Ted Kaczynski Flaunts His 8 Life Sentences in Harvard Alumni Magazine

Harvard University, one of America’s most well-respected institutions of higher learning, has just hit a public relations nightmare pertaining to possibly the most infamously evil person to ever bear a Harvard diploma – 90′s domestic terrorist Theodore “Ted” Kaczynski, known in most circles as the Unabomber.

There’s no doubt that Harvard has had its share of alumni who have directly impacted American history, from John Adams to Rutherford B. Hayes to Russ Feingold to Barack Obama. And in its nearly 400 years of existence, Harvard was almost sure to let at least one catastrophically bad apple in. But as this story shows, the problem with Kaczynski is that he won’t shut up.

Kaczynski, who hails from the Harvard University class of 1962, would have had his 50th Reunion this year if he were a free man. But as he’s not a free man, Kaczynski came up with a way to attend the reunion in spirit. That is, he submitted a record of his accomplishments to Harvard University’s alumni magazine, which apparently someone on staff thought it was a good idea to print. The Daily Mail reports on the rest:

His name is nestled anonymously in with his other classmates, just above Joseph Born Kadane, a renowned statistics professor at Carnegie Mellon University.

Kaczynski lists his occupation, ‘Prisoner,‘ and includes the title of his 2010 book ’Technological Slavery,’ which includes his infamous anti-technology and anti-industrial manifesto, under ‘Publications.’

Under ‘Awards,‘ he notes ’eight life sentences, issued by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, 1998.’

If you want to see what the remarkably morbid entry looks like in full color, his fellow Harvard graduate Alex Taussig took the trouble of tweeting the photo, calling it “morbidly amusing”:

Notice that? He lists his 8 life sentences as “awards.” Someone has a very skewed perception of what it means to be honored by society.

    More for the comically ignorant (the entire Manifesto is leftist bashing just like this):

    Words like “self-confidence,“ ”self-reliance,“ ”initiative”,
    “enterprise,“ ”optimism,” etc. play little role in the liberal and
    leftist vocabulary. The leftist is anti-individualistic,
    pro-collectivist. He wants society to solve everyone’s needs for them,
    take care of them. He is not the sort of person who has an inner sense
    of confidence in his own ability to solve his own problems and satisfy
    his own needs. The leftist is antagonistic to the concept of
    competition because, deep inside, he feels like a loser.

    Dumb as a box of rocks right wing freakos that never ever think for themselves, just follow the party line.

    It’s easy to condemn Kaczynski. Easy…. and very superficial.
    But ask yourself: WHY Tadeusz (his real Polish name) used such crazy and seemingly ruthless methods and what for?
    Nobody was listening then, nobody is listening now, but yes, technology not only brings something useful; technology also at the same time brings something very destructive and extremely dangerous for the future of any overly-“technologized” society.
    Look how our children forgot to read, forgot to think (even the very participation in all those “Occupy Everything” movements shows a complete brainlessness)!
    Kids from the toddler age can push computer and TV buttons, but don’t know the multiplication table, can’t build a simplest toy by themselves from scratch: everything is bought, ready-to-use. Just not ready to think.
    A gloomy influence of technology, nobody wants to listen about…
    Tadeusz tried to force us to pay attention. Of course, his attempts were dictated by his despair, hence – cruelty. But the essence remains…

    Burn Harvard to hell!

    I’ll never forget the morning I woke up in Great Falls MT. I was stationed at Malmstrom AFB when my roommate woke me up saying “THEY CAUGHT THE UNA BOMBER!!!”

    Previously, we had been receiving bomb threats from the militia up there. Bldg 500 to be exact. Personally, it used to piss me off getting those threats, because I hate it when I have tense people around me. And trust me, the cops up there were very tense. It‘s one thing to be aware of your surroundings and being alert to what’s going on. It’s another to be so worried, that if anything at all happened, somebody was crying to a higher up about something relatively petty. But as soon as they caught him, it was like a huge weight lifted off our shoulders and the treats ceased quite a bit.

    Funny thing about his capture, if the militia hadn’t been screwing around with Bldg 500, the FBI would have never figured out where that crazy SOB was. Found him holed up in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. In Great Falls, the ‘middle of nowhere’ is truly the middle of nowhere, in every sense. If I put you in the middle of one of those cross roads in the wild, you’d never figure out where you were without a compass or some kind of land mark near by. Only folk that lived out there forever knew where they were. As an Airman, you were screwed if your buddies pulled a prank on you, leaving you out there and you had no contact…

    The cat is out of the bag as far as technology. The Science behind transhumanism is gaining popularity among the elitists in the military. A desire of “Super Soldiers” will fuel the research that will eventually redefine what it is to be human. Through nano technology ,genetic engineering , robotics, bio mechanical, artificial intelligence, memory reloads, and life extensions technology it will be increasingly harder for the old school of thought to prevail. With the National Security interests in these technologies it will be impossible to reverse course and the dark usage of this tech will out weigh any benifits that could be had because of global elitists. Life extension tech will not be for me and you. Sounds like stuff out of Star Wars but GRIN Technologies and DARPA are full steam ahead with these projects unbeknownst to us. It will test the fabric of religion and humanity, and has dark implications on the souls of man. Kaczynski was a fool to think killing a couple of scientists would slow it down. The timeline is decades rather than centuries. Did you really think toilet seats and hammers cost $500
