Surprise: Communists Make Cameo Appearances in Jobs Video

The Chicago Jobs With Justice says its goal is to “improve working people’s standards of living, fight for job security, and stand up for workers’ right to organize.“ Their ”core belief“ is that ”in order to be successful, workers’ rights struggles have to be part of a larger campaign for economic and social justice.“ So it might come as no surprise that a recent promo video for the group includes some familiar ”struggle” proponents: communists.

First, the group’s leader. As Trevor Loudon over at NZ Patriot points out, Chicago Jobs With Justice is lead by Susan Hurley. Hurley is a veteran of the SEIU as well as George Soros’s MoveOn.org. She will even be the keynote speaker at the Chicago Communist Party’s 23rd Annual People’s World / Mundo Popular banquet.

It makes sense, then, that communists pop up in her new promo video. Loudon explains who you will see:

Here’s a promotional video for the U.W.C. featuring Hurley, a cameo of Communist Party labor secretary Scott Marshall at 27 seconds and a speech from 91 year old Communist Party veteran Beatrice Lumpkin at 3:34.

Loudon believes the video points to a larger plan and problem:

Communist Party “friend” Barack Obama creates unemployment with socialist economic policies.

The communists then organize those unemployed to pressure the Administration for “Green Jobs” and huge public works programs.

The communist then colonize those organizations and programs and use them to pressure Obama for still more socialism.

Meanwhile, you and your family pay, in gold and grief, the entire cost of your “liberation”.

Clever eh?

    Hey commie idiots. Do you not realize the reason American companies send jobs overseas is because of minimum wage? Why make something in this country and be forced to pay $7.55 and hour PLUS all the employment taxes on top (the employee doesn’t even know about but the company still has to pay when they can have it made in another country where people are HAPPY to make $2.00 a hour!

    Push your “living wage” CRAP and watch millions more jobs go overseas! You commies are so stupid, there are NOT walls around this country. Make businesses out to be the evil demons and they’ll pack up and leave and take all their jobs with them!! Without bis businesses and the salaries they pay their employees, the government would MAKE NO REVENUE and thus will not be able to support the commies. The Government is so far in debt right now because of the commie thinking of the past! My god, get a freaking brain you commies!

    Can you hear their insane reasoning? They say they have bad working conditions AND they want their jobs back. It is really simple (if they are telling the truth).
    If your working conditions are bad, work it out with your boss or find a better job. If you can not find a better job, be thankful for the cruddy one you have. If your working conditions are truly as bad as you say, report it to OSHA like the rest of us, otherwise shut up and get to work.

    The commies are making things worse by trying to force legislation to make jobs where none exist. It didn’t work anywhere else, it ain’t gonna work here. My father talked about the depression, lucky enough to get a job at 16. FDR did this and didn’t work. The politicians won’t learn from history, too smart for their own good and they say we are too stupid to understand what they are doing.

    It is truly scary. I actually can remember in my high school years learning about different theories of government and that “communism and socialism look GREAT ON PAPER..but that is about it…” then they would go into WHY THESE TWO IDEAS of government DO NOT WORK….

    It’s scary to think that all the kids in schools are learning that “perhaps there really is a way to get everything i want, by doing nothing… and there is enough money and everything to go around so that we all get to live equal lives…”

    I just think of how the country and all the people will act when suddenly there are bread lines… LINES in GENERAL… we are in a country where today…….kids CAN’T EVEN WAIT IN LINE FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES WITHOUT THROWING A FIT. Imagine having to wait in line hours for a roll of toilet paper… (that is……..if it is your day to get it rationed too).

      When I was in high school during the 70′s, we were required to take a course called “Comparative Political Systems” that contrasted our republic with communist countries. Unfortunately, such an accurate, unbiased comparison is not likely in our current political climate. Our country’s kids probably get fed a nice rosy picture of life in communist countries, but not mine – they’re home schooled.

    This isn’t new or surprising. It’s just that now we have more people paying attention and highlighting the truth behind these organizations and the real desires of communism and socialism for the US.

    The internet is our tool and eventually they will either be rooted out and exposed or the Internet will be restricted like it is in China to prevent the truth from being discussed.

