Suspected US Missile Kills 2 Militants in Yemen

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — Security and tribal officials say a suspected U.S. drone has fired a missile at a car in a southern Yemeni province, killing two brothers thought to be al-Qaida militants.

Yemen’s defense ministry says two al-Qaida suspects were killed in Shabwa province early Thursday. It didn’t say how they died.

Shabwa security and tribal officials reached by telephone told The Associated Press the two are brothers Abdullah and Mosaad Mubaarak. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the incident.

They didn’t say why they suspected it was a U.S. strike.

Yemen is home to one of the most active al-Qaida branches. The government‘s fight against the militants has been disrupted by months of mass street protests demanding President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s ouster.

    Keep firing boys, it is a target-rich environment in the Mideast and time to thin them out. Next item of business, kill Gaddafi Duck! Coulter says she want to see the Osama photo, I want to see the sequel made in Libya. It would save us billion to kill Gaddafi right now instead of dragging this “corrective action” out another 10 years. By the way, why hasn’t their been any news from Libya, Reagan neutered him in the 80′s and I think SEAL Team 6 neutered him again!!!
