Taliban Militants Kidnap 30 Pakistani Boys

Suspected Taliban militants kidnapped a group of around 30 Pakistani boys Friday after luring them across the border into Afghanistan from Pakistan.

Insurgents initially captured around 40 children, but released those under 12, allowing them to travel back to their respective villages in the Pakistani border region of Bajur, according to its top political official, Islam Zeb.

The boys, reportedly aged 10-15, went to Afghanistan’s Kunar province Thursday after a man invited them to play in a nearby river, said Zeb and Abdul Haseeb Khan, another official. The children were clearly from villages situated very close to the border.

International Business Times claims the boys are likely being held hostage by Maulvi Faqir Muhammad. Muhammad is allegedly a prominent Taliban commander who lives under protection in the Bajur region. IBT adds:

The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, an Islamic extremist organization that isn’t directly connected to the Afghan Taliban government that collapsed in 2001, contacted the teens’ families, saying they will detain the Pakistanis indefinitely.

“These boys inadvertently crossed into Afghanistan while picnicking on the second day of Eid and were kidnapped by militants,” senior local administration official Syed Nasim was quoted as saying by Agence France Presse.

Taliban Militants Kidnap 30 Pakistani Boys

While the AP reports that the reasons behind the kidnapping remain unclear, militants often target people from opposing tribes.

Zeb said elders were negotiating with the captors to free all the boys.

Pakistani officials claim the attackers are militants who had fled army operations in Pakistan and were using Afghan soil as a refuge.

The AP contributed to this story.

In reality, it is not a stretch to suggest that young youth and children from Pakistan went to too Afghanistan on their own to sign up with Taliban to fight Americans as many muslims children dream about. CaffeineJunkie, you have time to learn. Yes, Taliban came back to Afghanistan from Pakistan after the Soviets left. But it was created/grew from Afghani young refugees in Pakistan several years prior. What naive people like you overlook, that Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan governments had/has no interest in WAHHABI theology that came from Saudi Arabia via CIA and its pet – Al-Qaeda and was taught to Taliban.

Assuming you are not a Muslim, that sounds like something a Christian would say. Muslims don’t talk like that, their prayers are not for other people, they are rote repetitive mantras to Allah. And in all seriousness, if they are Muslims, and that is almost certain, they don’t care about you or your prayers, and it really doesn’t make much sense for a non-Muslim to be so concerned about them given what they think of you, and what their religion has planned for you and your religion. All of the people involved in this incident are your mortal enemy, including the boys, who will grow up hating you with a passion you can’t really comprehend. If you want to pray for them pray that they find Christ and leave Islam and save their soul. Otherwise, don’t waste your breath. Pray for the Christians of Pakistan who are tormented on a daily basis by the Muslims.

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth crain on the just and on the unjust.

Prayer obviously is great but it has to be used properly. Modern Christian liberals in the West, and Jews as well, clueless, utterly and hopelessly clueless about Islam, at the very point they are having their head sawed off by a pious Muslim would be praying that the Muslim have the skill to operate the knife properly and that he may please Allah with his holy pious act. Or perhaps they are praying that Muslims will succeed in building many more mosques in the West, and with time eliminating freedom of religion, and with God’s will maybe one day overtaking Christianity altogether all throughout the West, won’t that be wonderful! Unbelievable. Christians and Jews should be praying that Muslims leave the West, go back to wherever they came from and leave us alone. Christians and Jews in the West should be praying for the non-Muslims in lands controlled by Islam. It is simply wrong to pray in any way shape or form for Muslims to become stronger as that only means more trouble for the non-Muslims in the lands they control. We don’t need to pray for them to die but we should pray that their plans are thwarted, that whatever troubles God brings to their lives might turn them away from Islam and to Christ, or to any non-Muslim religion or atheism, as nothing is as hostile to Jews and Christians as Islam is, nothing is as hostile to the God of the Bible as Islam is.

      PART 1:

“Ok Fred Phelps, whatever you say.”

When someone has no argument they try to make the argument personal and issue lame meaningless attacks. And for Bio this was his first sentence.

“The many Muslims I have known in places like Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Yemen, Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Afghanistan are far and away more Christian than your sad soul.”

Two issues here, first, it is as I said earlier, many people naively attempt to judge all of Islam, 1400 years worth of history, the Koran, the Hadith, Muhammad, all of it, by the few Muslims they have personally known in their own personal existence. That is idiotic. If you had known Nazis in Germany they would have no doubt been very nice neighbors, kept their yard nice, treated their dog well, etc. If you have any child molesters for neighbors chances are you think they are super nice, really great. Most people who knew mobsters in the old days said they were very nice and good for their neighborhood. The issue isn’t if someone is “nice” to you, especially with Islam! The issue is what the doctrines of Islam say and what they mean for non-Muslims. As for your truly stupendously moronically idiotic statement that Muslims are a better Christian than any other Christian – PLEASE GET A CLUE, the Koran denies that Christ died on the cross, denies that Christ rose from the dead, without that CHRISTIANITY IS FALSE, IT IS MEANINGLESS, IT IS NOTHING. (cont. Part 2)

      PART 2:

The fact is, to the extent that those people you met are NOT following the Koran, and were actually “good” people, THEY ARE TOO CHICKEN, TOO MUCH OF A WEAKLING, too pathetic, to state out loud that they reject Muhammad who was a truly evil and despicable character that no decent human being would want to be associated with.

“To say I feel sorry for you would be an understatement.” Oh boo hoo, you should feel sorry for yourself.

