The Five‘s Bob Beckel Drops The ’F’ Word on Live TV … Again

It’s not the first time that it has happened, but it could be the last. Bob Beckel, co-host of Fox News’ The Five, on Tuesday dropped the big, almighty “F” bomb on live TV … again.

The “momentary lapse of reason” occurred when, during a panel discussion on Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) plan to reform Medicare, co-host Eric Bolling poked Beckel in the shoulder.

Unsurprisingly, this didn’t go over well with the infamously cantankerous Beckel.

“If you do that one more time, you’re f**king toast!” Beckel growled and then immediately covered his mouth in embarrassment.

Bolling soldiered on with the point he was trying to make, but it doesn’t seem anyone was listening. They were still in shock over Beckel’s on-air foul up. The panel quickly demanded Beckel apologize and he complied.

      Yea, MSNBC has the same problem with Al Sharpton. They will never be able to get rid of him and he will bring that sorry excuse for a news station down.

      Don’t worry, I never watch any liberal news stations, I have cable and they are able to measure anyone that has cable that tunes-in in 15 minute blocks. One second you tune in – counts for 15 minutes of viewer ship. If Conservative only knew how much money that are giving to Liberal Networks just by tuning in for a few minutes.

      But this is the THIRD time in the past two months or so that Bob has been unable to keep from using foul words. I’m beginning to think he is doing it on purpose to get FOX fined. OR he might be so terribly embarrassed about being a big Lib who “turns tricks” for FOX that he is TRYING to get fired. Seriously, how many times does he have to do this before he gets replaced? Surely they can find a liberal who can maintain a civil tone. Anyone?? .. Bueller??

      It’s Cable……the FCC can’t fine FNC. It can only fine if it’s done over broadcast tv.

      Somebody has to keep reminding Bob he’s no longer in the Bar. I hope FNC doesn’t fire him, he’s the crazy Uncle everybody knows about. If anything it will get more crazy Libs to watch the show.

      Please have some sympathy for Bob. He was hired to be surrounded by four others who obviously disagree with his liberal ideology. Part of the schtick is that he is supposed to be able to take the ribbing fro the other four. He was offered I’m guessing a LOT of money to degrade himself to that level. Quite frankly, I get annoyed watchng him spew. More often than not, his complete ideological incompetance offers me insights as to how to deal with the progressive boobs I encounter daily. Bob Beckel must hate getting up every day to go to work. I’d keep him there. Maybe one day, the liberal ideologue may see the light….and then help fix the cultural problem we have in America. Wishful thinking I know. But, it’s good to see the contrast between rational folks and liberals. Beckel was handed a gift job and only has to state his point and then let the others make theirs. I don’t know i I would do it…..but, I know he’s getting paid handsomely to do it. If he loses the gravy train job over this, he’s proved his stupidity.

      I used to be offended when I heard him do this but sadly, it’s old hat now. It’s more difficult for me to watch the rest of the team run to rescue him. “it’s not his fault” They have the same problem with Imus. Yesterday he called his son “a little bastard”. That was too much for me. No one has called him out on that comment. This guy calls everyone vile names but we seem to have forgotten his racist comments. Come on Fox, man up o the plate.

I don’t understand why Fox, Hannity, and The Five even tolerate the bigoted blowhard. I don’t watch The Five because of him – you can’t even hear what the others are trying to say usually because of him.

      I agree with those who say they can’t stand to watch this show because of the idiot Beckel. I get so angry at his ideological stupidity that I simply can’t bear watching the show. It was much the same when Alan Colmes was on with Hannity until FOX wised up and got rid of him. If I want to waste my time on liberal pap, I’ll watch MSNBC.

      I don’t mind a reasonable progressive who al least admits his fundamental axioms as the basis for his agenda, but morons like Beckel and Colmes are knee jerk leftists who add nothing whatsoever to intelligent discussion.

      The show should really be called the 4 on 1 since he gets ganged up on. I think he handles himself pretty well for the most part. I disagree with everything he says, but he does a fair job at keeping himself in check when he has 4 people laughing at him constantly. Let him keep his job.

      The only “good” thing, if you can call it good, is that it‘s cable so the FCC has no say over what’s broadcast.

      It’s not on FCC “controled” airwaves. Just as you can watch shows on cable (HBO, for example; ever see an expisode of “The Wire” in the past? More F-bombs than you can count.) Of course, Fox being a news network, does not like or want F-bombs, but the FCC would not take any action. “Action” would have to come from Fox management.

      DB321, I’m with you on that one I never watch MSNBC,CNN,ABC,NBC,OR CBS unless there’s a sporting event on one of them. Fact is if cable were ala carte those channel wouldn’t even be on my t/v in the first place. Cable providers protect channels like those by packaging instead of allow customers to pick exactly what the want.

