Tea Partier Herman Cain Announces Presidential Exploratory Committee

Back in September, we told you that Herman Cain might become a household name by the time the 2012 presidential election came around. Today, he took one step closer to making that a reality.

(Read our previous story on Herman Cain.)

Cain, a popular figure on the Tea Party speaking circuit, officially formed a presidential exploratory committee, allowing him to raise money and test the waters. Despite being a small fish in those waters compared to Tea Party giant Sarah Palin, he’s confident he has a chance. He told CNN the doubters motivate him:

Transcript via CNN:

“People who say that Herman Cain has no chance of winning the nomination for the Republican Party or win the in presidency – I simply say thank you. Because all my life I have been in situations where I wasn’t supposed to become VP of Pillsbury, I wasn‘t supposed to be able to turn Godfather’s Pizza around. I wasn’t supposed to succeed in climbing the corporate ladder in corporate America. So to the people who say I don’t have a chance I say, thank you. Because that inspires me.”

On the new committee’s website, Cain pens a letter to supporters saying that while “the American Dream is under attack,“ America ”is still an exceptional nation.”

“Fellow patriots, now more than ever, we must come together to take a stand for the future of America,” he writes. “I make this promise to you as I deliberate the ways in which I can do my part to restore and protect the American Dream: I would be the voice of the American People.

Cain, a Georgia native, is the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza and a past chairman and member of the board of directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

I very much look forward to his contribution in the debates, and the campaign trail. I believe this si largely the extent of his ambitions at the moment (see some books get some notoriety – try to knock some sense into the black supporters of the left who have destroyed all hope in the hood and their ‘projects’), unless he wants to sit around in the Vice Presidents office for a few years.

He is truly Worthy of whichever and whatever his goals are. A debate where he destroys the idiocy of the Soros’ puppets would rival the ratings of the Super Bowl.

They should put the debates on Pay Per View!

Herman is THE candidate as far as I’m concerned. Some of us were pushing him way back before he made the ‘dark horse’ comments… I can tell you the best endorsement for Herman’s integrity and principles… go pull up the announcement he did and watch Neil Cavuto’s face. I thought Neil was going to cry. Neil wouldn‘t be all up in the air for Herman if he didn’t believe in him. Watch and see who falls in behind him next…. For him to come out and say he‘s wanting to run it’s got to be as much that he’s got money to back him up as well as the people with their endorsements.

If Beck does a fly by and endorses his best buddy’s son (RINO progressive) it will be unpleasant. Cain will win people’s hearts and souls.

He is able to connect to the people. He has the know how to turn this country around whether he has had political experince or not . I will be paying attention to him and others in the next year. He might have the ability to bring the races together instead of dividing them . I will keep an open mind and make my descions when the time comes.

Cain is, above all, a Godly man. I think he would be a great leader – however, with the current corruption that infects our admin, and has infected it for a very long time, I’m not sure if “they” would allow him to win – much less allow him to do good things for this country. This admin’s agenda is clearly charted – and I just believe that only God Himself can intervene on our behalf.

@ Ghandi . . . if Harry does that, I doubt Herman will be as understanding as Obama was. I forgot what Herman sounds like when he’s taking issue with something. I‘m almost ABSOLUTELY sure Herman will give Harry a piece of his mind and also tell him he’s dreamin’ if Harry believes there are no illegal immigrants in Nevada.

Yes, indeed, it’ll be nice to have a president who knows a thing or two about running a business! And a MATH major too?? Well, if we can’t have Walter Williams . . . (why the heck isn’t Dr. Williams’ book available at Barnes & Noble! — finally a brand new book from him).

I hope that’s not true about another black man not having a shot at the presidency any time soon. I didn’t want to vote for the first black president just because he was black. That wasn’t enough. Now the first CONSERVATIVE black president? Now we‘re talkin’. And shame on the likes of liberals and MSNBC if they try to drag him down.

I’ve heard that before and I do so hope that people will look beyond the outside of the package. We need the antidote to Obamao and Herman Cain or Allen West would be just that, regardless of color, but maybe better in the long run BECAUSE of skin tone. We need healing and these are AMERICANS before they are anything else, which has been a big part of the problem this time around. (NO! I’m talking about worldview, I’m talking about American principles and values here, not Kenya!)

