      Solis, a Jackwagon, doesn‘t know squat about what she is saying or what her job is because she hasn’t read the U.S. Constitution or the book that she was never given to her by Obumbler the Communist King. It’s entitled, “Running A Country In A Constitutional Manner Under The Rule of Law for Absolute Idiots.” Since the book doesn’t come as an e-book with a telepromter none of the “King’s” staff have read it. On a higher note, those of that have read the Constitution and understand the Rule of Law know that the “King” has violated both and should be thrown out office and thrown out of this country forever.       She does too know about creating jobs – at least how to create one for herself.

      As for making policy – she will make whatever policy she is told to make by the Finger-Pointer-In-Chief. Whatever he cannot pass through Congress he will try to do by micro-managing and making policy – whether or not it contradicts Congress or the United States Constitution. At the same time, using policy to NOT ENFORCE LAWS!!!

      So much for taking an oath to UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION and to PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION !!

      Am I the only one that feels like we have been INVADED by a foreign government that is now RULING over us while pretending to work “through” our existing system??? It sure feels and looks that way when you stand back and see the 50,000 ft. picture.

      When one surrounds him or herself with only progressive thinking people, the substance and quality of those people deminish. The only thing they see is their vision and agenda. It dosen’t matter what is said, how it’s said, nor in what context it’s said. What matters is that enough people, who are not up on the news and facts, hear it. People will believe a lie.

      All of barry’s administration is second rate if that. They’re all a disgrace.

      They target the scared, the welfare babes, the young, a very large percentage of the high school students as well as college students, the illegals, the sick, and elderly just to name a few. And when everything is said and done, fear takes over and a gleeming example of what the progressive agenda does is sitting in the White House.

      The really sad thing is these people who are fooled and can’t see through the lies will be the ones hurt at the end. We can only pray that they see past their selfishness and to the strength of the country.

      She thinks her job is to promote Hispanics exclusively in all things. What the country needs as a whole is of no concern to her. She is a tribal chieftan who looks out for her tribe…even in other countries…. over and above all other people, including her countrymen.

      Isn’t that like most blacks in this perverted administration? With them it’s about strictly supporting and promoting blacks over and above everyone else, including the ones who live in other countries.

      Remember the female Hispanic George Bush the First appointed as surgeon general? She used the office as a platform to promote Hispanics and Hispanic causes. She never did say anything about things that have to do with the health of the population as a whole, something her job required.

      And when she was appointed as Minority Director from a state I can’t recall right now, the sign on her door read, “Office of Minority Concerns” or some such PC drivel. She had it changed to “DIRECTOR…. Office of the Emerging Majority.” In other she was advertising her belief (and desire) that minorities would be the majority.

      To the people on here who believe that criticizing this kind of abhorrent anti-white hate is racist, let me ask you if you think you’re doing more to help these biased, racists, anti-white dregs than they do to help themselves?

      The answer, of course, is yes.

      Most of those jobs were the result of the military moving personnel to the military installations in Texas which is Federal action not Perry. Some is due to the uptick in oil prices, which drives oil production and people are hired to meet labor requirements, but Perry doesn’t control over oil prices although he would love to take credit.

      One in four Texans are uninsured, the worst in the nation. And Texas ranks first in the number of minimum wage jobs, most of which are probably filled by Mexicans.

      There’s no “miracle” in Texas. Just a lot of federally funded jobs and lots of jobs paying less than most Amercans will work for.

      The only problem with Texas is the number of illegal aliens getting paid as independent contractors so the employers don’t have to pay social security on them, they supposedly are taking care of that themselves. Also as an independent contractor, they don’t have to do research to see if the social security number they are given actually belongs to them.

      Figures released by the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics showed Texas leading the nation with 724,300 more net private sector jobs in December 2009 compared with one decade ago.

      Last I heard, the military wasn’t private sector.

      “While the rest of the nation has only seen net growth in government jobs, Texas’ business, tax, and economic policies have created an environment where businesses can succeed and create the jobs that will allow Texas to lead our nation out of this national recession,” Pauken said.

      Now, if you’re talking military people moving to Texas to get jobs, you might be right.

Being from Texas, in the Dallas area I know that OSHA, other entities and the Texas Enviromental Quality dept are making sure that the supposedly unsafe working conditions are minimal. Texas is in the top 20% of education quality, and since Texas is a hotbed of technology and manufacturing companies and many Fortune 500 companies why would they offer low pay. Spend 5-10 minutes researching these topics and if the website is unbiased you will find that Solis is just another useful idiot for the Obama regime.

      I also live in Texas, have my whole life. Her claims are ridiculous. We have low pay? Sure, compared to other states. But look at our low cost of living and the fact that we pay no state income taxes and our wages look pretty darn good. I’m sick of these Washington elitists acting like we Texans are just poor, uneducated, backwood idiots who must only be thriving “in spite of” instead of “because of” our economic policies (yeah, the oil industry is the ONLY reason we’re creating jobs…sure). Oh, add low corporate taxes on that list of reasons why we’re creating jobs. We don’t punish corporations and hinder them in creating jobs in this state. They should be looking to us as an example.

    To show her support for American workers, President Obama’s labor secretary, Hilda Solis, has junked the standard black limo and purchased a new Chevrolet Equinox to ride around Washington in.

    Solis proudly arrived at a media breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor today in the shiny silver vehicle, which she has dubbed the “bullet.”

    She was asked about why she traded the standard-issue limo for the SUV.

    “What better example could I set if I encouraged my staff to go and purchase and seek how we could acquire a vehicle that would for me would send a signal that we’re for supporting our American workers, American-made products, fuel efficient as well,”

    Solis added that she was inspired to buy the Chevy because of the pride she saw in American auto workers during trips to U.S. car and truck plants. She said that she was wowed by “the pride that they take making our automobiles here in America.”

    The problem: the crossover SUV is mostly built and assembled in Canada from parts also made in mostly in Canada.

Non Union Texas had 482 total worker deaths in 2009 while California (look for the union label) had 409 with an even higher homicide rate – 75 for La La Land and 69 for Texas. She should read her own statistics, but then she would have no make believe argument.

    don’t confuse her with the facts or expect her to have done her homework. She’s a Democrat. Someone needs to show her the truth. We all know about Texas’ job record, but the education record is pretty good too, especially considering the number of legal and illegal immigrants in the schools. As for pay, I don’t know exact statistics. What I do know is that it is better to have a job with lower pay and the hope of working your way up or finding a better job later than not have a job at all. If Texas is so awful, why is there such a huge influx of people from other states moving here, especially people from Illinois, Michigan, California, and New York – blue states with terrible economies? Why aren’t people flocking to those states that are ruled by Dems for the most part and what they think is best for people?
