Surprise! Iran May Still Be Developing Nuclear Weapons

A forthcoming report from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will, once again, sound the alarm on Iran’s continued quest to build nuclear weapons. Despite increased scrutiny and penalties from the international community, Iranian leaders appear undeterred. Politico has more:

In the report, the IAEA said it was still assessing “further information related to such possible undisclosed nuclear-related activities” as member states provided evidence suggesting that Iran has continued its nuclear program.

The report also found that a mysterious Syrian installation bombed four years ago by Israel was likely a nearly completed nuclear reactor. That’s the most definitive the IAEA has been about the building’s use since the attack that destroyed the facility.

And according to the AP:

“The agency remains concerned about the possible existence in Iran of past or current undisclosed nuclear related activities … including activities related to the development of a nuclear payload for a missile,” said the IAEA. Overall the report said the agency cannot “conclude that all nuclear material in Iran is in peaceful activities.”

Currently, Iran is under four sets of U.N. Security Council sanctions. Earlier today, in an effort to further isolate the Middle Eastern nation while punishing companies that do business with its regime, the Obama administration targeted seven foreign companies with sanctions. Additional sanctions were imposed on 15 individuals and companies “…in China, Iran, North Korea, Syria and elsewhere for illicit trading in missile technology and weapons of mass destruction.” And it doesn’t end there:

In addition to the Iran sanctions, the administration imposed penalties on 16 individuals and firms from Belarus, China, North Korea, Syria and Venezuela for violating the Iran, North Korea, and Syria Nonproliferation Act by selling or buying sensitive equipment and technology related to nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and ballistic missile systems.

OK I can see no one who has an ounce of brains is the least bit SURPRISED by this.. well that leaves out OBAMA.. and most of the people in the W.H… I am so sick of the DUMMY’S in the so called leadership rolls that ALLOW countries like IRAN to get away with this and THINK they can stop them with sanctions… NOW the leader of IRAN is heading OPEC.. well that will help bring oil prices down won’t it..

Not one bit of surprise here, I‘m surprised this administration hasn’t helped them …. come to think of it, they were just going to sit down with Iran over a beer and work this out, weren’t they!! They have certainly encouraged them, espeically this past week.

The US and the rest of the world won’t do a thing. At most, the UN will issue some bloviated resolutions that have no teeth, and business will continue as usual. If Iran gets nukes, and stations a handful in Venezuela, I can’t picture an American president (especially a Democrat) invoking the Monroe Doctrine and taking action.

The only thing to stop Iran will be an internal uprising that overthrows the mullahs and installs a new government more favorable toward Western ideals.

  When it comes to dealing with the Iranian nuke situation, we may all be in for a shock, or at least the majority of us…just like where France and Britian are sending attack helo’s into Libya…there have been a couple of the smaller gulf states talking about going after the nuke sights themselves or as a coalition from the Emirates and Oman; the Saudi’s have also been voicing possibilities of it as well on some of the middle eastern news sights.
  
  Imagine if for one time, to deal with a greater regional danger, they do unite for this one effort, and maybe even in secret allow Israel to stage from there as well?
  
  I know it sounds crazy, but the fact too is a few months back, I reported to the blaze and some other sights of IDF jets here over Phoenix, making simulated low level attack runs, and I have to wonder if there is something in the works soon…?

You guys won’t care about this but Orson Wells did a TV show back in the eighties on predictions. They played up one prediction about a king of Persia that launches nukes at the west. Even the guy back then looked like Ach my dinner jacket.

  I have read reports on the middle eastern news sights that the nations of Oman, and maybe even the Emirates will go it alone to strike out at Iran’s nuke sights if they have to; it may be just more wishful thinking, yet who knows…maybe they might allow Israel to stage from there as well…?

  I say that they should at least develop half as many nuclear warheads as Israel has right? Then maybe they should develop a secret program like the Samson program in which if they are attacked and the US doesn‘t come to their defense right away they’ll launch nuclear warheads at European capitols and even American cities? Then they could be just like our staunchest ally right? You mean every staunchest ally doesn’t have a plan like Samson?

  I miss the good old days when it was just popular science claiming the wild conspiracy that there was this portion of Nevada that was used to test secret weapons and other things. I think they called it area 51?