He was a ground troop commander in Iraq and given an order to go to a place he knew held an ambush so severe that he knew he would suffer horrendous casualties within his ranks. He refused orders, KNOWING he would be disciplined, and the end result was 100% survival for his troops. Allen West is a hero to his troops for disobeying orders, based on what he knew on the ground, andsaving the lives of his men under him. THAT is the mark of a true leader, and if you disagree with me, just ask the families and loved ones of the troops under him in the operation. The most important indicator of Mr. Cain’s viability will be the reaction from the left.

The more they hate him, then the closer to conservative values he must be..

The left will do their homework on any candidate from the right, expecially one espousing conservative principles. If Herman Cain has any progressive skeletons in his closet the left will drag them out and flog him with them. If they simply try to dismiss him, demean him, or smear him then there’s probably something there.

THE REPUBLIC IS IN CRISIS :
A champion of freedom, reminiscent of George Washington, will be necessary for the Republic to survive. This new leader must fulfill Ayn Rand’s definition of a “Radical for Capitalism” and will have to be a charismatic speaker to Garner the popular support required to save the Republic. At this time there’s no one on the national scene that fulfills these specifications.

Two personalities that show promise are Herman Cain and Marco Rubio. Both of these men are excellent communicators but they have yet to earn extensive public support or demonstrate that they are truly “Radicals for Capitalism”. Only time will tell if either of these men has the philosophy and the charisma to save the Republic. Perhaps someone, unrecognized today, will rise to the occasion.

I love conservative Afro-American candidates. Herman is great. So is Allen West. I want to see Obama debate THEM.

Its time to take back America with humor. The Left wants us angry, lets laugh at them.
This animated web movie exposes the insanity of the Progressives with great humor and gives Americans a new symbol to rally around — the (no) “head up the butt” person. Please feel free to save the image to your desktop from the movie link page.

I’d rather have a super-smart private sector man with excellent advisors than a career poli-turd. And don‘t forget his Vice President will come from a political background as well so he’ll have help on that end too. I’d rather have him as Vice President, with Mike Pence as President, maybe, and after 8 years of that, then 8 years of Cain Presidency. That scenario should complete flush the American toilet of all this socialist crap we’ve had the last 10 years. YES, “10” years. @ POVERTY…Althought I agree that would make the absolute SMARTEST ticket possible, I agrre with my Grampa that Newt is unelectable. WAY too many skeletons there, and too bad for that. Also something to consider, you MUST have a split-ticket regionally to win the states required. That’s why I like Pence/Cain. Cain will actually, in a national venue, sway a lot of the black vote in every state, maybe as much as 10-20%. That would be enough for a landslide victory.
And BTW, for all you lefties looking for a place hear to pull your race card out, what I meant was Cain’s message, and presence will make more blacks see the truth, that liberalism seeks to enslave then to the State. He is THAT good and THAT smart.

Heres why we need a new LOOK in DC and Mr Cain fits that Calling.

Wal-Mart vs. The Morons (aka the Politicians)

      1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart Every hour of every day.

      2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

      3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

      4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

      5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world’s largest private employer, and most speak English.

      6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.

      7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years.

      8. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.

      9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

      10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.

      11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth’s population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

      12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.

You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy.

This should be read and understood by all Americans Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!!

To the President and all 535 voting members of the Legislature, both parties

It is now official you are ALL corrupt morons:

A.. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.

b.. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.

c.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.

d.. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor” and they only want more.

e.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.

f.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.

g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every “government service” you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND NOW YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM ??

MAYBE WE OUGHT TO KICK YOUR FAT OVER PAID REAR ENDS OUT OF OFFICE AND HIRE WAL MART TO RUN THE GOVERNMENT ???

WAL MART SEEMS TO KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS…….WHY DON‘T YOU GUYS JUST ADMIT IT’S WAY BEYOND YOUR PAY GRADE, AND QUIT?

Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it will end up in the e-mails of some of our “duly elected’ !!
