Tenn. State Rep: ‘I Don’t Trust One Muslim in Our Military’

Tennessee State Rep. Rick Womick is raising some eyebrows following some very curious comments he recently made about Muslims.

In an interview with Think Progress’ Lee Fang at the “Preserving Freedom Conference” in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the politician made a number of shocking statements about Islam. To summarize: He made it clear that he doesn’t support allowing Muslims to serve in the U.S. military. But that may be putting it lightly.

“Personally, I don’t trust one Muslim in our military,” Womick said. “[I]f they truly are a devout Muslim, and follow the Quran and the Sunnah, then I feel threatened because they’re commanded to kill me.”

Watch these comments, below:

But Womick‘s commentary didn’t end here.

The Daily News Journal penned a follow-up on the incident. In an interview with the newspaper, the lawmaker didn’t offer an apology and he stood by his previous comments.

“Who are we at war with?” he asked during the interview. “We are at war with al-Qaeda and the Taliban, who are Muslims. It’s a Catch-22. They are not allowed to kill their fellow Muslims, we’re at war with Muslims. The only solution I see is that they not be allowed in the military.”

Here’s an extended version of the video, with more commentary and discussion on the matter:

As a result of Womick’s comments, Saleh Sbenaty of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, said, ” … he needs to be impeached immediately.”

Womick, who was in the U.S. Air Force, served as a fighter pilot in the first Gulf War.

Womack is the man and that is why we elected him to serve in the state senate. As far as I know we are still able to elect the state government, right. Or has the federal government taken that away also? The dems will make it sound that he is worse than Stalin.

To the Author of this article Billy Hallowell:

you used the words “curious comments” describing Rep. Rick Womick’s statements. Do you live in a parallel universe in which Islam is a peaceful religion? Does it puzzle you as to why he would make these comments? Are you in a quandry? Are you utterly mystified as to why anyone who has been conscious for the past, say, 10 to 15 years might question the religion of Islam?

Billy, as an American, and as a person who reads – I find YOUR word choice… “curious”.

It’s refreshing to hear somerbody who is not afraid to tell the truth. The fact is these multiculturalists and elitists had no business allowing Muslims in this country or Europe, because this rep is right, their loyalty is only to other Muslims worldwide and ONLY Muslims.

Take a look at the present situation: They have training camps here in the US’ many of them have been tracked going to Muslim countries for jihadist training and returning; several have been arrested here before they’ve had a chance to carry out planned killings and bombings. Reports abound of anti-American rhetoric occurring by imams in the mosques throughout the country, yet we never hear of anything from the so-called “peaceful” Muslims condemning atrocities by Muslims when they occur..

In France everywhere there is a Muslim/African enclave it is a “no go” area. On average 100 cars are torched and burned per night. Thousands are set on fire every night when an uprising occurs.

In Britain they just held protests declaring how glad they were that British soldiers had been killed during memorials for the soldiers. Riots occur periodically wherever there are Muslim enclaves and have for years now. They carry signs OFTEN stating sharia law MUST be the law of Britain and that they HATE the West.

Muslim on white rapes occur frequently in Europe and Australia, because they regard Western women as sluts.

All this because white weenies are afraid they’ll be called racists.

“because this rep is right, their loyalty is only to other Muslims worldwide and ONLY Muslims.”

How many books need be written about the dual loyalty of Jews to their country? Let’s just look at a couple very recent examples.

Rahm Emanuel’s father was a member of the Israeli terrorist group Irgun. Rahm Emanuel never served in, or volunteered with, the U.S. military. He did volunteer to serve with Israel’s army during the first Gulf War of 1991.
Emanuel became Obama’s Chief of Staff, where he acted as the president’s most senior adviser and right hand man, counselling him and attempting to get his proposals passed by Congress. He also guarded the door to the Oval Office, controlling what information did, and did not get into the presidents hands.

Richard Perle was the lead author of a study written for the Netanyahu government of Israel in 1996. In 2000 Perle, and many of the other authors known to be avid Zionists, became high, well placed, officials in the Bush administration. In their positions they fudged the intelligence, which led us to war with Iraq and the removal of Saddam Hussein (See OSP, Feith and Franklin).
The removal of Saddam Hussein was the hallmark of their study, written 7 years before they led the U.S. to invade Iraq. Saddam was removed, just as they had planned for Israel. Perle later became a Director of the Jerusalem Post.

