Tea Party to GOP: ‘Find Jesus’…Stop Spending or ‘Watch Your Butt’

The true irony in all this is that Barack O’Barry is the driving force behind the Tea Party and Left refuses to realize this. The Tea Party will only get stronger and more involved the more O’Barry and the GOP ignore the American people.

      Nobody is fooled. Nobody.

Tea Party activists are the same tired Bible thumpers who co-opted the GOP and turned the once respectable (if fundamentally flawed) conservative movement into a 24/7 evangelical revival.

They screech about lower taxes and smaller government but their ultimate goal is to turn the election process into a vehicle for theocracy with a hard-bitten Jesus at the wheel.

I think it was great. I agree with what they said and how they said it. No political correctness. Straight and honest. These were comments even pc spin doctors can understand. We need more people to say what they honestly feel the way they honestly feel it. They did not make personal attacks. They just told the politicians to do their jobs or they would vote them out. And told the politicians that consider themselves untouchable aristocrats to listen, do what their bodes want (meaning the People) or those gentlemen will work to get the old politicians out of office. Sounds good to me.

Speaking as a firm believer in Jesus Christ and Christianity, I think that was a bit of a silly comment made on Texas Tea Party Organizer Phillip Denise’s part. It sounded like a remark you’d hear a Youth Pastor make to generate a chuckle while addressing a middle school group. And now, we’re going to be cursed to hearing that segment over and over on mainstream media.

Byzantine-Catholic @ exactly…it is the time we realize what is really the truth. I hope that the tea party will really come out in this year, and into 2012…we will have to really make a showing. They think that we are all asleep since NOV. Stop spending, cut entitlements, make this poot heads go out and get a J.O.B. You’d be surprised how quick these people on unemployment would get a JOB if unemployment was cut out. I have people call me all the time, and they say…”You don’t need any help do you?“ ” I am on unemployment and I have to call, but I really am not looking for a JOB”….Just keep drawing and drawing. sometimes we have to take a JOB that is paying less than what we think we are worth. I am worth a LOT more than I am paid, or at least I think so, but I am happy that I have a JOB at my age 60 and I work everyday, and I am GOOD at my JOB…I make a bit less than I did 12 years ago…but it is keeping me going, and I am helping my grandkids…or helping to give them things they wouldn’t have otherwise…Trying to build up some so we don’t have to worry about it when we can no longer work. NEVER drawn a dime of welfare, or food stamps, or any other government aide.

      Can I go too?

      He went to France too

      I think that‘s Paul’s book too

Secondly, too means excessively when it precedes an adjective or adverb.

      I’m too tired

      He’s walking too quickly

      I ate too much

      PERHAPS YOU MEAN TWO?

      Two is a number.

If thats the case then in your world you are right. Unfortunatly in a republic special intrest (lobbyist) and patronage are a real problem. We will never be able to completly fix that problem. We can make it more difficult for special intrest to influence our fedreral gov if we get rid of the 18th amendment. If our senators were elected by our state legeslaters lobbyist would have a much harder time lobbying 10,000+ individual legeslaters 400+ house members than they would with just 500 and some odd congressmen in DC.

BTW – I have never been to a TEA Party meeting, but until some other party proves the will run this country on Constitutional principles, I will stand with the “Bible Thumpers.” Curious. I‘ve been in church my entire life and I’ve never seen anyone “thump” a Bible, nor have I seen anyone with a Bible in one hand and a gun in the other.

      And yes:

This goes far beyond “pot calling the kettle black” and is more in line with “PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN! @KILLA I am disappointed, unless this is just another hijacked poster name that a LOT of us have suffered under. Before, you sounded like a reasonable type person with disagre-ances, yes, but still sound-minded objections. This is just rediculous and crazy-minded BS. Not content to your context.

I have to believe KILLA’S name was jacked, just like so many of ours was.

Do NONE of you know what the expression ‘Find Jesus” means? It has NOTHING to do with religion.. It means, Get sober, pay attention, straighten up or you are in deep doo doo”. Seriously. HOW STUPID ARE YOU LEFT WING RETARDS ANYWAY?!?!?!?

The tea party crowd does not “reach across party lines,” as they’d like Independent voters to believe.

They are mired in fanatical dogma up to their self-righteous asses. Beneath those funny hats are minds that view “freedom of religion” as compulsory Christianity.

To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln, they promote a government of the Bible, by the Bible, and for the Bible.

The Tea Partiers are nothing but American Ayatollahs proclaiming to be doing the “Lords work”.

When Progressives (communists) start listing “illegal aliens” in the telephone books, it will be EASY to find “Jesus”.

sheriff BART [look at drunk in jail cell]: “Are we awake?”
town drunk JIM [hanging upside down off cot]: “We’re not sure. Are we … black?”
      sheriff BART: “Yes, we are.”
town drunk JIM: “Then we’re awake … but we’re very puzzled.”

KILLA is the idiot!! What is your problem with this clip? I am not a racist and I’m a tea party member. I don’t belong to any tea party political party, I’m just a typical tea party member. You don‘t know me so don’t make blanket comments about groups that include individuals you know nothing about! All I heard this gentleman say was that we will watch and hold accountable the people we put in office and that if they don‘t do their job they’ll be looking for a new one. I think that is only the responsible thing to do.
