The Road to ‘Restoring Courage’: Glenn Explains Logical Path to Israel Event

On the heels of announcing the “Restoring Courage” rally to take place this August in Jerusalem, Glenn Beck took some time today to explain how he arrived at the idea. From his office, he connects the dots from the 9/12 Project and the 40 Day/40 Night Challenge to the the Restoring Honor rally last summer in D.C., to now the large event in Jerusalem:

These scriptures of prophecy speak of what Glenn is doing. Can‘t help but wonder if it is prophecy of this event or Glenn’s efforts. It’s exciting to be living in these times and witnessing this. What a great work!

latter-day seer to be raised up when work commences unto restoring house of Israel, 2 Ne. 3:11–13

Okay, I know this scripture is a prophecy that has already been fulfilled and is not in regards to the current events, I became so excited I read through it a second time and realized what it was in reference to. But I still must say there are countless scriptures that speak of these times we are living in and we will see wonderful things come to pass!!

In order to help Isreal, I think we first have to help ourselves. God forbid Obama should win reelection in 2012 — the Muslims will see that as a sign of America’s continuing decline and will be emboldened to do what appears to come naturally to them (i.e., slaughter and pillage). If we fall or lose our way, Isreal will lose their last and best friend, and how long will they last then? By all means, do whatever you can to support Isreal, but I think we have to save ourselves first in order to help save them.

INDEED “Osama bin Laden’s central theme is the suffering and humiliation of the Muslims in the hands of non-Muslims led by the USA. He conveys a pan-Islamic nationalist worldview that Muslims have been facing an existential threat from forces led by the U.S.” This is the central theme also of millions of Muslims. However, the way to defend against this is not the violence. His theme will live even with those who very much disagree with his means to achieve the goal.
OBL advised the Muslims all over the world , they must continue their struggle to abolish the lordship of non muslims over muslim countries and establish the islamic shariah for the pleasure of Allah and for the success in the Life Hereafter.
Osama Bin Laden will be remembered as the anti-imperialist hero . Indeed he was a freedom fighter, at war with imperialists and the time will tell whether his methods are justified or not.
The best way to render al-Qaeda ineffective would be to reduce the political tensions between “the world system” and the world of Islam. In other words, it would be only a disaster if America decides to broaden its “war on terror,” by bombing or occupying Muslim lands, or by unrestrainedly supporting countries that do so, such as Israel. That will only heighten the feeling, “the Muslim ummah and Islam is under attack,” and thus create new recruits for jihad. If you want to prevent the rise of such militants, then you should make their base safe and respected, not threat

Bin Laden was not only at war with “imperialists” but with three-quarters of the Muslim faithful worldwide. He would have hated any democracies born of the Arab Spring as much as he hated the despotisms they overthrew.

“Whether his methods are justified or not?” What could justify killing 3000 innocent people, not as collateral damage in an authentically military operation but in a criminal seizure and kidnapping?

A pity you seem to justify this murderer, because much of what you say has merit. Bin Laden hated America not in the abstract but for very definite things it has done: military intervention in Muslim lands, support for corrupt dictators and dynastic relics, and unthinking support for almost anything done by almost any Israeli government.

Obama has at least rethought the first two, and seems to be working on the third. This bodes well both for Arabs and Israelis, though the main business of making peace wiil be their responsibility, not America’s.

Since modern day Israel is not occupied by the chosen people of God, the Israelites, which were both a people, the descendants of the patriarch Jacob/Israel, and the historical population of the kingdom of Israel, or a follower of the God of Israel and Mosaic law. In Modern Hebrew usage, an Israelite is, broadly speaking, a lay member of the Jewish faith, as opposed to the priestly orders of Kohenim and Levites. The people of modern day Israel are not these people. Many are eastern European Jews, Armienian, etc, etc, etc…… The true decendents of the Twelve Tribes have been lost to history.