There’s so much more, but even a fool can figure this one out.

He makes a good point about moderate, less devout, muslims being acceptable, but that the problem is knowing whether they really ARE moderate, since they know thye can lie to infidels.

I would make all muslims spit on a picture of Muhammad if they want to serve in the military or the government. If they do that they can be trusted.

We don’t need Muslims as translators. Give those jobs to the Christians fleeing those lands.

The difference between the Bible and the Koran is that in the Bible the violence is overwhelmingly DEscriptive while in the Koran it is largely PREscriptive.

If you don’t know the difference between the two terms or why the difference is important there is no use arguing with you.

Sad to see so much televised ignorance. I wonder how many of you people have actually read the Qu’ran? Nowhere does it teach to kill non Muslims. Nowhere does it teach to not respect other religions. This delusional line of reasoning shows how far the education level in this country has descended. From the Qu’ran, The Heifer, Surah 2:62: “Unity of All Submitters

[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

So no matter what the morons claim the Qu’ran does NOT teach hatred of Non Muslims. Now RADICAL Muslims have distorted the truth( much like our government) and want us to BELIEVE that is what it says. I challenge anyone to provide a reference in the Qu’ran that teaches killing non Muslims. Peace

      THE KORAN
      The Dinner Table
5.32] For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainly Our apostles came to them with clear arguments, but even after that many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land.
[5.33] The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement,

      The Cow
[2.191] And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.
[2.192] But if they desist, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[2.193] And fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah, but if they desist, then there should be no hostility except against the oppressors.

[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book [that means Jews, Christians and Zoroastrians], until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

Womick is right and we need more men like him serving in our government. There are two kinds of Muslims: 1) The kind who understands allah is a pagan deity and who believes everyone in the world must either submit to that demon god or be slain, and; 2) the kind who is ignorant about the god he is worshiping. If you ever want to see a manifestation of the demonic nature of Islam, just watch the expression of an orthodox Muslim after you ask him how the god he worships could possibly be the same God of Christians when Jesus is the Son of God and allah claimed he has no son.

Yeah you’re right. Moses beheaded over 800 non believers while his young 9 year old bride looked on.

Noah I’m sure told his followers to enslave rape and kill all infidels that refused to convert to Judaism. Then attacked a Muslim village killed all the men raped and enslaved all the women and took the children and incorporated them into Jewish families to be raised a Jew.

I’m almost sure that in one of there parables Christ told his followers to spread Christianity across the world by the sword or enslave those who don’t. Then only peace can come to the world.

Damn those nasty Christians 18,000 deadly terror attacks since those evil Jews flew those planes into the buildings in Sept.

“Those who fail to remember history are doomed to repeat it.” Sorry folks, you’re reinventing the wheel. There is nothing unique about the current fear of and anger against Muslims. Way to go guys, you’ve found another group to hate, and you’ve got all your reasons for hating the 1 billion Muslims in the world, but you’re just repeating history. This is an old, tired story.

Native Americans were the first object of hatred, then blacks (somebody said Muslims should go back to their own country – does that ring a bell?), and during other periods, Jews, Asians, Catholics and whatever other group.

What happened to all those bad guys jzs?! Well, thanks for asking. It turned out Native Americans were defending the land they considered theirs, just as you would. It turned out that blacks didn’t covet your white daughters, or give you diseases if you sat next to them in a restaurant, they just wanted to recognized as members of the human race (and now we have a black President). Jewish people don’t control the world as Hitler and many in the US believed they would. And so on.

So here we go again; history repeating itself. Yes, you have all reasons, just as Americans have had in the past. Don‘t believe you’re so smart though. America as a country has been through this many times before, and “reasons” for your hatred and fear are getting a little thin from overuse. History repeating itself.

