A Missouri man is reportedly receiving threatening messages after his company, Really Big Coloring Books, published “The Tea Party Coloring Book for Kids.”
Wayne Bell of Clayton, Mo., says he‘s receiving harsh messages from people apparently angry over his company’s latest work, a coloring book which tells the story of today’s tea party movement with passages like “When taxes are too high, the high tax takes away jobs and freedom.”
“Nobody said ‘Wayne Bell, I’m coming for you and I’m going to do this to you’,” Bell told local CBS affiliate KMOX. “But when people say to me (online) ‘We’re going to give you a chloroform headlock’, or they say ‘Let’s try the inner-city ice cream truck method on this guy’…I mean, we’re reading this in the blogosphere.
“I don’t even know what the ‘inner-city ice cream truck’ thing means.”
“We’re not really making a political statement,” Bell said, adding that his company also publishes coloring books on the Rockettes, Cirque du Soleil and President Obama.
As a result, Bell has been forced to keep his store’s doors locked with a “Please Knock” sign.
“We have talked with our legal department, and they said ‘Hey, what can you do? You’re in the publishing business, you made a book that’s political, get over it!’,” Bell said.
On the bright side, Bell says it’s quickly become his store’s all-time best-seller.

Posted on September 30, 2010 at 7:53pmHahahaha… Love the “let me google that for you” site, nothing like a video tutorial for what these days seems like such a drop dead simple thing to do.
It reminds me of an old ad from 1907 where they proceeded to describe how one would dial a three digit phone number on a rotary dial phone – “insert index finger into the rotor’s opening above the number 3, using your index finger rotate the dial clockwise until it reaches the stop then release”… and so on.

Posted on September 30, 2010 at 6:33pmLet me get this straight. A man publishes Tea Party-themed coloring books -along with Obama-themed and others- and gets online threats. Freedom of the Press? Freedom of Speech? Death threats? By whom? Folks who think the Tea Party movement is filled with violent racists?

Posted on September 30, 2010 at 6:41pmYes, I know that using that quote to paraphrase might cross the line to some extent. But I feel that this administration and their cronies truly want to rid America of , well… Americans. I could not have said it better. If we don’t do the heavy lifting ( throwing the progressives, and communists out) who will? First, we have to see that we stand WITH the Creator, not in competition with Him. It is just as true with True Patriots and the Tea Party, as it is with marriages….What GOD has Joined Together, let NO man put assunder.

A fly over which includes an air drop of lets say 100,000 copies (with extra thick lines so they can say within the lines this time) on the gathered (forced attendee’s) crowd. On a positive note we just had an incident in the Chicago area yesterday where an elderly woman shot and wounded somebody that had vandalized her home and was threatening her life while throwing bricks at her. They did the correct thing and filed assault charges against her attackers instead of playing the BS PC game and charging her with something for defending herself. Before the unconstitutional gun restrictions were overturned by the supreme court the woman would have been charged. Conceal carry bans are equally unconstitutional, they will eventually get tossed as well.

Guns don’t kill people, people kill people! A gun is an equalizer nothing more. If you take a 250 lb muscular man and pit him against a 95 lb woman the woman won’t have a chance. However if you arm them both with pistols you even the playing field and may even give the woman a slight advantage as she will be a smaller target while the 250 lb man will be a larger target.

But, the opposite is true. The “ Tea Party” movement’s agenda is based on restoration of the basic constitutional principles of our nation. If the left had it‘s way the Constitution of the United States of America would be rewritten to favor and enforce marxism and socialism on all it’s citizens and establsih a “gulag ” for all dissidents who don‘t comply to it’s ideology.
Report Post »Peters
Posted on October 1, 2010 at 8:00amThe reality of this is found in considering that over decades of time the left has come to believe they own the information highway that leads directly to your child’s mind. It is part of their master plan as they’ve come to know that in America they first must educate liberalism into the culture as it makes it most palatable for their socialism to follow.
Their brand of liberalism, their socialism, they know cannot exist in the company of opposing and proven ideologies. Traditionally in America, these are invasive and aggressive species of people and groups that only view the world from a single perspective. Narcissism is their predominant character trait and note that it’s very collective in its deceptions. And then understand how liberals interwove “political correctness” into this equation and you will begin to see the depths of this illness, their narcissism . . . America’s illness. The goal of theirs is that you will only speak of things and in ways that are conducive to their master plan, the master collective narcissism that liberalism is today. Tea Party coloring books are simply unacceptable.
And consistent with this narcissism, the left always feigns the feelings of being violated and shocked by you; it’s appalling to them that someone would attempt to educate America’s children with an opposing ideology to liberal thought. Liberalism to them, is everything that’s good with the world; just look at what they say about themselves, and then about you and I. But in this, their inability to articulate their benevolence or liberal accomplishments, they wear and showcase bumper sticker slogans that ironically say things like “I think therefore I am liberal.”
The children’s minds you see are theirs . . . it’s the key to their political future the same way immigration law is and amnesty is as well. They know that most children do not question, they conform; and as such, they are viewed as a shapeable future voting bloc. Children’s minds must be cherished and nurtured, groomed into all that is good with the world as narcissistic liberals see it to be.
The simple truth of the matter is liberals see the Tea Party, the adults, the parents as being abusers of their children’s mental wellbeing exposing them to truths that lead to dangerous conservative principles that perpetuates the American politic with traditional alternatives to what’s being taught in our institutions and schools by, liberals. This makes for questioning that liberals do not have answers for. In response, liberals, to the controlling narcissists, the Tea Party is lost in their ignorance of America’s tragic and destructive history, in their “failed ways of the past” as they are not “enlightened.” You, we are not “enlightened.”
To liberals, this coloring book is child abuse. Tea Party America, you have no business teaching your children the ideals of small government and low taxes, respect for the Constitution and the US Flag, it’s history and its truths . . . You are in violation of liberal principles. The children are theirs . . . so they think.
And then, is the GOP listening to this? It is unequivocally part of our long term strategy if you embrace it correctly; if you understand what to do with it.