Example: If I would have been born in the U.S. to Irish Catholic parents then converted entirely to Judaism, am I a Jew? No, I am an Irishman that practices the Jewish faith!

People, I know many of you are much more educated than I am. But, it is an indisputable fact of history with a very, very rare exception, the current citizens of the nation of Israel are simply persons of various ethnicities practicing Judaism! They are not the the Israelites of the Bible. The modern country was created to warehouse a people that no other nation wanted after WWII. Read some history and your Bibles and get your heads out of the sand!

“The modern country was created to warehouse a people that no other nation wanted after WWII.”
Actually the country already existed and was owned at the time by England. It wasn’t “created”. England gave the land to the Jewish people after WWII. NOT because no one wanted them, but because of the persecution and gross human rights violations they endured during the holocaust. It was England’s decision to give Israel to the Jews. To quote, “Read some history and your Bibles and get your head out of the sand!”

DNA studies of Jews show common genetic patterns that link them together, and also genes that resemble those of Europeans in European Jews, Turkic peoples in Central Asian Jews and even Africans in such black peoples as the Lemba of southern Africa who follow oddly “Mosaic” customs. The conclusion must be that “Judaism” as a religion and “Jewishness” as an ethnicity are not the same but do overlap to a considerable degree. Modern “Israelis” are not the same ethnically as ancient “Israelites,” but neither are they Poles, Ukrainians, or Germans, even if some of their recent Ashkenazi ancestors lived in Europe.

“Palestine” was a loose geographical term that only referred to a political entity with defined boundaries between 1920 and 1948, the period of the British mandate. The British did not create the State of Israel, though they did help lay its foundations by their commitment to Jewish immigration under the Balfour Declaration and the terms of the mandate. By WWII they had begun to walk that back in the face of Arab protests. It was when the British withdrew in 1948 that the yishuv was at last free to proclaim its state.

I challenge you to give me a passage of anything I‘ve posted that’s been cut-and-pasted with even slight modifications. Now or at any later time.

Perhaps you think I am some sort of pseudo-intellectual because most of my posts are free of glaring grammatical errors, hilarious misspellings (other than the occasional typo) and insults. I’ll try to throw in a few more of those from now on, now that you’ve alerted the Blazers to my charlatanry!

Seriously, though, I hope you at least realized that we actually agree that modern Israelis are not exclusively direct lineal descendants of the ancient Israelites. But those whose families immigrated from, say, Poland or Germany do have genetic peculiarities–which they share with Lemba or Karaites that set them apart from Poles and Germans. At the same time they are more like Poles or Germans than Jews whose families immigrated from Morocco or Yemen, as common sense would suggest anyway.

Almost all Jews probably have some ancestors who lived in ancient Judaea. Whether this gives them a better claim to the land than the Palestinians–many of whom are recent immigrants there as well, their ancestors having been drawn in by Zionist economic development–I can’t say.

Best wishes, looking forward to hearing from you again!

I am not very religious at all. And because of that I look at this without using the bible. But even though I am not all that religious, I know for fact Glenn is on to something. People who sit there and shout, “Glenn Beck is only doing this because he’s a Mormon!“ or ”Glenn Beck is only doing this because he believes the return of Christ is coming!” are really honestly and truthfully over looking the point Glenn is giving.

Israel happens to be surrounded by people that want nothing more than to massacre a race of people. Last time I checked my mama said that’s evil. Yet, people try to paint that country as a bunch of hate mongers when in all reality all they want to do is live in peace and be left alone. They don’t even wish harm on those who wish to slaughter them in cold blood. Proof of that is accepting peaceful Muslims into their country with open arms or not quite frankly, blowing up the middle east.

Yet American’s around the country are standing with the radical Muslims that are just as bad, if not worse than a Nazi German. After World War II, the world frowned on people who partook in the slaughtering the Jews. It take a holocaust for people to stand with them. This time we shouldn’t wait for them to be prosecuted! It‘s high tide we note what’s evil and shun it and stand with the peaceful and good. It is time we stand with Israel.