All through the koran, the emphasis, is personal glory and taking over the world, by destroying or enslaving others.
All through the Bible, the emphasis, is that mankind was created in a perfect state, but because of sin, became sinful and all sorts of evil entered, If man would accept the death of that God’s own Son, ” [as the OT looked forward to this and catalogued the evils of mankind] (I and My father are one. ” Jesus said], so it was God Himself dieing for mankind, and the command for man to go out and tell everybody, that they could have peace, and love for others by following His examples [and accepting His forgiveness and salvation.]of life lived to make life better for others!

This is certain the story the media tells daily. Why is it that People seem unaware that the news seizes on the most sensational and often isolated causes to champion as the norm? Let me correct your lies ISLE. By intentionally omitting the context you attempted to turn the story of Cain and Able into hatred for non Muslims. Pathetic

[5:27] Recite for them the true history of Adam’s two sons. They made an offering, and it was accepted from one of them, but not from the other. He said, “I will surely kill you.” He said, “GOD accepts only from the righteous

[5:28] “If you extend your hand to kill me, I am not extending my hand to kill you. For I reverence GOD, Lord of the universe.

[5:29] “I want you, not me, to bear my sin and your sin, then you end up with the dwellers of Hell. Such is the requital for the transgressors.”

[5:30] His ego provoked him into killing his brother. He killed him, and ended up with the losers.

[5:31] GOD then sent a raven to scratch the soil, to teach him how to bury his brother’s corpse. He said, “Woe to me; I failed to be as intelligent as this raven, and bury my brother’s corpse.” He became ridden with remorse.

      Grossness of Murder

[5:32] Because of this, we decreed for the Children of Israel that anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or horrendous crimes, it shall be as if he murdered all the people. And anyone who spares a life it shall be as if he spared the lives of all the people. Our messengers went to them with clear proofs and revelations, but most of them, a

Under taqiyaa, a Muslim can lie, steal, rape, pillage, and murder anyone (so long as the victim is not a Muslim) and it’s not a sin. In fact, the vasy majority of Wahabi-types and “household name” terrorist groups all believe that Muslims that practice taqiyaa are smiled upon by Allah.

Here’s one for you: “They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.” (2 Chronicles 15:12-13) In other words, kill anyone who isn’t Christian, including children.

Muslims are simply the latest in a long line of groups who have been the object of fear and hatred in the United States. You can line up all the reasons you hate them, and quote the Bible just as the KKK did, but the reality is this is just the newest fad among those who choose to hate other people. There’s nothing new here, just the same hatred in different clothing.

Muslims are a cult among the people of Ishmael, a son of Abraham through the Egyptian bond woman Hagar. Their prophecy was defined well in the book of Genesis Chapter 16 vs 12.

“And he will be a wild man ; his hand will be against every man, and every mans hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren”

That sums up the lot of the Ishmalites (Muslims) to a tee. There is nothing else need be said of old Ishmael, our Fathers word states it all. People simply don’t read the text any longer and are completely unfamiliar with the tribes and their identity.
Ishmael was not to become heir to Abraham, only Isaac was provided that title. That entire conversation is well defined in Genesis chapter 17 starting with verse 18. There our Father is quite clear concerning Ishmael and his covenant and the yet unborn child whom the Lord God named Isaac. The covenant was to pass to Isaac not Ishmael. This same issue is re-visited once again in Genesis chapter 21 after Isaac is born. There its made clear that the seed shall be called in Isaac not Ishmael (V12). Its finally acted upon in the 25th chapter of Genesis ” and Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac, But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, Eastward unto the East country“ These concubines would have included the son of Hagar ”Ishmael” and the sons of Keturah -Zimran, Jokshan, Midan, Medan, Ishbak

Tennessee State Rep. Rick Womick is a man with the ability to reason, imagine that! An ability most Americans in the past possessed back before the enemy infiltrated our government and our minds! In WW2 we didn’t trust the enemy who lived within our borders and took action to prevent them from doing us harm, not because we wanted to be harmful to innocent people, but by necessity to ensure we didn’t lose the war. War is about winning and nothing else. If a war is worth starting, it’s worth doing what ever needs to be done to minimize injury and death for all Americans! I think Obama is right about some Americans has gooten soft and not only soft but ignorant. Obama heads up the party of soft and ignorance!

