Terrifying New Tsunami Vid Shows Residents Trying to Outrun Giant Wave

A new video has surfaced a month after an incredible tsunami engulfed Japan. It allegedly shows terrified residents in Iwaki City trying to outrun the giant wave. It starts with villagers screaming in horror and running through the street:

Within seconds, the wave whips around a building and gobbles up everything in its path:

Buzzfeed’s Matt Stopera says this “might be the scariest 57 seconds I’ve ever seen.” That’s an accurate description:

At 0:27 there are two women at the bottom of the hill… at 0:29 they are gone. I’ve flipped through these seconds many times in hope I could find them safe, but I’m not seeing them. Does any one see otherwise?

    God bless the Japanese people.

    Wow……………….and I thought I had problems!!!!
Everything in life is relative. If we dwell on that thought and trust God…..we will endeed prevail when things seem to be out of control.
Each time we think life is overpowering us…….stop and consider this scene.
Rememeber “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2nd Timothy 2:7) He isn’t saying we will not have these feelings, however, if we are saved……Fear come’s from satan—- NOT GOD…..remember that!!!!!! He provides His children with power, love and a sound mind. Isn’t He precious?

I suspect that the cameraman forgot to keep the action cleanly “in-frame” when his feet decided it was bit wiser to run uphill as fast as possible! Even from the footage we DO see, this is clearly scary stuff. We can only imagine what it would be like to be standing there when the wall of water came crashing in. It probably would be hard to even hold your bladder — let alone holding a camera steady!

There’s no such thing as “The Rapture”. That came from the “vision” of a young girl about 160 years ago. The harm comes when people/preachers take the Bible out of context in an attempt to prove a lie. STUDY THE BIBLE as Jesus told us to do.

This is a old prayer I learnded from a missionary from Japan:

“Unto those who have moved into the setting sun, so you now rest with the Lord and His Father. May all the good and just you have done, with love and honor, be carried on in the memories and lives of all you have touched, and continue onward into the time ahead by those folks as well. For your life is done now and here, yet the love you have shown, the faith you have practiced, and the grace of He who is above us all, is moved into the eternal from this day forth.”
