    Nothing more can be said about this ‘non thing’ speaking. Truly comical. Soft spoken, but her words are hard and against the very country she lives in and made money in, smiles all the while she speaks her condemnation, flower in the hair to represent beauty/feminity disguising a side to her that is ugly with the people she walks with, and a hairstyle that is childish for her age so she does not want to look at what she’s become–old, washed up, a non thing.

    Nothing to worry about here. Her words have no power anymore and that interviewer?!!! Leading this woman on, baiting her, was she her daughter? Does she have a sore throat? What is up with that scarf?!! Or is it a blanket? I don’t know. Reminds me of a Cat In The Hat character.

      I thought that the interviewer may be a relative because she looks like the woman in the photo behind her. Yes this traitorous pig and the piven insect are definetly screaming for the fall of our Republic. I would STILL like to know what these traitors think will happen when this fall occurs. Do they think all the scarry people will dis-appear?? What will happen to the systems in place, hospitals, food networks, financial networks?? Do they have a plan?       These are means to entrepreneurialship that the private sector not only CAN handle by itself, but SHOULD handle by itself beause it is the people who are actually trading that know what the real costs of production are.

      Social Security “taxes” raises the costs of production, making everything more expensive. Health care is not a right – doctors show up at hospitals to make money.

      Health insurance is just another way of saying “socialized health care” (all insurance is “socialized”), and like all socialized programs, there must be rationing (lack of coverage for pre-existing conditions) in order for it to be of help for everyone participating; The more health care entitlements raise the cost of health care, the more health insurance will, in turn, cost.

      This is why both health care should always be handled by the private sector for profit.

      Finally, the space industry is overrated, and you have to violate other countries’ air space in order for it to work. GPS is nice, but we could accomplish that with private sector blimps.

I did however mean get rid of the “revolving doors” and not the industries themselves, but I think you got the jist. My main argument would be about health care and judging by your username I think we would disagree. I do believe that we all have an equal right to the benefits of modern medicine because no one persons life is more valuable than the next and I believe this is where money gives you artificial value over your poorer neighbor. Now, clearly some procedures and operations are far more expensive than the majority of hospital visits, and some doctors require better compensation for more complex and straining specialties, but I believe if every american chipped into the system at an equal rate those who suddenly needed chemotherapy or spinal surgery would be offset by those who are incredibly healthy or who’ve all but broken an arm in their lifetime. I think it’s a little like me paying through taxation for the fire department even though my house has never caught on fire.

      Given the otherwise incredible lack of value of money, it’s easy to see it as an artificial source of value.

      But money actually represents the value of labor and goods, and so, to the extend that the money can be expected to be accepted as a store of real value, for all intents and purposes, the value in money is not at all artificial.

      As for your position on modern medicine being a right, it’s actually those who own the medicine or possess the skills who have a right to do with them whatever THEY like. And since it cost them to acquire the medicine or the skills, they are justified in trading for them like they would any other good or service.

      Claiming a right to a doctor’s labor is claiming a right to make someone a slave.

      Also, every American chipping in to a national health care system would violate State’s rights.

      Fundamentally, though, communal property is a disincentive to production because why should you work harder when you’re going to get the same as everyone else?

      You might say we should all be motivated by our love for one another, but think about this: When a plane goes down, you are sad for people’s loss, but not NEARLY as sad as you’d be if someone in your own family was in the plane.

      @Doctors, Sorry, Stossel is a fracking knob. I watched part 1, it seemed like two guys pretending to discuss metaphysics when they’re both devout christians. They agreed on eachothers flimsy logic and complimented each other on their agreeable comments. Really, they missed the whole idea about the commons except for when the interviewee slipped and thought it out all the way. The commons method only works in a family, because you love one another. Well, would you clean the bathroom you use if your dad was using it next, or would you graffiti a building your mom owned. It’s only the way we think about it, and, being raised in a capitalist society, we’re fully ingrained in the alienation it causes. We greedily guard our possessions without realizing we posses nothing, not even our bodies, permanently. We have all forgotten that we are all one in the same on a higher plane of consciousness. We all stem from the same being but we are free to interpret our realty and argue with others about their interpretations. We all have such psychological disorders that we cling to private ownership for comfort. But why don’t you love every person you see on the street, even your most disgustingly opposite? Isn’t that what jesus preached and what all radicals of the Christian Right fail to do?

      @Doctor (cont.)Every since those herders divided the land we’ve malformed our reality into mine and yours, we think the environment begins where our skin ends, we’ve become scared in our own illusions so we cling to material objects, claim possession and seek more ownership because our addiction to our alienation is the only thing that makes us feel normal. Everybody owns a house, closes their doors, shuts out the world and turns the tv on at night. Everybody lives in their separate illusions yet we still share a planet. It is a hard habit to break, and will take generations, but I’m excited because the most ardent defenders of this addiction will soon be outnumbered because of one thing; the Internet.

I can only assume that the young generation today will be fully aware of this problem because the internet represents our common supra-consciousness, our commons of information, our tool to critically think about the way we use the planet the way we consume and waste for the sake of fashion the way in which we can live comfortably and happy and realize the generations spawned in 5000bc, cultured in the 1100s and onwards became addicted to pleasure in the 20th century hit rock bottom at the turn of the future will evolve into the 21st century as a shared organism inhabiting an island in space.

      I would like to continue, if you’re up for it.

      Capitalism doesn’t cause alienation – in fact Capitalism doesn’t work unless you can network with other people to learn how to best use the markets available; If anything, Capitalism brings people CLOSER than they would be, otherwise – take the great Capitalist icon, the Internet (I took the Internet back for Capitalism, did you see that? lol).

      There’s a great story called “I, Pencil” that explains this.

      Further, you literally CANNOT care for everyone on the planet on the same level. Again, you can’t put in the time with everyone in order for that to happen.

      Let me ask you something: Do you believe there is such a thing as theft?

      Just another ‘Cloward-Piven’ moment.
      Cloward and Piven were inspired by radical organizer [and Hillary Clinton mentor] Saul Alinsky:

      “Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote in his 1989 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short.       As if Socialism had a better track record than Capitalism, right?

      Does anyone know if Alinsky was against Corporatism, rather than Capitalism? This would be a HUGE error in judgement on his part, assuming he was a true believer.
