    Boycotts really don’t work on a large scale. People who find The Apprentice entertaining are going to watch it no matter who says what, either for or against. Calling for them is just a way to get in front of a camera and have nothing made into something for all of sixty seconds. Then it’s gone.

      I do the reverse: a buycott. If a company is boycotted by Lefties, I’ll buy their products in place of my usual. For sausages, for example, it’s now Johnsonville since the unions are boycotting them. Of course I won‘t watch The Apprentice because that’s not my interest. I also don‘t think The Apprentice is so big of a deal in the first place that they’ll lose or gain any viewers just because Van Jones got a sound bite somewhere.

      Rush Limbaugh always said that any criticism of Obama would be termed as “racist”. I didn’t believe him. I was wrong.

      But I do wish that Trump would have put the energy into discussing Obama’s Socialist/Communist links instead of the Birther issue. That would have been more in line with his background and would have given that issue a toe-hold rather than this Birther issue.

      I love the Apprentice, I have watched it religiously since season 1. Whether Trump runs or doesn’t run, wins or loses, if I vote for him or not, I will ALWAYS watch the Apprentice. This is capitalism 101, you put out a good product people will buy it, this is a good show, period. I don’t pick where I spend my time or money on whether or not I agree with people politically, I pick where I spend my time or money based on how good is the product (with a few exceptions, but for the most part,). I don’t agree with boycotts.

      I agree, Trump had a good reputation and was considered credible by many on both sides. I’m afraid he tarnished that reputation with the whole “birther” issue. If he would have talked more about Obama’s communist ties while he was still credible people may have seen the truth. Now if he starts on that he won’t be taken seriously because he has already been pegged a “conspiracy theorist”.

      BocaBaby: Although I agree with your assessment and sentiments, Trump does cause me a little hesitation because he does tend to be somewhat autocratic. The ability to listen and listen with the intent to glean is always crucial and I’m not certain that Trump would listen to anyone.. lol