Those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it-who said that? Are we beginning to repeat the beginning of world war II? Just give up a little portion of Israel and it will be o.k. Sound familiar? I believe Glenn is saying to the world this is another moment in history, which will you do this time ? Who’s side are you on? I refusr to get into debates about religion-what’s impotantis history, starting with the bible and going up through world wars. If you can’t figure out from history it has always been good versus evil, you don’t understand this world and the purpose for it. It is for man’s perfection to return to God, and go on to further learning and growth, called eternity. The same cycle keeps on being repeated-man works with God and keeps his commandments-then he decides he is smarter than God and tries to run things on his own. Then evil tries to take over, man gets scared and calls on God to fix it. But friends there is an endgame . This world was never meant to be infinite. Guessing when the end is, is pretty tough, but there are clues. If we don’t get the clues, well our bad. He is on His time, not ours. He is only going to give us so many chances to get this right, and we cannot control the other side.

Again I ask, how many expatriated Israeli’s here in the United States, and American Jews, support this trip? Why do we never here from the Jewish community about their beloved Israel being under attack, either on MSM or Fox News/Glenn’s show?? Isn’t this their “heartland”? Either they have lost their love of home country, or don’t care whether Israel falls. That’s not what you want people to know, is it Glenn?

I so disagree with the need to make an expensive trip over there to ‘stand’ with Israel. Solidarity isn’t found just in this manner. How about we gather here in the United States? with those of Israel here in the United States?? How about a 40 day/night challenge for prayer for Israel, HERE??

It’s my understanding that Glenn has “asked” people to make the trip “if they can”, not “whether or not they can”. It sounds to me like he has said, “This is where I am going to be and if you want to come I’ll be glad to see you there!” I’ve never once heard him say, “Use your credit cards, max out your credit, sell your jewelry to come to Israel. Make sure to pick up the Glenn tote and hat, and if you‘re hungry Glenn’s falafel stands are open on every corner!” It seems to me that Glenn would do what he is doing whether or not he was making money. I don’t personally know him, so I can’t say what his intentions are with certainty. It also seems to me that it is contradictory to call him an idiot in one breath and turn around and say that he is the greatest con artist in television history with the other…. I give him (as well as all other pundits and TV personalities) the courtesy of belief until it is proven to me that he/they are charlatans. Liveprayer‘s Bill Keller Calls Mormon Cult Member Beck’s Israel Rally a SCAM on Christians
    Contact: Bill Keller, Liveprayer.com, 727-420-7005, bkeller@liveprayer.com

ST PETERSBURG, Fla., May 17, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ — Bill Keller, leader of the world’s largest interactive Christian website for 12 years, Liveprayer.com, with over 2.4 million subscribers worldwide reading his Daily Devotional, is calling Mormon cult member Glenn Beck’s rally in Israel this August “his latest scam on the Christian community, and an exploitation of Israel that plays on the love Christians have for the Jewish people and the land of Israel.”

Keller said, “the Bible says that we are not to be bound together with unbelievers. It asks what fellowship the light has with the darkness?” He went on, “the Bible says in Galatians why we are so quick to desert the one who called you to the grace of Christ and are turning to a different Gospel.”

Mitt Romney and media giant Beck, takes the evangelical position that Mormon doctrine is 100% inconsistent with Biblical Christianity and that a Mormon is no more a Christian than a Muslim is.

I find it interesting how so many people can claim to be “open minded” and yet harbor such narrow opinions on Glenn and his religious beliefs. What does it matter that Glenn wants to hold an event in Jerusalem? Isn’t it his right to do so if he wishes? If it is meant to uplift and bring people closer to God or to help others just desire to do good I see no problem with it. Its not like he’s forcing anyone to go. He’s definitely not trying to cram his beliefs down any ones throat.

