Ten Random Videos From NYC ‘Days of Rage’ (#5 Involves ‘Heart Holding’)

This post is just a collection of videos — for our main post on the Days of Rage protest click here.

The most important thing I observed in hours of watching the Livestream feed of the Days of Rage protesters? The terrific incongruence of the advertisement that would pop up every minute or so. You will see it a lot in the next series of videos despite my best efforts to click it away. The ad, for Natural Instincts, offers “shiny, healthy looking” hair color.

This is not usually a priority for anarchists.

The woman in this first video, for example, would never consider the use of Natural Instincts.  She might liken it to waterboarding if some oppressive system sentenced her to hair coloring by force.  Not that we can really see her hair.  She’s rocking a couple of scarves.  I’m sure the PLO appreciates the keffiyah.

Be warned — some of the clips included anarchist expletives.

Another anarchist expletive is used in this clip. And I think you will see that it’s essential for the man to make his point. A focus for the protesters is the famous Wall Street Bull statue in Bowling Green Park near Wall Street. The statue, by the way, does have a proper name — Charging Bull.  This protester is determined to make a brilliant connection to what Wall Street produces and what the bull might produce if it were actually alive:

Bearded man will be back in a second with more “thoughts.” But let begin with protester’s catchy new chant:

If you need to write that down he said: “It’s not that complicated.”

The events have been multi-generational:

Some of you who saw the picture in our main post of some protesters doing yoga have probably been wondering if we have video of that.  Unfortunately we do. Though at this point in the session it is more of a meditation time that involves something called a “heart holding ritual” which is an actual thing:

This guy is very worried about the Rockefellers and Rothschilds. And he’s very geeked on Ron Paul. Ron Paul rage in the house! Plus guy number three in this clip wants a society based on empathy!

Sadly, I did not grab this next video fast enough for you to hear about the guy’s plans for a conga line dance around The Bull. But he still shows plenty of team spirit:

Then it came time for the big speeches. And right out of the gate there was some buzz kill about disagreements between the various anarchists. That’s the tough thing about being anarchists — there is a general lack of operational efficiency and shiny hair. And you will learn that you could be a “general lefty” and be just as welcome as the Communists and Marxists!

    Everyone protesting CAPITALISM needs to be naked and get rid of all protest accessories because they were all produced by CAPITALISM. Even if their clothes are gubment handouts, where did the money come from to make or purchase those gobment items??? from the taxes of CAPITALISTS.

    “Day of Rage” Obama re-election team in disguise? “Day of Rage” is doomed for certain failure because “Day of Rage” won’t resonate with average people. Unlike protesters who call activists to action and take pictures with their cell phones, the genuinely poor had their cell phones shut off by not being able to pay the bills and their rusted out vehicles repo’ed.

    Trying to survive does not give them the luxury of covering their faces and going out on the Protest de Jour. No matter how loud the call to action, Occupying Wall Street is not something you’re likely to do if you don’t know where the next meal is coming from to feed your children.

    Marxists, ever ready to exploit the masses, are out to lunch on this one.

    Unlike millions of the masses they are trying to call to action, they don’t have to rely on food stamps or spend long days pounding the pavement to find work.

    Behind the bandanas meant to disguise their identities are ACORN activists and the riffraff of major unions like the Service Employees International Union, SEIU—the ones who frighten 14-year-old boys home alone.

    Canada Free Press (CFP) was encouraged to read on Maggie’s notes “I’m reading everywhere on the Internet that Wade Rathke, co-founder of ACORN and SEIU, announced the Day of Rage on March 25, 2011. I don’t doubt that is true, but haven’t been able to find anything other than someone else quote him—nothing linking to the actual quote. The source

      When “prolatariat” revolutions are undertaken by pseudo-intellectual bourgeoisie white kids who’ve never worked a day in their lives (ie supported a family, bought a house or a car, paid bills, had any responsibility etc) it’s pretty hard to take them seriously.

      I think the loose collective of the Tea Party has more rights to call themselves the American Prolatariat than these twits do.

      They don’t know who they are or what they stand for, while waiting for their phones to get a signal.
      Maybe they should have taken a page from the union protesters and got drunk first.

      Do not let this sway you from thinking that there is no reason to be alarmed though. We are murdering children at an alarming rate. Allowing even churches to practice pedophilia, homosexuality, marrying such debauchery, and allowing such to be leaders of churches is not going to go unnoticed by our Lord.
      What we also need in schools is the reconstructing funds. We need to reconstruct the education system. Removing all of the lies that this generation is being taught and and bring the truth into the schools again. In my opinion, what public school teaches our children is borderline treasonous.

      Very well said . . . this is a rip-off of the movie “V for Vendetta”, with the masked faces. It is not going to even be noticed by mainstream average America who will think these people with their so-called “rage” are nuts and should have something better to do with their time and energy than putting on a show in NYC.       Bunch of modern day hippies that have no idea what they want. First lady makes that point more clear than anything. What type of system do you want? Then it takes her forever to come up with an answer and when she does she prefaces it with “it’s complicated.” How complicated is it? You want some type of anarchy? I’ll bet she owns a computer, has a car, probably a smart phone, etc. Do these moonbats know what will occur in anarchy? How can you have “social equality and economic equality” in a lawless society? Forget that neither of those versions of equality include freedom as she contends but rather take a tyrannical system to enforce. These people are stupider than their doped up predecessors but instead of being wasted on drugs to explain the idiocy, it is brain damage of a caliber we have never seen.

      Gotta be honest I’m really disappointed with these hippies. I thought they would actually be doing something to help their cause. They sound and look like bumbling mumbling morons. And the “ya know likes” and “I don’t really knows”prove that our public school system really like sucks, ya know, I mean, like, I‘m not really sure why I’m here but I’m pretty much ya know, I mean lazy, like why would we want to go to work and earn like a living in a like free society just to benefit our employers when we could ya know, like do a conga line around the bull.

      attitdijdi…………………………..you kind of stole my thunder. my question is similar to yours. all those people seem to be well dressed, and well fed. i didnt see any scruffy looking people who appear to be unemployed and hungry. so where is the money coming from to get these people to this protest? do they all live within walking distance of wall street? did they go all day long without food or drink? the point is, these people dont look like they are suffering in any way. they are idiots who either didnt learn about the constitution in school, weren’t taught about the const. or are just stupid. 99% of them have absolutely nothing to complain about. the other 1% might be unemployed and broke and have a legitimate reason to protest. if they are going to protest, they should be protesting the way their god, obama, is running this country into the ground……………………………………

      Elainne….. People are quitting work and businesses are already closing.
      We signed trade agreements with countries with low-low worker wages. We played down to their level. Some was for corporate greed, but where were the elected officials who should have known the jobs would go to the places with cheap labor? Hell, even I could see that would happen.
      It was planned from the beginning to bring us to, eventually, a one-world economy, where our middle class would evaporate, jobs would pay minimum wage, and people would beg the government for help.

    Thankfully it has not become violent or even worse; Thanks to the Almighty for holding them in check and showing them for who they really are. Stalin and Lenin were right “useful idiots…” and how many actually knew what they were there for anyhow?

    And for the record, to any naysayers out there, yes I figured these protests would be violent or turn violent; as of this posts time, it has not and I am glad to be wrong in the matter.

    I see more media there than protestors. Also, don’t forget that on a Saturday with weather like today, there are naturally tens of thousands of people walking down the street and visiting the parks.

    Total Attendence has been estimated to be in the low single digits. Those looking for their 15 minutes of fame.