actually if we were to do that again its kinda bad. maybe you don’t believe the Constitution applies to everyone in the U.S. but it does. Those people we interned hadn’t done anything wrong. We interned the Germans, Japanese and Italians because we were afraid and big brother saw that they could. Maybe you haven’t heard of the 442 that is probably the most decorated unit in the U.S. Army and they just happen to be made up of Americans of Japanese ancestry. Just saying its kinda dumb to sit here and say that you believe in the Constitution yet you would take away an Americans rights because they might do something bad. Granted that there have been a few lately but you can’t blame them all. If you say you can then maybe you should look at our military history. Specifically you should look up the San Patrico Brigade in the Mexican-American War. If we had followed your logic then we would never allow the Irish to have fought for America in the Civil War and that probably would have been a bad turn out for the U.S.

They are not Americans. Plain and simple. Adams, if I recall, had the book translated to form his own observations. I believe he used the term “savages”. Very little has changed since then. Just my observation here, would I trust someone who originated a font made of swords? I can not support this “Johnny come lately” cult as a religion. It does not pass the “turn the other cheek” test. I’ve made that known several times. The entire islamic cultist faith is third party hearsay at best. They have no rights. Also, to coin a phrase, I can blame the ninetynine percent.

I am a active duty Marine so I’m actually serving my country and I cant just pick up and leave. But if racist bigots like you ever got control of the government I would gladly leave. The whole point of our Republic is to keep idiots like you from taking away the rights of the few. I don’t personally think they should be allowed in the military either, BUT you cannot condemn all of them for the failures of a few. Y’all keep saying that devout muslims will kill us and cant fight each other. This is true BUT y’all obviously forgot that in the bible it says thou shall not kill. Last time I checked the majority of the military is Christian. So obviously they are all bad Christians and will now go to hell for killing correct? Oh wait you would make the distinction that they aren’t killing other Christians so its okay or something to that effect right? I mean honestly the people is it not possible that a person could be a muslim and not practice like most Christians? Most Christians really don’t practice Christianity until they need something or its Christmas. Now since it was obviously too hard for you to go ahead and read what gary M wrote and then what I wrote and understand what I was saying let me spell it out for you.

As to the original post and your absurd point of view!

The same mindset, the same belief system the same ideology just under different label terrorists, pirates whatever. Same enemies of the republic then as they are now. Except now we have you and others like you who defend their right to destroy this nation. If you knew anything about Islam you would know it’s a political entity more then a religious one but you don’t and it’s oblivious. Islam is a political entity mandated by its leader for world domination. 60% of the Quran administers the laws against non believers!

One cannot have allegiance to 2 masters. Only a fool can accept that and this political official plainly states the obvious. While you on the other hand support the very enemy that wishes to destroy this nation using our freedoms against us.

So therefore your premise is that religion even a false one can destroy my republic and I can do absolutely nothing to stop it!

Typical “lack of knowledge Chirstian”. Try reading the WHOLE bible. Jesus never condemned the government for crucifixion (it happened every day), nor war. God says to obey the ruling authority as that authority is of God. Jesus/God told the INDIVIDUAL to turn their cheek to offense. Told the INDIVIDUAL not to murder (kill for their own benefit). Told the INDIVIDUAL to give and take care of the poor and down trodden. Please read your bible and descern the difference between Societies responsibilities and the individuals responibilities. They are different.
Jesus was not a wimp. It take a strong faith to follow his lead and part of it is allowing someone to be executed on the tree next to you…….the one society chose to condemn.

@OperationNorthwoods – You must be getting your Biblical information from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend who never read the bible. War is a TOTALLY different animal than personal relationships. God of the Old Testament is the Same as the God of the New Testament…in which he also said to the the Apostles….

      Luke 22:35-37

      New International Version (NIV)

35 Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?”

      “Nothing,” they answered.

36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. 37 It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’[a]; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.”

