There are not many words that can describe what you’re about to hear. But it involves catchy guitar strumming, lots of rhyming words, and a heavy dose of country twang. And it’s all part of a supposed official campaign push.
Keith Stamm is hoping to become the mayor of Reading, PA. As part of his attempt to get noticed — and solidify his message — he’s released what WFMZ-TV is describing as an official campaign song. And boy, you won’t soon forget it, that’s for sure. In fact, you might soon curse Keith Stamm for setting his political message to such a catchy melody.
“If you’re tired of the politics in Reading, Keith Stamm‘s the man you’ll keep in mind,” goes one of the song’s repeated refrains. It continues: “Keith Stamm’s the man, Keith Stamm’s, Keith Stamm’s the man they call him no-scam Stamm.”
For your listening pleasure below:
Stamm was formerly the president of the local school board.
“One of the biggest reasons I’m running is that I feel the mayor (Tom McMahon) doesn’t have the leadership the city needs at this time in its history to be able to move forward,” he told the Reading Eagle.
And I’m betting Stamm has him beat in campaign jingles, too.

Truth is we would be far better off with Larry the Cable guy and Junior Samples running the Admin than the pin heads we have now. At least Larry and Junior know how to pour pee from a boot with the instructions on the heel…..a great depression necessity for hobos riding box cars….better learn again.

Posted on April 25, 2011 at 6:24pmSigh. We have become a society swayed only by a lyric.. We seems to want The Donald to be Prez to fire someone or simon to to just make a snarky comment about some leaders talent. If we get just the right matchup, our dancing with the state dept. winner can lead us all to…. What.. When the only hope you have is a catchy tune we are all lost. Tell us your values and show your voting record and be a man when you talk about your convictions. . This is silly.

Posted on April 25, 2011 at 6:16pmThe timing sucks. We need Republicans with a “pair” and we get nothing…..with one exception (Trump). That’s ok. The liberals and their ilk will have their day in the sun for seven years and then it’s over forever.

And it fulfills a stereotype that hillbilly’s are only capable of unsophisticated pedantic bravado for use as music.
Watch for CA Rep. Loretta Sanchez to use this same song in HER re-election campaign.
