Surprise: Democrats Not Fans of CPAC

The Democratic National Committee is using video and audio clips from last week’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to paint conservatives as right-wing lunatics.

According to the New York Times, the three-day conservative fest “provided plenty of fodder for Democrats as they seek to portray the Republican Party as an extreme ideology that is out of the mainstream for most Americans.”

An online video released Monday from the DNC highlighted this effort, suggesting President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats are middle-of-the-road centrists who favor competition on all levels.

The video shows Senator Rand Paul, Republican of Kentucky, calling for an end to the Department of Education. And it shows the audience at CPAC cheering the idea of opting out of Social Security.

It then shows Democratic lawmakers talking about Democratic efforts to increase jobs in the country and President Obama talking about the nation’s optimism and drive to “do big things.”

Ha! Ha! I guess its easy to understand they why members of the socialist party (formerly the Democratic Party) would not like the CPAC conference. Its because they are scared to death of losing their plush jobs in Washington. Perhaps many of these cockroaches are sorry they supported our muslim socialist President. Lots more socialist pink slips coming in 2012 and they know it!

    From Star Parker Newsletter:

CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference, has been an annual gig for me for years. But this year I concluded it was not my place and I declined to participate in the various venues at the event for which I was invited.

Yes, the reason I declined was the inclusion of GOProud, a group identifying itself as representing “gay conservatives and their allies,” as a sponsor of the event.

And it‘s the reason why some of the nation’s most important conservative organizations — the Heritage Foundation, the American Family Association, Concerned Women of America, Family Research Council, Media Research Center, and the National Organization for Marriage — did not participate.

The founder and chairman of GOProud removed any doubt on my part that not participating was the correct decision by dismissing these groups as “losers,“ ”clowns,“ and ”not relevant.”

I, of course, have been accused of being worse than a clown. The barrage regularly comes in from the left. But this is a first that I’ve had to listen to this kind of stuff from a group that postures as “conservative.”

I became a conservative in church. I thought I was doing okay in my previous life — scamming the welfare system, going to the beach, soaking in my welfare subsidized hot tub, treating sex as a hobby, and abortion as birth control.

In our culture today that views material prosperity as the ultimate barometer of success, the truth is becoming unfortunately lost that the evil man can prosper. And if there is nothing more than what is before our eyes in this world, what does it matter?
When I understood how the culture of welfare state materialism was destroying not just my life, but also all of black America, there was no dividing line in my mind between “social issues” and “economic issues.” The only dividing line I saw was between right and wrong, good and evil.

The idea of “gay conservative” is an oxymoron.

“Gay” is everything that “conservative” is not.

The foundation of the worldview that so-called “gay conservatives” embrace has far more in common with liberalism than with conservatism.

It’s a worldview that is man-centered rather than God-centered. It is a worldview that rejects eternal truths passed on from the beginning of time. Although the worldview that “gay conservatives” choose to invent may diverge from the worldview of liberals, their common ground is they make it all up.

And it is here where “gay conservatives” and “liberals” fundamentally depart from conservatives.

Conservatives believe that there are objective and eternal truths, not of the product of any individual human mind, that are transmitted through the generations. Culture is not like HDTV or iPhones where the newest model is the best.

These eternal truths provide the light in the fog that keeps us from crashing on the rocky shores where our base instincts lead us.

“Gay” is liberal, not conservative, regardless of what their stand may be on government spending or taxes.

It’s why, like all liberals, they use language to create reality, rather than appreciate that words have meaning that reflect reality.

So they have re-invented the word “gay,” re-invented the word “marriage”, and now they want to re-invent the word “conservative.”

Finally, we will re-invent the word “freedom” and we’ll put the final stamp on the idea that a free society, rather than being the path to truth, is the path to meaninglessness.

What individuals choose in private, and for which they bear personal responsibility, is separate from what we sanction publicly for which we all must bear responsibility.