You liberals only see the scripture that you want to use to push the devil’s agenda without any resistance. The Bible consists of more than the scriptures the liberals have picked out to promote the devil’s agenda. Jesus was talking about turning the other cheek within His own church! Jesus gave man the instruction to set up government to do whatever it needs to do for justice and to keep the peace! The truth is if a person is born again they have freedom in Christ but it also says not to use that freedom to do evil. Many people use that freedom in Christ and reap what they sow on earth but if a person has been truly born of THE HOLY SPIRIT, no one can ever take that away. Isn’t that a future worth praising Jesus for? You liberals really should try to read and see the truth so you can be born again, understand the Bible and be able to praise God too!

It has nothing to do with being Muslim. It has EVERYTHING to do with being a fundamentalist, extremist Muslim.

If you Christians followed much of the Old Testament to the level that the extremist Muslim follows the Koran, you would ALSO be commanded to “kill the infidel.”

There are MANY truly peace-loving, non-violent Muslims out there who deserve every “freedom” available to anyone else in this country. There are also MANY out-of-their-mind Christians out there that, if given a chance, would jump at the opportunity to hurt and kill those who disagree with THEIR definition of god as defined by their “holy” book.

There IS a historical account of God’s specific command to the people of Israel to kill some other specific Caananites. But those people don’t exist anymore, so it would be impossible to try to obey that command for the last three thousand years.

You shall stone him to death with stones, because he sought to draw you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage…. If you hear in one of your cities, which the LORD your God gives you to dwell there, that certain base fellows have gone out among you and have drawn away the inhabitants of the city, saying, “Let us go and serve other gods” which you have not known, then you shall inquire and make search and ask diligently; and behold, if it be true and certain that such an abominable thing has been done among you, you shall surely put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, destroying it utterly, all who are in it and its cattle, with the edge of the sword.”

What you list are commands to punish Israelites who violate their own religion. They did not apply to foreign worshippers.

But regardless, Christians do not believe they are obligated to obey those laws as they were for the people of Israel living under the Law. Christians do not live under the law, and never have. That’s why we abolished blasphemy laws as there is no warrant for them in the New Covenant.

Yeah, I know that’s what Christians say today. Oddly, it’s not biblical – and NOT what Jesus commanded in the NEW testament:

“For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from THE LAW (i.e. the Old Testament) until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall he called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Infidelephant, you do realize that the word Christianity comes from Christ, and that Christians follow the teachings of Christ specifically? Nothing you wrote was said by Christ. I believe that his words are best summarized at the time he said “let he who is without sin”. In reality if a Christian really follows his or her faith then nothing you said applies.

That’s cool what you just did there. I sometimes wonder how often believers – in their quiet, private place – stop and consider just how many loops and hoops they have to jump through, how much mental gymnastics has to be done – just so that they can continue believing.

I mean no disrespect, nor am I approaching you good people or this topic with an air of arrogance or ridicule.

If your going to try and defend an evil ideology like Islam at least supply us with true comparisons not some twisted BS that has nothing to do with each other.

Your cut and paste exercise only proves your complete ignorance of the Islamic ideology. To compare it’s conquering mandated laws of submission by imposing it’s will over the whole earth while destroying all other faiths to Judaism and Christianity isn’t so much a stretch then it is a ridiculous argument made by ridiculous men

You use verses showing laws within the confines of Judaism or the fire that will befall the unbelievers of Christianity in hell once their dead are simply smoke and mirror devices that have failed time and time again. Show us where Moses commanded his men to rape and enslave pagan villages. Show where Christ says to convert unbelievers by the sword. Silly boy! They don’t exist do they? When defending a conquering political ideology shrouded in a religion created by a murdering pedophile madman you need more then just strawman arguments with flimsy loose examples .

@ Infidelephant To answer any question about how a believer (myself in this case) thinks quietly, I’ll give you my view on it. Everyone has their doubts at some point, but it’s not so complex to believe. There are so many details, so many things and specific points, but really in the end it’s very simple. If you try to focus on every single point then you will always lose – no one can understand everything. If you focus on the grand theme; then it’s enough. I always say that simplicity is complex. Whenever I have a doubt I just remember my core beliefs, and it reinforces me. You’ve got to try and do your best, but we are human and imperfect. (on a side note; I use logical premises and scenarios to develop my personal beliefs a lot of the time. One thing I’ve noted, with relation to imperfection, is that language – English in my scenario, but it should apply to all – is constructed in a way that actually prevents you not being contradictory at some point. That’s with words that all fit together in what we would commonly consider normal speech. In almost every single conversation people make at least one contradictory statement, however they are so common that people don’t even tend to notice the subtle contradictions. I have also developed a theory as to why language is flawed that way, but my word limit prevents me from sharing that theory).