    Only thing we need to do when confronted with someone who really is naive enough to think Communism is the way to go is find someone, anyone, who will talk to them that has either come here from a Communist country, or from any repressive regime, (Nazi Germany, Cuba) and let them tell all the evils of Communism or similar firsthand. What we really need is a group of citizens from these countries to get together and get vocal. So many who support this stuff have never even ventured out of the US. Global travel really opens your eyes and most often you will find yourself kiss the ground when you get back. We have GOT to wake these fools up.

      I totally agree with this notion. I DON’T KNOW WHY….. a weekly TV drama has not been created that CLEARLY demonstrates, day-to-day, life inside Cuba, the USSR, China…. people are not going to truly understand until they watch the slow grinding destruction that is socialism.

      Until you‘ve FELT what it’s like, you don‘t know what it’s REALLY like.

      If I had the money to start a production company, this is what I would do with it, TEACH people what socialism really is and how it really works. I would find 3-6 writers that had suffered under the boot of the Soviet empire and I would enable them to tell their FULL story.

      The final episode, the day they stepped off whatever it was that brought them to freedom, and that moment indelibly writ upon their live.

      The people in this video, know not what they do…..

    Take you own destiny in your own hands.
    I understand doing what it takes and that is commendable.
    Take any job you can until things get better.
    Im not an Economist but I highly doubt anyone yelling to give everyone there jobs back has a college Degree or a skill other then manufacturing or general labor.
    Talk to your Union Leader about why you dont have a job.
    You are no entitled to a job just because you breathe, earn it. Sorry but you are responsible for your own life and that of your families, NOT ME or the Gov.
    Things will get better, Hope and Change is coming…………in 2 years!

    The educational system is not teaching what happens to a society that falls for the Communistic way of life. Most pictures of “the people” with hands outstretched begging for food and wearing rags for clothing are kept out of textbooks. No, this will not happen overnight, but eventually that is the road that is so often traveled. Even Castro, who so generously gave rice cookers to “the people” has said that things aren’t going so well in Cuba. And, jerks like Michael Moore seem to genuinely think that this is what most people need and should accept as their destiny. Our media seem to be following the leader, fearful of losing their jobs or social standing. A group of self-serving asses that don’t give a hoot about the “unwashed middle of the country,” but only too eager to be part of the elite class whom we are all supposed to watch, admire and believe. They seem to be resigned to the fact that the folks will just have to get used to things and be thankful for whatever is given to them.

    Everyone should take a real look at the faces of their children and grandchildren, their eyes glowing with dreams of becoming big kids and then adults. What are we as adults laying out for their futures?
    Be happy with the crumbs that are thrown your way, or the sky is the limit, kid.

    Why do these people always turn to community organizers or unions? What is wrong with the old fashioned way of working hard and earning a raise in pay? The unions allow people to lay back and the person next to them to work hard and get the same pay…union scale! That is my definition of brain dead! and they pay to keep their jobs through dues!

    From first hand knowledge, Hunger is a great for motivation, The one fellow with his son is the type of person whom most likely would get it! He got laid off, he’s out on his own, trying to scrape up money to feed his family. Man does this sound daja vu! I was him, He’s the type we should concentrate on! He has the spirit that must be saved before the left can break him!

      Mike – My theory is it is lack of oxygen to the brain. These large cities have smog, gas emmisions, industrial pollution, and a lot of “educated” people spewing out tons of carbon monoxide from on top of thier soapboxes. I also think that moist sea air can further decrease the lack of oxygen to the brain – just look at the large population centers on the east and west coasts… all Blue cities. The exception is the Southeastern US, but I think that is due to generations of migration of intelegent people away from the “infected” areas of the country. Or maybe it has something to do with Pina Coladas. Still working on that part. lol

Sadly the progressives with the help of holly wood and the media which they controlled, were already strong enough to shout him down.       Unfortunately, we have a younger demographic that is not being taught the reality of communism and socialism. They are being brainwashed into thinking that capitalism is the problem and communism is the solution. Try to engage one of these young communists and get them to explain where the money is going to come from to support all the green jobs and public works projects and most likely you will labeled a capitalist pig or the word of the day, racist.

    I think they‘ve made the biggest financial mess that any government’s ever made in this country for a very long time, and Socialist governments traditionally do make a financial mess. They always run out of other people’s money. It’s quite a characteristic of them. They then start to nationalise everything, and people just do not like more and more nationalisation, and they’re now trying to control everything by other means. They’re progressively reducing the choice available to ordinary people.