His intentions, I believe are good and pure. His desire to help people is genuine. He has been right on many occasions and when he is wrong he’s humble/man enough to admit it. All I’ve heard Glenn preach since I came across his show is to remember your past and those who have gone before you, do something with your present, be prepared for the future, and to not take his word for it but do your own homework.

Remember this saying “by their works ye shall know them; for if their works be good, then they are good also.” I‘ve done my homework and have found Glenn’s works to be good. Now I invite you to do the same.

“would one of you bible quotin holier than thou types help me out on this one?” Do I senses a hit of mockery there? :)

No I don’t think Jesus smiles when his brothers and sisters mock or make fun of each other. He would rather we all get along and follow Him. But unfortunately that’s not going to happen any time soon. At least not until He returns and reins over the whole earth.

No body is perfect. I’m not perfect, your not perfect, and Glenn Beck isn’t perfect ether. Glenn himself had stated that he shouldn‘t mock or poke fun but that’s just how he deals with what he does every day. And I believe that’s why they call it entertainment. But I’ve never heard him “spew hate” about anyone including his enemies. I’ve just heard him speak the truth, and well some times the truth is hard for the wicked to swallow.

I’d be happy to quote story after story in the scriptures where the followers of God would speak out against the wicked and were persecuted for it. I’m pretty sure the people who where being rebuked for wickedness were saying “those men of God are spewing hate and lies about us, lets silence them.”. Lets face it the people today don’t like being told they are doing evil, anymore than people of old did. And unfortunately the line between good and evil is not very discernible to many people anymore (which it is prophesied that would be the case in the last days).

I don’t pretend to know all the answers but I do know where to look for them. He has provided a way for us to learn what we need to do in this life in order to return to Him. His Son Jesus Christ paved the way for all men who seek truth to find it. One example is found In the book James where His servant councils us “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith nothing wavering…”

Would you rather drink from murky waters that have been tainted by the opinions of men or would you rather go to the source and drink the crystal clear water of truth? He said “if any of you lack wisdom…“ which every one does ”let him ask of God…” which is pretty self explanatory. And that doesn’t just apply to spiritual things that apples to everything. God cares about us more than we could ever know and wants to help us in our hardships and in all of our righteous pursuits. “that giveth to all me liberally and upbraideth not…” God will answer our prayers and give us knowledge liberally(which means freely or generously) and will not punish us for asking. “and it shall be given him…” He will answer our sincere heartfelt prayers.

“But let him ask in faith nothing wavering…” Faith is a principle of action and power in all intelligent beings. Everyone exercises faith in all aspects of there lives, yes even the atheist. God knows your heart and intentions. therefor

Many of America’s founding principles were first enunciated in his sermons. He was the spirit behind the overall direction the founding fathers finally coalesced around.

It is funny to listen to those of the “God is Dead” crowd cry out under their breath “Dear God Help us” when they see the Communists ripping the foundation of America’s prosperity from under our feet.

Brietbart is among these ranks as one of those clueless intellectuals who just cannot see the connection between, in his words the “God thing” and a cohesive, prosperous society.

Do I agree with Hagee on everything… nope. Do I think Glenn does just because they are friend? I don’t, but you seem like you do. Oh well, judge and be judged now days i guess.

Glenn is a good man, with good intentions. However he will not find his answers in the Land of Israel nor in the city of Jerusalem. What Glenn seeks cannot be found in a city or a location. George Washington knew what Glenn seeks. George Washington was a biblical student and knew the truth. He understood the word of our Father. He understood who the house of Israel was and he understood who his brother the Bariyth-iysh (British of the house of Joseph) were. He understood the prophecy concerning the House of Joseph and his two sons. The prophecy of Manasseh and Ephraim is given in Genesis chapter 48. The prophecy concerning Ephraim fits Great Briton to a tee, and the prophecy concerning Manasseh fits the USA. Brother nations of the tribe of Israel of the house of Joseph. The word British is taken from two hebrew words Bariyth and Iysh. Bariyth meaning covenant and Iysh meaning men. The covenant which was given to Abraham. passed to Isaac then to Jacob (Israel) and then to Ephraim. It remans there with Ephraim, until this very day. Why do you think all royalty in the UK are coronated upon the stone called Jacobs pillar (also know as the stone of scone)?

