    These are so brainwashed by the Israeli hating media. If these people are not there all the time, how can they draw a biased conclusion. They make up facts to fit their hate filled agenda. Such as that the Jews are intentionally keeping Palistinians on a diet to stave them, that snipers intentionally shoot children in the head, and that that Hamas is unarmed and non violent protesters. What about the rockets that Hamas fires from School yards at civilian areas?

    It is pitiful that these people also side with the communist, American hating group Code pink. The reason they aren’t transporting anything, is because they are aiding the enemy (IE Terrorists). Are these people that blind, that they can’t see this?

Seeing how the Israelites/ Jews have been in the Middle East for over 6000 years and the muslims have been there since about 800 ad it seems pretty simple to me. My parents and my in-laws have told us so many stories of the swastikas painted on the door and the smashed windows in my grandparents’ grocery store, how they fled Germany to escape the coming nightmare of Hitler, etc. We lost so many great men and women in the pursuit of the defeat of those hatreds that come from progressivism and now, to see it all coming round again…it’s heartbreaking.

A rabbi should be the first, not the last, to reflect that bedrock teaching of our tradition.”
      AJC Executive Director David Harris as well as most clear thinking people beleive what Rabbi Ovadia Yos said is nonsence. I guess their are bigots in all walks of life.

In other words the Jewish people and Israel were set up to serve the Gentiles a point that Jesus made in many of his teaching.       To clarify what Rose said.

      International law (the 4th Geneva Convention) is very clear on two basic principles: the inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war and the prohibition of the transfer of civilians of the occupying Power to the occupied territory. Both are intended to prevent expansionism and the colonisation of occupied territories. Both complement another explicit principle of international law, namely the right of peoples to self-determination, a right that a colonial or occupying Power is obliged to respect.
      The act of transferring parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies ie. “settlers” alone makes it illegal. Clearly, Israel has run afoul of this aspect of International Law.

      But all that aside, this is a very different situation. Israel was created by some of the very same people who drafted this law. It isn‘t very honest to call everyone who doesn’t support israel an “anti-semite.” And it isn’t fair to automatically assume that every arab muslim who objects to “the occupation” as such either. Islam values this land as much as the Jews and Christians do. Any allusion to WW2 is misleading and false. Northern Ireland is a much better, but not a perfect, comparison.

      That said, there are reationary extreamist Islamists who REALLY do want all Jews in the area killed. Conversly, there are reationary Christians and Jews who want every Muslim in the area dead too.

      Everything I wrote is true and verifiable. If you really want to attack it there is a resonable arguement to make. That being: the GCIV doesn’t apply to wars fought in defense, only offensive wars, and since Israel was not the aggressor in the 1967 war it can do what it wishes with annexed lands it acquired as result. That is a very STRONG arguement that I can’t refute with my stated opinion or by citing international law.

      Perhaps, you should try to think before you call someone an “anti-semite.” I doubt you even know what it means. This is a very contentious situation that has valid points all around. There is no “good” and “bad” side. Both sides have attributes that can be described as such. For instance, Israel is a free, liberal and western democracy that just wants peace and yet confines Palestinians to militarized ghettos and kills rock-throwing protesters with its military. The Palestinians want a state, freedom, self determinism and yet they empower Hamas, with its stated genocidal goals, to high levels of their government. Both sides cripple their stated desires with fanatisism and religious hate.

      Its what the Greeks would have called Tragedy.

      Sinking the flotilla will just make martyrs out of the protestors on board. It would be much better to make the protestors appear foolish and helpless. A much better plan would be to stretch a steel cable and steel netting supported by buoys between two ships. When the flotilla crosses the barrier, the hull, propeller and rudder will be damaged. The flotilla will either be dead in the water or sail in circles.

      The lack of violence or sensationalism will make for boring news stories with little propaganda value. The Israelis can supply floatation equipment to protestors who choose to jump into the water and be arrested. Eventually, the ships can be towed away to any port that will accept them.

      Arab and European Anti-Semitism don’t really surprise me but this American blossoming of hate is incredibly disturbing.
      As a child, my entire family, dragging me along with them, was very active in the Civil Rights Movement….going on marches, participating in sit-ins, licking envelopes for various groups supporting the integration and freedoms of Black Americans and almost all the other White participants were Jewish…..so where does the hate from the people like Rev Wright and the Black woman in the video against Israel & the Jewish people come from?

      USAMEDIC3008: I like that response. Either you are I are incorrect. Through my personal observation I believe these people to be the spawn of Satan; however, I’m a nobody. Martin Luther believed them to be the spawn of the devil as well and he was the Bible teacher behind the Reformation. Maybe you should consider his writings before making a decision because after all not many people that ever walked the earth had as much understanding of the Scriptures as Martin Luther. I’d much rather be on the side with a knowledgeable man like Martin Luther than an ammateur such as Glenn Beck.

      Although I like GB and agree with him on about every other issue, he is dead wrong about the Jews.

      Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the flotilla is bringing food and humanitarian aid to the Palestinians. The Palestinians have no aid outside what the Israelis allow to pass through the border. Maybe if the Israelis let humanitarian aid (no weapons of course) pass freely to Gaza, the problem would go away. No?

      One thing I notice is the this website has a rapid anti-Semite, our friend TechEngineer. Tech, I suspect that your heritage and genealogy is Jewish. Am I right? Very few of your post don’t blame Jews for whatever the issue is at the time. You’re Jewish and you are filled with self-loathing. That’s my hypothesis to explain your hatred of Jews.

      Of course you are in the right place posting here. No one challenges you. Maybe they think you’re too crazy to respond to, or maybe they’re chicken, or maybe they agree with you. Personally, I think you should seek out counseling for your anger.
