Swiss Political Party Ad Features Jewish Doll With an Arrow in Its Head

The Jewish community in Switzerland is outraged after an ad for a Swiss national independence day party featured a bizarre image: A doll of a man who is wearing a yarmulke. The man, which is overtly Jewish, also has the Israeli flag painted on him and…an arrow pierced threw his head.

The image of what appears to be a dead Jew has sparked quite a bit of anger. Swiss reports claim that the GNC, a local anti-Semitic and anti-Israel group is behind the creation and dissemination of the ad. YNetNews.com has more:

“This is a call for the murder of Jews,” said Jonah Gurfinkel. Sabine Simkhovitch-Dreyfus, deputy director of the Jewish community federation said: “A red line has been crossed.

GNC member claimed the ad was directed against the Israeli government, but Dreyfus rejected his claims saying, “Sadly the arrow on the forehead does not leave a shadow of a doubt.” Jewish groups are now considering a lawsuit against the GNC.

In response, Jewish groups may consider a lawsuit.

    I am just continually shocked by all the anti-semantic acts both here in the US and through Europe. Its like a large percentage of the world has totally forgotten what in the 1940′s and history period. More over, the amount of so many people that are burying their heads and allowing such vocal outcries be accepted. Christian denominations taking such stands here in the states, the Democratic party is doing it’s best to eliminate GOD and religion from the public and in the same time note they are the party of faith and tolerance.

    Its sad that history repeats itself, especially when it comes to such calls for ethnic cleansing. I truly worry for those that are targeted through out the world by parties of such hatred. Such acts should be so clear to see but so many are blinded by distraction and apathy.

    Does nobody know thier history any longer. What did the Swiss Government do for the Nazi’s durring WW2? Second what did the Swiss bankers do for the Nazi looters who took Jewish gold and valuables from European Jews. It disgusts me how easily the human animal forgets such HUGE events in human history.     This “tolerance” PC BS has gone to far!!! No racism is not OK but at the same time society cannot tolerate provocations against one religion over any other. And there are “religions” that place themselves above all others, Islam and Atheism in particular. We must all adhere to their.peculiar beliefs? One will sue you to death the other will separate you from your head with a dull knife and post the video on the Internet.

    Tolerance is a two way street and I am tired of being held to account for the sins of my ancestors.

    This truly saddens me. Unbelievable that they can legally get away with this kind of hate speech. They are promoting another holocaust.
    When I think of Switzerland I think of the story of dear Heidi, cows and sheep in mountain meadows, or a mountain climber yodeling on mountain tops to repeat his echo for miles and miles. I think of mountain villages with Christian churches. Clean mountain creeks … I would never think of racists full of hate.
    I pray for Israel to be safe.

      This saddens me, too — much like the hate speech directed at Muslims, Jews, blacks, gays, and our constitutionally and democratically elected president and his family saddens me.
      It also saddens me that many of those who post here and have posted anti-Semitic remarks in the past are now “standing for Israel” because some huckster is telling them to. You all realize that most Israelis are Jewish, right?
      Oh, and preemptively: I have taught Holocaust studies for many, many years and I have ALWAYS “stood with Israel” — long before some rodeo clown framed it as “patriotic”.

    The Swiss Are NOT tolerant. They have a long history of anti-Semitism. During WWII the Swiss collaborated with the Hitler’s German Nazi Reich. They laundered money for the Nazi’s, converted gold bullion to various currencies in order to fund Hitler’s war effort. After the Nazi regime was defeated, Jewish survivors of the holocaust and their heirs were unable to retrieve their money from their Swiss bank accounts due to a concerted effort by Swiss bank and Government officials. It was thru the efforts of Senate Finance Committee Chairman Alfonse D’Amato in the 1980′s-1990′s that the Jewish survivors of the holocaust and their heirs received some justice.

Why do you think the european jews looked to their traditional homeland as a sanctuary instead of going back to their “homes” in France, and Germany, and Belgium and Holland, and Norway, and Italy???       BUT…the Jewish population of the US is only 6M. Of that, less than 50% are of voting age. That would be <3m potential votes if all Jews voted for the nimrod. He won by 10M votes and had 69.5M total votes. The Jews contribution was minimal at best. That leaves a whole lot of idiots left over.