This is what George Wahington knew, that Glenn does not know. Glenn will not be able to bring all the worlds religions together. It was never intended that they be brought together by anyone other than the anti-christ, who will join them as one under Abraham, in Jerusalem (Revelation 11, 13, 17).

Just to let you know, the term British simply means the people who live in Britannia. Britannia is an ancient term for Great Britain, and also a female personification of the island. The name is Latin, and derives from the Greek form Prettanike or Brettaniai, which originally designated a collection of islands with individual names, including Albion or Great Britain. However, by the 1st century BC Britannia came to be used for Great Britain specifically. Incidentally, monarchs have only been crowned on the stone of scone (which is underneath St.Edwards throne) since it was brought down from Scotland in 1603 with James I and V1. This was the same James who commissioned the King James version of the bible.

Don’t worry, I would never try to convince a religious extremist. It’s just that as a historian I have a natural reflex to let other readers know the facts. As a follow up you should know that the Celtic tribes who inhabited Britain pre Roman conquest would never have referred to themselves as British anyway. They were very independent tribes such as the Iceni (Boudica’s tribe), Brigantes, Cantii etc etc. The Anglo Saxons who came after the Romans also had 7 different Kingdoms and they were also fiercely independent – and definitely not British. Sorry, I’m going way off subject now. Nice to talk to you though.

For those who like Glenn, but who are nay saying this event, take some sage advice and reserve judgement. Take heed to yourselves, that you be not snared by the cares of this world and caught unawares, as the NT counsels.

Adopting a lackadaisical attitude shows that you may be awake, but you are still too comfortable in bed and under the covers to bother with the commotion outside. This is a mistake.

” Sick and tired of hearing about Israel. He should talk more about the economy.”

If the world erupts into war, you will see that our national economy IS bound up in the state of events in Israel.

What difference will news about the Fed monetizing our debt make, when we are fighting for our survival? Have some perspective. Find a way to lift your sights and begin to see over the horizon.

Or just navel gaze and be caught unawares by the tidal wave of events that will sweep the world IF this geopolitical earthquake of dividing Jerusalem happens.

Some animals sense an earthquake before it happens. Glenn is like that for some reason. But he is also smart enough to know that a worldwide political tsunami will follow on.

IF this is the time, then the words of Jesus are of concern, where he referenced Daniel talking about the Desolation of Jerusalem as a prelude to the destruction of all life on earth; “if those days were not cut short, then no living thing would survive” from Matt 24.

      Be careful Lentz!

Glenn is working through a process of growth and understanding. I think God working with a guy who happens to be a Morman is a brilliant test of the prejudices of those of us who consider ourselves to be His children. He gets to let us see our own reaction. I see a lot of us reacting like Johah did when the people of Ninevah repented and God spared them. Johah did not want to see them granted God’s favor. He wanted judgment and destruction to fall on their heads. Shame on him and shame on us.

What I know is that I recognize God’s hand here, and I am not going to judge things based on outward appearances (vis-a-vis Glenn’s current fellowship) and risk passing judgement on God’s Spirit working through another. What a mistake. Wait and see. The truth of the matter will be seen by most with the perspective of time. I don’t need more time… I know what I see. God has called Glenn to a great work, and so far Glenn is faithfully responding. As long as that remains true, then Glenn will be given more understanding and protection and wisdom. I pray that he has the courage to follow wherever that process leads, no matter how heart breaking those decisions may be in terms of losing friendships and so forth.

