‘Tell On Me’: Israeli Music Video Satirizes White House Role in National Security Leaks Controversy

Hebrew sign behind Israeli military “hacker” in the satire says “Remember! The Enemy is Listening”
As the investigation over the recent leaks of classified national security information gets underway, the Israeli comedy group Latma has produced a biting video in English satirizing the issue, complete with prisoners tortured in Iranian jail, an Israeli military hacker and an Al-Qaeda middle man.
Titled, “Tell on Me: The ballad of US agents,” the Latma YouTube entry presents, “A song to the Leaker-in-Chief from America’s friends, based on the immortal song of Ben E. King, ‘Stand by Me.’”
Spoof video: The two outed spies commiserate in Iranian jail. A former inmate scribbled "Allahu Akbar" in Arabic on the wall.
Bethany Mandel of Commentary writes, “In Israel, it appears the public’s mind is made up about where the leak originated and how it will affect the already rocky relationship between Israel and the U.S.”
The story line goes like this: An American secret agent and an Al-Qaeda informant — the middle man that led the Navy SEALs to Osama bin Laden no less — share a cell in Iran. The middle man says President Obama called to tell him, “Abdul, you’re going to be a very famous man” and then he turned Abdul in. “People had to know details of the operation. Otherwise, why would they reelect him? I’m so glad I could be helpful to great President Obama,” quips Abdul.
His cellmate says, “He turned me in too.”
And then they break into song whose lyrics include:
No matter what you did for this world. Somebody must tell on you.
Much more important than your deed. The president has a need.
And he just had to tell on me.
And:
I was proud to be exposed by your excellency.
I just wish you gave me time to flee.

The world was laughing at him BEFORE this video. He is a weak whiny skinny inexperienced kid who acts like a dictator in his own country and grovels at the feet of other world leaders. The military using Bush’s intelligence kill Bin Laden – NOT Obama and THAT is the only feather in his cap for almost 4 years. Everything else has been a disaster.

I am SHOCKED YouTube didn’t remove it. Youtube is rightfully called a “Tube” because they situated that tube so far up Obama’s butt, they need oxygen and flashlights to live. He’s singing about when the Americans leaked that Israel has a secret air base in Azerbaijan (Baku) and might attack Iran from the north. That destroyed the surprise and now Israel needs to plan something else. probably won’t let the Americans know this time, like we did in 1981 when we kept the Iraq nuclear facility attack from our best friends, the Americans (God knows we paid for keeping a secret from you – Reagan was furious at us…).

If there was not a doctor in a hellhole prison in Pakistan because of the criminals running our country right now, known as the Obama administration, and all of the other dangerous consequences because of their actions, this video would make me laugh because they get it that Obama is such a narcissist and only wants to keep himself in power. I saw the doctors family once on camera and heard about the truly awful things they and their loved one in jail have been suffering now. They were pleading for help. This doctor should have been given some of that reward money offered for the information leading to Osama bin Ladens whereabouts and kill or capture status but not before arranging for the safety of him and his family members. What an outrageous betrayal of somebody who believed that they were helping us and thought well enough about America that he never saw THIS coming. I think about him and his family sometimes and if there is no one behind the scenes working on behalf of his release and safety then shame on this POS for yet another unforgivable and heinous act. Please people pray for them!

Obama may be responsible for a nuclear attack because he stopped the Israelis at every turn to take out Iran’s nuclear capabilities… Can you imagine the guilt and shame of all our representatives because they didn’t do more to stop him if 3 of our cities are hit and millions of people killed..It is a sobering reality!

This is an absolutely true story. The Israeli people still like the American people. The American administration, well, not so much. One of the funny Tee shirts I saw was of an F 18 with the star of David on its tail with the caption, “Don’t worry America. Israel has your back.” These people know who they are and they are not apologetic about it. Americans used to have that confidence and resolve. After a generation of progressivism, well, not so much.