      It bothers me how the FOX people around Beckel always patronize him as a good guy. If he was a really a good guy, there would be no need to say he was a good guy. With Eric Bolin waving his hand and finger and accidentally poking Beckel on the shoulder in the process, Beckel gets irate and launches an F bomb attack on Eric Bolin…not a sign of “good guy”. Beckel needs to go.

I often take time in my speech to use words other than this one in my speech, although, it sometimes fits better than any other. I for one like Bob on the show, it is interesting to see how frustrated he gets when he is spouting the Lefts talking points. Like the former Speaker of the House told Solidad Obrien, he should have an Obama bumper sticker on his forehead when he talks like this. It is just the way they are!

      If Fox News wants to maintain any credibility with its viewers, they will can Beckel. He continually does this, and then he apologizes, but at this point, I think that he does it intentionally. It is not cute, Bob. Fox needs to make a decision what they are going to do with him. At a minimum, they need to suspend him and dock his pay during his suspension. Beckel is not that good. He comes on The Five and Hannity ill-prepared. The other panelists have their facts lined up, and Bob shoots from the hip. And, beyond the occasional f-bomb, he is rude and offensive. He regularly throws offensive comments at conservatives, such as the Tea Party and Col. Alan West. Fox, it is time for Bob to go. He adds nothing to your ratings; maybe he hurts as viewers click off he television after one of his rants or foul-mouthed comments.

      Eric Bolling apologized for hitting Beckel and that is supposed to fix it? I don’t know how Dana Perino, Andrea Tantaros, and Kimberly Guilfoyle can sit with him every day. It took FIVE to try to replace Glenn and they are failing miserably. Maybe if beck Beckel is fired, they can change the name of the show to “THE FOUR” and their ratings will go up.       Fecal matter flies out of Beckel’s mouth, and with the same orifice he eats. His foul language denigrates Fox News. Beckel is a small child who constantly tests the Fox producers to see what vulgar behavior/language he can get away with, and he obviously is doing a good job of pushing the producers around with this behavior. If they really cared about the integrity of FOX, they would get rid of this foul mouthed angry liberal. If they want another liberal to replace him, get one like Juan Williams. While I do not agree with Juan’s liberal views, he has integrity and class unlike Beckle.

      I am 78 years old and have been watching FOX longer that most of you have been alive. I was watching the other day when he again(he has done it before ) dropped the F-Bomb. This is getting ridiculous !! They seem to laugh , apoligize and just gone on with the show. This man should be escorted out sooner rather than later. Replace, if you HAVE to be blanced, and get Juan Williams (At least he does not cuss , altho he is likewise overbearing.) Bob uses the SAME old talking points and mumbles them at best, with that smug look on his face. Also, he needs to see a doctor for that cough as well as his constance references to women and Booze. He is an abomanation. HE MUST GO, untill then I can no longer watch the five. Jan ,Amelia Island , FL>

      I disagree with Bob 95% of the time, but he is a perfect example of why the Dems are wrong on almost every issue. This is what FOX Five exposes on every show, every day with Bob speaking out on the issues, everyone can see the Dem stupidity for themselves.
      The only other choices they have for Beckel is Juan Williams and Alan Colmes, which both are totally ignorant and too belligerent.

      There are a few dems that are reasonable enough that if they were on this show, I would watch it. When I try to watch it now, my mute button is getting worn out because of this Beckle jerk. Can’t watch the show, which is too bad because a couple of the others are worth the listen.

      I avoid the 5 for the same reason. If I want to watch the bob’s of the world I can tune in MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS. and on and on. I tune them out for a reason….. and the 5 too.

    Fat Bob needs to receive a ceremonial slap of the female canine from Gutfeld. He says he’s always been a fighter (happened to see that at the end of The Five my wife was watching), but there’s a difference between fighting (and losing) and having a terminal potty mouth on tv. I can cuss with the best of ‘em and frequently do, but I know when and when not to cuss.

      You’re rather pathetic to think my comments were directed at you. I stated my opinion and you seem to have a problem with it. My intent was not to threaten you but to say that when someone puts their hands on a person physically (or hits someones shoulder in this case) they have chosen to make the confrontation physical therefore a physical response is well within reasonable bounds. Beckel actually held back but made a verbal warning in no uncertain terms. My response would have been physical in return hence my “spitting teeth” comment.My intent was not to scare you or threaten you,I don’t need to.As much as I disagree with Beckel on issues he was well within his rights to say what he did and I felt he showed restraint by not laying the dumbass out. You however seem to be the poster child for the feminization of the American male.