A value-neutral government is impossible. The central battle in our country today is about values and how we understand freedom. It is a battle for our very soul. And, as we learned from CPAC, it’s not a struggle that is just between Democrats and Republicans.

The Dems hate approximately 72% of the population. Roughly 22% of those are Blue-Dogs. If we had a true conservative party devoid of religious ideology, the far left would disappear into obscurity within a decade.

Or, how about this? Re-elect no one ever again. Ever.

Congressman ALLEN WEST – is the man who can look straight down the barrel AT OBAMA!

SOMEHOW – we MUST encourage Allen West to RUN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012.

    The WINNING TICKET:

    Allen West – President
Christie or Herman Cain – Vice President

IF we could get these guys to run – Obama would start PACKING!
Anyone else – Obama is going to be out GOLFING until the day OF his campaign.

I have a solution for ending the discord in America: Let Texas secede to become the Christian Republic of Texas and let Liberals turn the other 49 states into the Independent Obama Union. All non-Christians would be relocated from Texas to IOU and all Christians would be relocated from IOU to Texas. If that were to happen, the new IOU would be completely bankrupt within two years and Texas would be the richest nation on the planet.

As a Christian, I think you are insane. Another Civil War would destroy our nation. Texas would have to be crushed. Our troops would be pulled from all over the world, meaning defeat in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Korea united under Kim Jong Il. You claim to be against socialism, but communism would take over in many parts of the world once US troops left. The South Sudanese, a country separating from an abusive military dictatorship would be destroyed, and once again, dissolve into a state of conflict.
If you want to destroy the United States, go ahead, you terrorist.

Here’s a newsflash – we have an Islamofascist-communist in the White House who is destroying America and dreams of a global communist government that taxes the air you breathe. Within five years, the United States will no longer exist, not because of “terrorists” like me, but because of people like you who have their heads in the sand.

Allen West, Hermann Cain, or Ron Paul (though I think he looks like an unbed bed and puts his lines out just about the same)…ANYONE but Obama… ANYONE almost, just NOT Romney and not McCain, and NOT Newt..you get my idea??? No more RINOS…We need someone willing to make the hard choices, and be willing to be maybe a ONE TERM PRESIDENT to put the country back on track. We are going broke people..the Unions are ruining us…what part of this do people not understand. We either go down with the Unions…or we stand up to them an defy them…you can’t have it both ways. Schools in this country suck…I had a better education out of high school than college grads have now. What does this say for todays education? I could hold down jobs that my college educated family members could not do, because they did not have the skills…something is bad wrong with paying people more and more good money after bad. It has to stop…we need to educate these kids, and this public school system is not the way…except for exceptional children…Our white kids, of normal means, whose families get up everyday and go to work at normal jobs making less than $50,000 a year for one member of the family, they can’t get help for college…only if they join the military or if they are a minority…these poor white kids can forget it, unless they can claim some hispanic blood…My best friend in high school was hispanic, so don’t call me a racist…and I also LOVED a 1/2 mexican guy I “almost” married…so I am not a racist…but this is the facts…White kids either have to be way above the mark, or they have few choices as far as continued education. I have a 17 1/2 year old grandson, smart, honor student, who can’t get any help as far as college, unless he wants thousands of $$$$’s in government loans he must pay back as soon as he graduates…something is bad wrong with this system. He was born here…raised here, and I have 3 others coming right behind him…that are the same way…this whole mess stinks to high Heaven as far as I am concerned.

The left sees anything not conforming to its ideological driven agendas, such as the right, anything conservative, constitutional, freedom loving, america loving, free thinking, and not in absolute lock step with them as insane…

Guess the only insane ones are them, as we all have individuality, where they want all to conform to the misguided and delusional insanity they drink deeply of from every hour of the day.

My response to Obama no this video was that he wanted the Goverment to do all those things and we are to bow down and depend upon gorverment to do those big things for us. If we want to start a company then we need to go to the goverment they have the money and know how to start a business for us! We don’t want that Goverment, we want the freedom to work hard and the chance to make it.
