Texas Teacher Calls Tea Party President A ‘Nazi’

On Tuesday, the San Antonio Tea Party was part of a panel supported by a local public radio station – 89.1 KSTX. The topic of discussion – the DREAM Act and the problem of illegal immigration. Jonathon Bryant, a Government Studies teacher from John F. Kennedy High School attended the event along with some of his students (who, according to Bryant, may be illegals). Mr. Bryant asked a question of the panel about students that were illegal aliens and what should be done with them. After the president of the group affirmed his support for the laws governing illegal aliens in the schools, Mr. Bryant just couldn’t contain himself. He decided to levy a “Nazi” charge:

I listened to Perry last night on Hannity try to explain his stance saying something like “well they are alraedy here and we decided it would be better for them to be educated”. Really? WE HAVE INCURED THIS PROBLEM TO OURSELVES BY NOT ENFORCING THE LAW FROM THE BEGINNING. I work with teenagers in a minority majority school district. I am not part of the school system. It’s easy for a man that has NO relationship (such as the first man in the video) with the kids, to say send them back “in a heart beat”. That reply is cold and callous. I do not know over the years how many students that I have come to love are from illegal households. If you asked me to turn them in I would not do it. I am strongly against or borders being open, and believe we NEED to shut them down. I would also tell the students that I am against illegal immigration. WE as stated above caused this problem and WE need to find a solution that is not heartless. You make a mistake you pay for it.

Wouldn‘t you want to up hold the law and turn the child’s abuser in. If the student broke the law and brought a gun, knife or drugs into the school wouldn’t you want to up hold the law and report them. This is no different they are braking the law.
It is so sad that a teacher would bring all these students to this meeting and conduct himself so poorly. I’m sure nothing will happen to him but if I were a parent with a child at the his school I would be calling the school. We can be sure these students are not getting a balanced government education. Let the indoctrination of our children continue.

I homeschooled my son under a public charter school last year and in SECOND grade his “social studies” lesson was about Cesar Chavez…the first union organizer. MY SEVEN YEAR OLD SON was learning this as part of his school lessons. Parent’s you have no idea what your kids are learning, even if you think you do, so much goes on in the 7-8 hours when left to these brainwashed liberal minded “teachers”. This is how the progressives are pushing out their future armies, don’t you see? Privatize the schools, allow them to compete or FAIL. This will only serve to benefit our children, it rids teachers like this and social study lessons on America’s first union organizers.
I’m privately homeschooling all four of my children now. I will no longer be a part of or allow my children to be a part of this system.

Also, it is worth to note that not all teachers and districts are part of the NEA and expect govt pensions. My dad receives a pension but it was teacher contributed not govt contributed. She was very respectful( more than I can say about Mr Bryant), took my information and reported that the principal was in contact with the school board. She was surprised to hear that the teacher had brought a group of students with him!! I am tired of sitting back and letting people get away with this. It is time to take a stand against this kind of treatment from people that are being payed by our tax dollars! Just stick to teaching our kids correct principals and they will govern themselves!

The Texas Board of Education HAS NO IDEA how many illegals are in Texas public schools, and therefore, no idea how much it is costing Texas taxpayers! However it is estimated that along the border in school districts like Brownsville, TX ISD the illegal student population is approximately 60% of the total school district… The costs are very high, as many “commute” across the Brownsville International Bridge each day to go to school, and they and their parents pay ZERO school taxes.
The additional costs to American/Texas citizens is that there is also a performance hit when classrooms must deal with children who have less educational preparation and language barriers when they come from Mexico…The classroom teacher must work with the lowest common denominators

There are two titanic struggles occurring in America today.