Glenn has decided to become an ecuumenical leader, and he is free to do so, but I am not following him in that arena. If I stand/pray for Israel, I will do it with the brethren. Jesus didn’t tell the apostles to invite outsiders to the Upper Room on Pentecost. Only believers were there.

Glenn quotes the Book of Ruth, but Naomi said, “Your God will be MY God.” She didn’t say, “Let’s all just pray to god, whoever he happens to be to you.” The Bible says that the gates of h*ll will not prevail against the CHURCH, not an ecuumenical group. Ecuumenism will be the religious fad when the NWO becomes a reality. In other words, Jesus Christ will be irrelevant. Glenn is doing this out of a good heart, but he is misguided.

Don’t say this is not eminently spiritual, because it is. Glenn’s views and actions are heavily influenced by Bonhoeffer, the Protestant pastor, theologian and ecuumenist, who was hanged for plotting against Hitler and standing for the Jews.

What is this trip to Jerusalem about?

In my mind, after seeing Glenn do battle with the “Masters of the Universe” who want a New World Order where America only plays host to the international “body snatchers”, and after exposing the agenda of those groups within our own borders who are working to destroy the Constitution, and then exposing the Progressives for the unscrupulous control freaks that they are, and then going on to shine a spotlight on the massive movement to resurrect a Muslim Caliphate that has ambitions for world domination…… what could this trip be about?

What does each element above have in common? It is the enslavement of mankind… under one idea or another.

The world is losing it’s mind. It isn’t Glenn that is all crazy. He looks crazy because we reset our normalcy bias too quickly. We keep falling down a cliff. But we dust ourselves off on each ledge we land on. And we call Glenn crazy when he tells us that this ledge will also give way and the next fall will be bigger than the last one.

How many times does he have to be right for us to understand the boy has good instincts?

Can man rule himself? Everyone grasping for power over us answers NO! IMPOSSIBLE! But I now see that God has been communicating since the beginning that we (not just Americans) MUST learn to rule ourselves.

So the message of Human Liberty will once again be announced from Jerusalem, with it‘s offer of hope and it’s admonition of responsibility

I can understand Glenn’s making a stand for his brother Israel. He doesn’t understand why but he does understand that there is a connection between the USA and the State of Israel.
The state of Israel fulfilled prophecy as it was written in Jeremiah 24, when Judah was returned to the land of Israel. Judah is only one of the 12 tribes. Palestine is made up of mostly the house of Ishmael. Genesis 16:12 “and he (ishmael) will be a wild man; and his hand will be against every man, and every mans hand against him…” Does this describe the Ishmael today? Is Ishmael terrorizing every nation in the world?

I applaud Glenn for his rally to get US support behind Israel. The current administration does not care about Israel, they think Middle East peace lies in a form of Middle East socialism, even if it means no more State of Israel. However, remember the State of Israel is prophecy (Jeremiah 24) and I don’t think Mr Obamas Marxist based plans will work out the way he thinks concerning the State of Israel. Our Father states in Jeremiah 24, he planted Judah in the land of Israel and he does not plan on them being plucked up.
As for Mr Obama, he best wise up. He has started using biblical text to deceive US citizens, to frame his case on immigration and other issues. Our Father takes a dim view of those who deceive his children using his word. Mr Obama, I know you have people reading these comments, consider yourself warned by a watchman of the house of Israel.

zeitgeistbuster you brought up the point of the normalcy bias . there is a great book dedicated to this written on the brain and how it percieves musical art forms. i wish i could remember who wrote it. loaned it out and it never came back :( it actually discussed Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring. In it’s premier with P.Monteaux at the podium a riot had broken out. Go figure: Paris.Well much of it was as much to do with the content of the ballet as much as the music itself. ! man who was listening to the musicsaid that he liked it. Then it got violent. the crowd threw him over the mezzanine and on the way don he grabbed a large /full figured(pc for the libs.) lady who then procede to trek thier way down to the ground level killing a couple of rioters and wounding a few others.
just 10 years later in schools this music was being played without any discontent.

now just look at the reaction to Elvis the Pelvis. then we get acid rock, punk, metal, heavy metal, speed metal, grunge, the a resurgence of sprecstemma in rap(only that rap took out what was artistic and left the trash)

what i am trying to say is, with injection of the higher velocity of technological growth our ability to normalize situations has grown as well .