    I must admit that these commies have figured out ways to get the average Joe to pay for their ambitions. This is where we the people have to stop it. They are using the system to funnel our money to their causes. George Soros is great at this. Makes people think he is paying the bills when what he is actually doing is sucking politicians into funneling our money to his hundreds of organizations that do his work. So he directs these groups to do his works at our expense. Bombard the congress with complaints about these organizations and cut off the money. Soros in the big scope of things is a bug on the windshield, he is rich, but not that rich. He needs you to carry on his campaign against this country.

      Maybe if they put down thier signs and picked up the want ads they could find a job. As I have said before, I had a help wanted sign on one of my work vehicles and in four months took one application.
      These people aren’t willing to take ANY job, they only want thier old jobs at thier union pay scale.
      Lastly, can someone please tell me why the scrap lady isn’t pleased that she sees so many making supplemental income picking up cans and scrap? It is what I would do, I used to do housecleaning on the side to make ends meet. Now I own a cleaning service and do quite well.

The more we disclose their true intentions the more people will eventually see the light and help put a stop to it. The ones I am concerened about, however, are the young people. They seem to buy into this crap more than any other age group.

      There was a time when people could recognize evil at a glance. Communism IS pure evil in it’s perfect form. Unfortunately, that time has passed, especially for the young, who are being regimented and coerced by ignorance in government schools. What lies ahead is uncertain for sure but it will not be the same as the past for us here in the USA. I am hopeful that there lies a grain of knowledge in each of our young that will again thwart communism and show it for the evil lie that it is.

      Novel idea, these commie groups are financed with tax dollars. Instead of killing home mortgage deductions and taxing the hell out of average people how about cutting off tax exempt status for the special interest groups. Since the commies use and funnel money through most all of them and people like Soros use them as tax shelters we could balance the budget on their backs. Write your congressman, “Stop the tax exempt statues of all special interest…………..”

      @ John – I agree. The young people in America are the ones I am most worried about. This generation feels they are entitled, and should be taken care of. They have a dangerous mix of liberal schooling, limited exposure to the ways of how real life works, and no life experience or sense of long-term history. They are being sold on the idea that socialism is going to take care of everyone and solve every problem with no knowledge of how socialism and communism would truly affect their everyday lives and their future.

      The communists and socialists are the ones educating our young people these days, and with the lack of parenting in this current generation, their hold on these impressionable kids is stronger than ever. I’m worried that this whole socialist viewpoint will continue to spread like a virus.

      I assume they’re referring to the big “evil” capitalist corporations and “rich, greedy white people” who run small businesses, right? If so, then why in the world do these people support socialist labor unions and politicians who seek to PUNISH and regularly DEMONIZE the very entities who COULD create jobs for them if only the politicians and labor groups they support would just GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY?

      I guess if anything the adoption of the socialist movement among our poor and ignorant masses in these blue city/states is emblematic of the utter failure of our educational system (ironically controlled by the fellow traveler neo-Marxist groups like the NEA).

      Seems to me that the election of Obama marks the point at which all of the tentacles are in place, ready to pull the rug out from under our Capitalist society. Question is, will average citizens fight back – as witnessed by the growing Tea Party movement or will there be enough mushy-headed “moderates” out there who will accept the (growing Socialist) status quo?

      The next few years ought to be quite interesting to say the least.

      I think all kids in schools should be shown videos of the atrocities that come about directly because of Communism. Lord knows there are plenty of them around, and even plenty of examples in modern history, not just in the past. Kids need to see first-hand what happens when you let your government have complete control of your life. Let them see what would happen then, if they dare voice their opinions against their government like they do now.

      I have to say that this recession has cause people to work harder.. no matter what it is your working at.. there was a old body from a truck dumped years ago next to my lot in the forest preserve from before I moved in some Hispanic guys came by and asked if they could have it told them to help themselves.. took them an hour with a cordless saw they had it cut and in their van.. for two summers before 2 black guys had asked about it but never came back for it.. it went to those willing to do the job.. actually whenever we have any scrap metal we leave it in a bucket at the end of our lot for the junk guys.. Why all of a sudden is it a bad thing to be a junk guy?? or a CTA bus driver (which BTW get paid GOOD MONEY).. so bad they want to be a communist?