“And perhaps it’s un-Christian of me, but more than feeling sorry for you, I fear for the damage people like you are doing to the good name of Christ. Not just among our Muslim brothers and sisters, but among those here at home searching for truth that see the behavior of people like you and are rightly disgusted by it. @swega, Can you tell me how many children have been forced to carry out suicide attacks by Muslims in the ME vs. how many children have been forced into the military to kill/rape by Christians in Africa?

And just to correct you, I didnt say Muslims put a “higher” value on life than Christians do. Didn’t say this. I simply said they place a “high value” on life, which is absolutely true. And I also added that, in my opinion, Muslims generally place a higher value on families than is *generally* seen in the USA. Keyword “generally.” Lots of great family-focused people in the USA. Generally speaking though, not so much. With the comparison of Muslims aside, this is something most conservatives would generally agree with. What is the divorce rate? What is the out of wedlock birth rate? How many children are aborted? Are women pressured to be with their children or toss them in daycare and have a career? What about gay marriage? These days, sadly, not a whole lot of value is placed on the family. However, in the Islamic world, it’s completely the opposite.

You decry the evil actions of the Taliban while lauding and defending the same behavior yourself. Seems awfully hypocritical to me. You people who attack Muslims, I guarantee, do so because you’ve had no real experience with it and know nothing about it. That or you’re just like a Klansman, who chooses to hate someone just for the heck of it.

@AB5R, First, take a moment a re-read what I wrote. You’re all over the place. You don’t seem to have actually comprehended it. First, I am amused by your tact of completely dismissing my first-hand experiences with Islam and Muslims. It’s amazing I should even have to point out how frankly dumb this is. If one wants to learn about Catholicism do they walk into a Southern Baptist church? If I were someone who had simply visited Cairo or Dubai as part of a cruise ship tour, you might have a valid point. But I’m not that guy, and that’s why I point out that I speak Arabic. Not to brag or claim some superiority, but simply to convey the level of my experience. A tourist in the Middle East could see a group of Arab men passionately talking and think they’re having some fanatical jihadist argument plotting a terror attack. I know the language, I’ve read the Quran, I read Arabic newspapers, I can listen to Al Jazeera and other outlets in Arabic. And I have studied the history of that part of the world, I graduated from a university in the Middle East even. My simple message is that you’re wrong. If you’d like to have a more lengthy discussion outside this forum to go over specific history or whatever, I’m happy to do so. I suspect though that you have no clue and are just regurgitating drivel you read on the internet or some Robert Spencer book.

@AB5R, With that said, I’ll address a few of your points. You talk about the historical context of Islam vs modern Islam and Muslims. First question, are you saying modern Islam doesn’t matter? Just curious. Regardless, by comparison what if we apply the same rules to say Judaism and Christianity? Ever heard of the Dark Ages? A lot of evil has been done in the same of “Christianity.” And in fact, there are a zillion web sites dedicated to this run by atheists. Likewise Judaism is not without blemish, just read the Old Testament.

As a correction, I did not say Muslims were more “Christian” than Christians. I said many of the muslims I know are more “christian” than YOU. The word “Christian” has multiple meanings, one being those who literally believe in the divinity of Christ, the other being a category of behavior. Ever heard the phrase, “…not very Christian of you.” Obviously my intended meaning is the latter. While Muslims don’t worship Christ, they do believe in him, and more to the point, Islam and the Quran teaches many of the very same principles that Christ taught, such as the scripture I referenced from Matthew 5.

TheReligionOfPeace.com, a site I have visited many times, is shamefully biased hate-driven propaganda. The vast majority of incidents they catalog have nothing to do with Islam at all, except Muslims just happen to be involved. Using the same approach we could tally every death in every war in history and blame it on Chris

Only want to respond to one thing right now, but need to correct at least one of the glaringly absurd comments from Bio. When I said that your suggestion that any Muslim would be a better Christian than any Christian – I WAS NOT SAYING “ANY” IN THE SENSE OF ALL – I WAS LITERALLY SAYING ANY, AS IN EVEN ONE. That is, there is NO Muslim, anywhere who has ever lived or ever will live who is a better Christian than even the WORST Christian who has ever lived. Muslims, per the Koran, reject everything that Christians stand for and the whole reason Christianity exists, in Christ rising from the dead. Also, Muhammad, in breaking ALL TEN of the Ten Commandments, yet continuing to be the perfect example for man for Muslims, proves how totally degenerate Islam is, how impossible it is for any Muslim to be a better Christian than ANY, EVEN ONE, Christian.

@AB5R, More of the same. I‘m sure you would also argue that Mormons aren’t really “Christian.” Are all buddhists evil too? Again, re-read my post. I did not use the word “Christian” in the sense you suggest. And, btw, you’re wrong about Islam. All 10 of the Ten Commandments are in the Quran and they believe in them too. They believe in Moses, etc. And they do believe in Christ and his teachings. So for you to say that Muslims “reject everything that Christians stand for” is patently false. You are completely correct that Muslims do not worship Christ, and they don’t worship Muhammed either, they worship God, or Allah (the Arabic word for “God”). In the sense of behavior though, there’s a long list of Muslims that are more “Christian” than an equally-long list of Christians. And obviously by “Christian” I mean actually following the teachings of Christ, ie acting Christ-like in how they live their lives. I do know though that, unfortunately, many “Christians” have a “my Jesus is better than yours” attitude. They like to monopolize words like “Christian” and appoint themselves as the final authority on who is actually saved or not, act as judge and jury. These are the same folks that say Mormons aren’t Christian. The same folks that say babies who die are “in sin” and headed to an eternal BBQ pit. I‘m sure you’re one of them. Whatever. You’re a hateful person and your image of God is equally hateful.

My question exactly. It’s just a matter of time before they do something that prompts the better among us to get rid of them completely once and for all.
