Tebow Teammate Knowshon Moreno Charged With DUI Driving 70MPH — License Plate Reads ‘SAUCED’

On the football field Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno is known for doing damage while bulldozing between offensive tackles and blistering speed while catching passes out of the back field. Now with the news of a recent run-in with police, Denver drivers may be more afraid of the damage Moreno can do on the highway. The Denver Post reports that the teammate to the mighty Tim Tebow was pulled over while driving under the influence in his Bentley 70 mph in a construction zone. The Post reports on what may have tipped police off to Moreno’s condition behind the wheel:
“Moreno, 24, was pulled over Feb. 1 while driving a Bentley at about 70 mph on Interstate 25 near Quincy Avenue and Union Avenue, according to a report by Denver television station KDVR-31. The posted speed limit in the area usually is 65 mph but is currently posted at 45 mph because it’s a construction zone.
Police gave Moreno a breath test and a field sobriety test and took the former Georgia star to a detox facility. He was charged with DUI, failing to have insurance and careless driving. He is scheduled to be arraigned March 2, court records state.
The personalized license plate on the car Moreno was driving read ‘SAUCED,’ according to KDVR-31.”
The Broncos released a statement indicating that the team takes the incident very seriously and plans to continue to monitor the matter.

Is it because the media will try everything possible to print something negative about Tebow or anyone who proudly professes their Christianity? If Tebow did not play for the Broncos. The story would have been simply titled “Bronco’s Player Charged with DUI”!

The only one bringing Tebow into this story is the Blaze. So, according to your logic, the Blaze must be a liberal piece of trash trying to bring down Tebow because of his faith.

Posted on February 9, 2012 at 10:01amThe writer of the article knew that starting the title with “Knowshon Moreno” would not attract attention to his work, so he associated Tim Tebow, who I think is most likely a tea-totaller, with a story about driving while under the influence, to increase the number of hits on his article…..a shameful tactic, but hopefully one that he will reconsider in the future if he has any class at all.
