The Dark Knight Arrives: Christian Bale Visits Victims of Aurora Shooting

Christian Bale might not really be Bruce Wayne, but to a hospital full of victims of a possible would-be Joker, he certainly seems to have acquitted himself heroically. The “Dark Knight Rises” star visited Denver, Colorado today, with his wife Sibi Blazic, to pay a visit to the victims of the shooting and express his condolences.

Cynics in the audience can rest assured that this was not a publicity stunt for the movie – in fact, Warner Brothers had nothing to do with the visit. It appears that Bale was simply so affected by the shooting that he simply had to visit the survivors.

The visit reportedly went well. Hospital staff spoke glowingly of his cooperativeness and positive demeanor, and praised the positive effect that his visit had on the patients.

Naturally enough, the patients were ecstatic.

“Wow!!! Thank you so much for the visit Christian!! What a great guy! Still in shock!” wrote victim Carey Rottman after his meeting with Bale.

Bale also paid a visit to the makeshift memorial for the victims, bringing his own flowers and mingling with other mourners.

Well done, Mr. Bale! Your act of kindness, consideration and generosity in visiting those in the hospital and thanking the staff shows your heart is very good and in the right place. You brightened everyone’s day by taking some time out of your own. I’m sure your heart feels better for doing in. You don’t know me and I have absolutely no role in your life, but I’m very proud of you and wish you many Blessings!! Thank you for making a bit of good news out of this!

Good thing Obama isn’t a Muslim. As for me, I could never vote for Mitt Romney, because I can’t vote for a man who got rich by destroying companies, on top of the fact that he is a man with no convictions who will change his position at a moment’s notice if he thinks it will buy him a couple more votes.

      Hey Van Jones,
Obama is a flip-flopping(gay marriage)-millionaire(how did that happen by community organizing)-muslim(all the trips to muslim countries and none to Israel and lets muslim brotherhood in White House). But who needs evidence when you got welfare.

Obama is the first Christian in history named Hussein. Didn’t you know that? And just because he was raised in a Madrassa in muslim Indonesia, knows all the prayers, and that his entire family is either muslim or communists doesn’t mean anything. Because hating white people is more important in Jeremiah Wright’s Church than anything else.

So of course he’s not a muslim. He’s the anti-Christ. Muslims can’t destroy Christianity as fast as he can.

While I‘m not a fan of Bale’s acting nor am I really a fan of him as a person to be honest, that is pretty upstanding of him to take some time out of his probably busy schedule right now to do that. So I ‘ll give em credit where it’s due. How I feel about him as a person just went up a few notches in my book at least.

I hope he doesn’t feel guilty. There’s quite enough of that in our society. He is a good actor, making a great living in entertainment. A 1 percenter who through hard work, dedication, talent, and luck made a great living.

Yeah, I had a very tainted image of Bale for a long time, despite being a really big fan of a lot of his movies, after his Terminator blow up. I didn‘t know that he had made a very sincere and heartfelt apology until several years later and I realized that the T3 incident wasn’t who he was; I remembered that he’s a flawed human prone to making mistakes. This visit of his to the Colorado victims and mourners really cements the kind of guy he is in my eyes.

How refreshing! When so many Hollywood elitists are using this tragedy to make political hay and push the lib agenda, here is a real man with real feelings actually DOING something to help that community, instead of just running his mouth. My heart goes out to the survivors, and it is warmed by the smiles in those photos. Kudos to Mr. Bale.

So, are you claiming that all the noise we heard from celebrities over the past few days was NOT agenda-driven? Or maybe you’re trying to say that it was coming from Conservative Hollywood elitists? Or are you simply feigning ignorance in order to claim some moral high ground? What, exactly, are you trying to say? Never mind. Isn’t there a bridge you should be under? Those billy goats are just trip-trapping away!

RJJJ. You are so right. That saying btw brings back memories, lol.

BRUCE P. Well, I’ll try to bring what I wrote into some perspective then (as I pulled up the clip of Bale “going off” to make sure I wasn’t rushing off to judgement. Nope, I wasn’t rushing off to judgement based on what I saw and heard.

The perspective I was going to write about is that when I was a Drill Sergeant way back when in the Army, I was paid to “go off” as part of my job (a very practiced act). There were other occasions in the Military where I “went off” bringing into perspective that the actions of some were or might be a matter of life and death.

Bale however acted like a Hollywood Prima Donna, no life or death involved (not paid to “go off as part of that job’s demands) and “acted” like a complete A-hole and psychotic..

I don’t know where you work, but if one of my current employees “went-off” like he did, they’d most likely be on the unemployment line that day (or worse) as would most employees in the “real world” based on what I saw on the clip.