People fascinate me too. And sorry, I have a tendency to over detail what I say and write with side notes.

We have atheists in homeland security. Homos are in homeland security. Savage “Indians” in homeland security. Catholics in homeland security. Why is Muslim any different?

Jesus Christ, King of Kings, let’s us choose who we worship. If we want to worship Baal, our choice. If we want to worship nothing, our choice. If we want to worship a rock God, our choice.

Okie… this would make a great many of us bigots, including you….unless you are not devoted. Only the lukewarm would not be included here, or those that are like a leaf blowing in the wind. I think most people use the word bigot without knowing the actual meaning. They use it to try to make the other a hateful person. So, no I am not “absolutly” wrong.
A devout muslim is a danger to this nation… do I HATE muslims… NO. As a “Christian” nation they are NOT compatable.
If in your eyes we are not a christian nation, then so be it. The spirit behind Islam does not agree.

I do not think our fore fathers forsaw this day as wise as they were. Freedom of religion I believe was to worship the God of the bible. If someone wants to worship other than, they are provided that freedom under the constitution.

Is a muslim really a muslim if NOT devout, is a christian really a christian if not devout, since God does not look kindly on being lukewarm.

If we were a devout christian nation could Islam even survive. “ Infidelephant” used some verses that apply to my point. Though I don’t think he knows what he is doing.
Actually Okie I do hope you are a bigot, and that I have explained my bigoted position a little better. I do not hate people and if this nation falls it will be sad and difficult, but our Lord is above all…..peace :)

OK – so we got off track. The main point of my original post has now been repeated a good many times on this thread, but I will make it simple:

The No Religious Test Clause of the United States Constitution is found in Article VI, paragraph 3, and states that:

“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

Check… MATE! That is, unless you good people want to disagree with the Constitution.

What are you smoking and how can I get some? The Freedom of Religion first, was set forth in the Constitution, 1st Amendment, drafted by the Founders. There is no qualifier say that this only applies to one Sky Father and not another. The US Constitution is clear in its prohibitions on religious tests and infringment of religion. Can a devout Muslim? – I would like to think so, just as much as a devout Christian, or Hindu, or Jain, etc.

Can a MILITANT EXTREMIST Muslim, who takes his “holy” book as the inerrant word of Creator God and therefore capable of all sorts of barbaric atrocities? – I would say no. Like you, I find THESE “people” the scourge of the earth – VERY bad for the well-being of our species – and not fit for service NOT because they are Muslims, but because they are INSANE Muslims

“You might want to take another look at the board, since your bible moves don’t work. I would admit, I might me wrong; though I think not. I’d rather be safe then sorry.”

They weren’t “moves.” I wasn’t attempting to win any argument. I was simply answering a question of one particular individual who seemed to be under the impression that the Bible didn’t command to “kill the infidel.” And it DOES! Regardless of who the message was intended, or what time period it applies to – it still uses the same rhetoric.

intolerant person: somebody with strong opinions, especially on politics, religion, or ethnicity, who refuses to accept different views
Synonyms: extremist, diehard, dogmatist, racist, chauvinist, hypocrite

Howdy friend. Respectful debate with you is always appreciated. A Bigot is not a good thing.

You are being a Bigot. Jesus Christ was not a Bigot, he tolerated all, sinners and unbelievers. Followers of Him, you and I, are to walk after Him. Persecuting, physical or not, is not acceptable.

A devout Muslim can be American because being American doesn’t mean being Christian. It means believing in core Principles of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Many “devout” Muslims live here today that are more American the many “Christians” living here today. The idea all Muslims are out to kill anyone who does not believe as them is false and only used by those in power to herd the mass thru fear and anger. It is the same as during the dark ages when the Pope told his followers to kill any who did not believe as he said.

