That’s It? DNC‘s ’Major Announcement’ is a Website Redesign

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” this morning, DNC Chairman and former Virginia Governor Tim Kaine revealed that the “major announcement” the committee touted yesterday is a redesign of the DNC’s website:

“Later on Today at George Washington University … I’m going to do a roll out of a new … web page for the DNC. It’s kind of a new look, new slogan, new tools. It‘s been about a decade since we’ve done this. And so we’re switching the focus from the DNC … [to] the people — Democrats, 75 million strong, proud to be Democrats.”

He also announced a new slogan: “Change that matters.”

Gretchen Carlson noticed the irony: “You’re using the word change again — we all know that was Obama’s moniker.”

“Yeah absolutely … and its working,” Kaine responded, citing the passage of a small business lending bill in the Senate yesterday.

its a paradigm shift–its not about parties anymore– its about the candidates representing the majority of the people– pundits are useless– danlinwhatevers logic is useless– you have to change the way you think to understand whats going on– its the internet thats making this revolution possible– the 11/2 elactions will be a mirror image of what the majority of americans want– i’ll guarantee it–

Even I overestimated the DNC. I expected them to at least use the Major Announcement to blast Republicans for “Holding Obama’s wonderful new, jobs-creating, infrastructure bill hostage.” Yet another swing and a miss by the Democrats.

How idiotic to think a web site is worthy of such press in this day and age. Another example of how out of touch they are. Running out of places to spend money? If you want “Change that matters” how about starting with jobs, border security and LESS SPENDING!

@D-BAGS – You are right. Dems have control of Congress and have for many years now. And look where we are. Oh, I know the name you are screaming at your computer monitor right now it “BUSH!!!!” That‘s a cowardly cop out for the inability to admit to Obama’s administration being amateur at best. Bush did not act alone. Did he do some stuff wrong? Yep. So did Congress. As soon as you pull your head out and realize it was both Dems and Repubs that got us here, you will be ready for “Change that matters”. All I see in your posts is a childish “Nanny Booboo” play to just stir things up.

      I agree.

This issue should be extremely important to anyone who believes in free speech. This has nothing to do with national security. This is a blatant attempt by the government to control information that is contrary to or questions their agenda. A population that is kept ignorant is easier to control and manipulate. Anyone who believes that this power will not be abused should look at the historical facts. How many times has government been caught trying to silence people or squash stories that either exposes their wrong doing or shows them in a bad light? The answer is MANY. The “too much information out there” comment of POTUS says it all. Why does the government fear and hate an information source that they don’t control? Because they want to control the information so that we know only what they want us to.

Now let’s take a look at their excuse for needing this control. They say that the infrastructure is at risk from cyberspace terrorists. Things like our water supply and power grid. They promote fear that the systems could be hacked and controlled or crashed by someone with a laptop. This is absolutely ludicrous. Most large power plants or water control systems are not even connected to the public internet. You would have to be on site and load a virus directly into their closed systems via a terminal there or with a USB device pre-loaded with a virus. This is not even an internet issue. It is a matter of on site security.

Remember, the internet is not “theirs”. The internet is NOT a government program. The internet is not funded by government. The internet is OURS and everybodies. Anything that is “vital to national security” does not belong on the internet. In almost all cases things that are of vital national security are on closed “pocket” networks which are not connected to the internet. Anything that might be a national security risk needs to be removed from OUR internet.

I wish THE BLAZE and other sources would bring this issue more to the forefront and shed more light on this extremely important fight for our freedom of speech. If we lose we could lose The Blaze and any other forums of free speech that are on the internet.

We know that they are only 19% of population and can NEVER be majority. The say they were the silent minority, but in reality they will be the angry losers. EVEN THE GOP DOES NOT WANT THEM>

Senator Graham (R, SC) states that the “Tea Party Movement” is unsustainable. Perhaps, that is just wishful thinking on Senator Graham’s part.

The fact is that it is that either the “Tea Party Movement” or Senator Graham will go the way of the Dodo bird.

A RINO like Senator Graham cannot survive in a nation of citizens that understand that FREEDOM RESULTS IN PROSPERITY AND THAT TYRANNY IS THE ROOT OF POVERTY AND DESPAIR. His statement proves that he understands his peril. Senator Graham’s early support of Cap and Trade proves he is an enemy of individual freedom (Capitalism) and a “Wannabe Peer.” RINOS like Senator Graham are more of a danger to the American Revolution than the admitted tyrants like Obama.

We the people will not yield to the tyranny of King George III even under “new management.”

My dear Danglingbags, I agree that communication is an important tool. However, the fact are that any party in power doesn’t truly listen to the people should be of considerable concern to all Americans including you DB. Contrary to what some may have been lead to believe, communicating your message is not as important as listening to the message being sent, and listening is an incredibly complex skill to master. If anyone in Washington truly listened to their districts constituents then they would inevitably hear that more Americans are now listening. Thank goodness for all that communication. I am neither Democrat nor Republican; I am however an American and any legislative representative (Federal, State, County, City, Neighborhood, etc) desiring my personal trust (vote) and the privilege of representing my wishes anywhere will have to show me that they can listen and follow directives from the majority of their own constituents. As a side note…I believe that we are all going to see an increasing number of minor or unaffiliated registered voters in the coming decades, and a powerful change in the political money machines that have become so entrenched in our society. So please don’t continue to clutch to the old standards of your party. Real change is achieved when they say “jump” and you can say “why” instead of “how high”.
