to show the beltway crowd how sagacious they are by letting it play out slowly. I would bet my house if the roles were reversed the libs would be sitting up there sayin’ “le’s go! le’s go! lets this show on the road!“ Sad when the supposedly ”highest” court in the country so undermined by partisan politicking. The Scotus should have just 2 verdicts…constitutional/unconstitutional, with no tea leaf tradings about an aura of a shadow of a penumbra crap. Point to it in the constitution or its unconstitutional.

S.C. Justice Kagan should recuse herself because she was President Obama’s solicitor general WHEN THE SUIT WAS FILED and when the Obama administration first took steps to oppose it.

Kagan should be allowed to have anything to do with this case. Why hasn‘t she already stated that she’ll recuse herself? Because she’s just another radical leftist with no morals who will refuse to do the ethical thing. The lying leftists have already tried to head this controversy off at the pass by dragging S.C. Justice Thomas and his wife into it. Pathetic, but par for the course when dealing with the “extremists” on the left.

You are ABSOLUTELY correct and justified with your attention to Elena Kagan! If she stoops so low and doesn’t remove herself from this obamacare trojan horse of which she was the main player in all of the legal aspects of (google all of the legal documents with her signature pertaining to this case and denying any and all attempts to challenge it) of this awful, EVIL, malicious attempt to destroy this country….along with all of the other attacks at various levels, in action RIGHT NOW!!!! The court is our only immediate solution…. If we win all branches of govt. in 2012 and try to get all those (entertainers)politician monkeys to successfully repeal the law that has already had a couple years to dig in……..TISK,TISK…. I don‘t know if they’re capable or qualified after the way I’ve witnessed those crybabies perform here lately……. what a damn shame!!!
