The Revolution WILL Be Televised! Occupy Maine Debuts New Show

Occupy protesters may have been evicted from an encampment in Portland, ME, but the protesters aren’t taking it lying down (any activities in the tents notwithstanding). A group of the former encampment leaders have instead taken to making their own TV show, which features interviews with fellow Leftists, as well as commentary on current events. The show is currently on its 4th episode, which can be viewed here:
The show features three anchors – Brian Leonard, Bob Klotz and Regis Tremblay. However, not all of these three men fit the typical model of an Occupy protester. While Klotz and Leonard appear to be your standard occupiers, Tremblay has a more complicated background. In fact, as recently as 2010, Tremblay was Director of Public Information and Education at the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. He even hosted a TV show about Maine Fisheries and Wildlife:
Readers can form their own opinions about what a former government functionary in charge of environmental issues would be doing on an Occupy-themed TV show. However, Tremblay certainly mouths the talking points well, calling Occupy a “global revolution.” Some other highlights of his commentary:
The 99 percent are mostly employed, taxpaying, civic-minded, honest people who have woken up to the truth: the American Dream no longer exists. The Constitution has been trampled upon, and our Founding Fathers betrayed. We are here to stay, and growing in numbers every day. Those who still claim to not understand or know what the movement is about, well, they are simply disingenuous or hopelessly in denial about what is now a global protest against corporate greed, crimes committed by financial systems, and governments that do not represent the people.
When we talk about income disparity, we are not talking about giving our hard-earned money away to anyone else. This isn’t about sharing the wealth — the fact is, over the past 40 years, the wealthiest one percent have seen their income grow by 360 percent, while income for the 99 percent has remained flat.
And when it comes to taxes, we are only asking that the wealthy pay their fair share. This isn’t class warfare, this is common sense.
The movement has now occupied the collective consciousness of the entire world. We not only demand change, but we demand that democracy be handed back to the people.
The environmentalist air of the protest doesn’t stop with the appearance of a former government functionary in charge of wildlife, either. The TV show also features an interview with Bill McKibben, an environmentalist who has been credited by some sources as responsible for leading the fight against the Keystone Pipeline. McKibben credits the Obama administration for “standing up to the oil industry a bit” in the interview, and adds, “we can’t stop global warming one pipeline at a time.”

I just think that most of the actions taken by these people appear to be destructive, invasive to the general public welfare and very costly in damage and over time pay to local police departments.
From watching live stream at the Oakland demonstration all I could see were large crowds taking over the streets and causing traffic to have to back up to find an alternate route so that they could avoid the crowds.
Never mind the people wanting to go down town to shop or work or for whatever reasons they needed to be there they were unable to get there. It also appears that the messages that they are trying to convey seem to be jumping all over the place from one issue to another.
If the OWS crowd ever gets a clear concise message and are able to articulate it without the silly mic check and walking around chanting from a sheet of paper maybe people would take them seriously.

Maine is an interesting state. The comments he makes are exactly the things most people are upset with, however, I believe they are being deliberately deceiving.
This kind of double-speak is what suck in the uninformed to their cause. They get gullible people to join their cause with these types of comments, then they use them to destroy the wreak havok.
In the latter days, many will be deceived, even the very elect.

When the orchestration of assailant and police “force” finally is given the “green light” we will see blood in the streets and lives lost, giving them reason to bring down martial law conditions all over the country. (NDAA ring a bell) So ANYONE not on their team (registered member) will be labeled and dealt with as they see fit. The OWS Groups then will start being co-opted by the unions (army) and finally the islamists (special forces) for those special needs situations where people will die. Look “They” own the OWS crouwd, “They” own the Police and they orchestrate both sides to maximum effect, making sure there is a camera at the scene they control, of course. The game is not a game, it is remeniscent of a musical production from the 40‘s or 50’s movie screens. WAKE UP NOW!
The only way to stop it now is for an ACT OF GOD to rattle this nation and throw off thier timeline. OR for the AMERICAN PEOPLE to WAKE UP and not play into their hands. The OWS will turn on their master (Obama) because he will betray them and when that happens, they will rise up against him and be the instrument that starts the oppressiive machine into action. Giving them reason to CONTROL all citizens.

Not only are many of the programs making jabs against consrvatives and Christians but allot of the programs during so called family hour are vulgar. Two and a Half Men and Two Broke Girls. Also Glee, and Jersey Shores which are both popular among teens. I go into the kitchen and read or get on my computer, but I can hear some on the dialogue. Nearly every weekly program is guilty of the bashing of us and praises the OWS and the progressives. It is a sad and frightening world that our children are being exposed to through TV, schools and magazines. It is overwhelming and scares me. The progressives have all bases covered. God help us.

Mitt Romney paid 15% and Warren Buffett paid less and I paid a LOT more than 15%. I am a business owner and employer of 20 people and I pay more in taxes than multimillionaire hedge fund managers and trust fund babies.

Tax rates are different depending on the type of income; earned, investment, etc.
What is a fair rate for earned income?
What is a fair rate for investment income?