Yes our Nation was founded “Christian” and by believers of Christ and they new Jesus Christ allowed us all to worship however we chose. That a Nation that mixed Church/State, as in Religion dictating State, was wrong.  Our Nation does not create Christians, it creates free men, ones who can determine their own fate without being told how to believe. Our founders followed Jesus Christ’s example.

The No Religious Test Clause of the United States Constitution is found in Article VI, paragraph 3, and states that…
      ———-
You and all of America — need to discern the difference between a Muslim and an Islamist. An Islamist adheres to a theo-political system called Islam. That is not a religion, and is therefore not protected by the above clause. A Muslim is someone who is born into Islam and follows the motions, so to speak. That religion is inexistent in the Muslim world, and is not being spread around the globe. ISLAMISM is, so it is our worst enemy. Islamism has made an unholy alliance with communism. In the end Islamism will prevail because they use sexual-spiritual zeal to conquer, they are brutal, and they can infiltrate other political systems under the guise of what I have labeled the “Muslim religion.” Telling the two apart is practically impossible, and a Muslim can convert to Islamism just by accessing the wrong website, so that is our current quagmire. Also, the more territory Islamism gains, the more difficult it will be for Muslims to simply practice a religious faith. Using the word “extremist” and “devout” is misleading, because what happens when someone embraces Islamism is that they adhere to Muhammad’s POLITICAL END to conquer the world (power), by MEANS of the religion he made up. Gotta go, but will check back if you care to comment.

Man “Americans” have never studied Islam and they only know what they have been taught out of context. What we do not understand and still do not understand as seen in our Middle East policy is Islam is non aggressive, but it is defensive.

Those verses quoted above, “kill the infidel”, required a reasoning to do so, not to just do do so out of aggression. Many leave out the reason a Muslim is granted permission to ‘fight’ or ‘kill’ in the name of their God.

“Permission [to fight] is given to those against whom war is being wrongfully waged and, verily, God has indeed the power to succour them; those who have been driven from their homelands against all right for no other reason than their saying, ‘Our sustainer is God!’” (22:39-40).

The Qur’an clearly states, in the remainder of 2:190 it says:

“…but do not commit aggression, for verily, God does not love aggressors.”

“But if they [the enemy] incline to peace, incline thou to it as well, and place thy trust in God: verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! And should they seek but to deceive thee [by their show of peace] – behold, God is enough for thee! He it is who has strengthened thee with His succour, and by giving thee believing followers” (8:61-62).

I advocate no one to become Muslim or follow what I believe a false God but I do advocate for we all have the freedom to choose to worship whatever we desire. I advocate for believers in Jesus Christ not to persecute, physical or not, but to follow in the steps of Jesus Christ. By following in Jesus Christ’s footsteps we share His Word, which you and I know is Truth and Love. Truth and Love is more powerful than any sword or non physical persecution.

I do not advocate for followers of Christ to yolk with Muslims in worship or anything to that regard. I do encourage believers to share the truth of Jesus Christ and His love and Mercy freely, peacefully, and respectfully to everyone. Thankfully God gave us a free land that allows us to do so.

Don’t be a bigot, be a believer. Look forward to your thoughts. Hope you are well. Peace out!

Lol thank you for the smiles my friend. I have come to know you pretty well and thus my concern and reaching out saying not to hold that frame of mind toward that one group. I just believe we, myself included for quite sometime, were misinformed and manipulated over Islam in order to continue the crusades. You and I both know, Jesus needs us not to fight any physical Holy war.

If you look at the reason why a Muslim can commit violence, defense, then you will understand why the bin Laden jihad was waged and has actually become more successful. It’s all about defense of their land and their home. It was never about how we act here, it’s all dependent on us being there.

You are no bigot and I understand your concern. Just understand my saying not to be that way was out of love so that hatred of another does not over take your mind set. You would do the same for me, I am sure of it. I appreciate you much. Stay safe my friend.

No you do not have to be born into Islam to be Muslim. Yes Islam, the religion of Muslims is very prevailing in the ME.

Islam is like Catholicism in that it has a religion based State that holds to Liberation theology (Marxism/Social justice) thru the State.

What re-places our system, what ever it is ???
It will be in the Biblical realm…
This is the generation…..that Shall not Pass.