I‘m glad he’s doing this as Glenn has so much to teach Isreal about real courage:

      1. The Jews are some of the most persecuted peoples in the history of the world and many in Isreal still bear the scars of the Holocaust : Way back before Glenn converted to Mormonism, the Mormons were run out of Missouri

      2. Isreal is surrounded by hostiles determined to wipe it off the face of the earth : Glenn is constantly under attack from liberals determined to end his broadcast career.

      3. Isreal has been attacked by Syria, Egypt, the PLO, Hezbollah, and Hamas to name a few : Glenn has been attacked by Cindy McCain, Rachel Maddow, Bill Maher, Chris Matthews, and Lawrence O’Donnell.

      4. Isreal used the Mossad to attack Black September after the ‘72 Olympics : Glenn used his public radio show to attack the wife of one his rivals who had just had a miscarriage.

      I‘m sure Isreal can’t wait!

Glenn has OPENLY said that what opposition he has experienced as a conservative is not comparable to what the proponents of the Civil Rights movement faced, such as fire hoses, dogs, and threats on their lives. So MUCH LESS would he claim a comparison to the victims of the Holocaust.

But how many average Germans lived THE REST OF THEIR LIVES with the guilt and remorse of not having stood up against the dark forces of hate against the Jews stirring in their own country when they had a chance?

Will you be one who joins their shameful ranks if despite this rally the world lynches Israel anyway?

And assuming you are an American or a Brit, or an Auzzie, don’t be so smug as to assume that the blood lust will be satiated with a few million Jews.

Do you not understand the jealousy the world has against these countries for the embarrassment we cause them by our success? If we let down our guard like a bunch of silly doves, the world is full of jealous hawks which will tear us to shreds.

A little concerned about that comment, I couldn’t resist asking him, ‘Do you think I’ll live to be 80?’
He asked, ‘Do you smoke tobacco, or drink beer, wine or hard liquor?
‘Oh no,’ I replied. ‘I’m not doing drugs, either!’
Then he asked, ‘Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?
‘I said, ‘Not much… my former doctor said that all red meat is very unhealthy!’
‘Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, boating, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?’
      ‘No, I don’t,’ I said.
He asked, ‘Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or have a lots of sex?’

Glenn believes we are living in the end times and has stated at least twice that we will see the “ARM OF GOD” in our lifetimes. So it becomes very clear why Glenn wants to insinuate himself in the affairs of Israel in August. Beck seems to be eager to leave his life on earth and float away to what he believes is “HEAVEN” and one can hardly blame him since he cannot enjoy food or drink and his health is failing, at least according to comments he has made over the past several months. Perhaps Glenn feels his trip to Israel in August and his planned circus sideshow will hasten the return of Jesus and the beginning of the end? If true, Glenn is now graduating from a delusional fear-monger to a full-fledged danger to himself and others he is urging to join him on his trip to Israel.

Glenn’s desire for armageddon puts him in the company of other fringe religious crackpots like Mahmoud Amadinejhad and Rev John Hagee. One can only hope that people recognize this and save themselves from being dragged into Glenn’s fantasies as his life continues to swirl out of control.

Who are you? I think Glenn would feel repelled by the messianic undertones in your ode to him. Geez!

==> “But I now see that God has been communicating since the beginning that we (not just Americans) MUST learn to rule ourselves.”

Is that in the Bible, or do you think Glenn said that? God is not a libertarian, you know. He said for us to pray thus: “Thy kingdom come, THY will be done on Earth, as it is in heaven.” God never intended for humans to rule themselves. We must accept God’s rule over us or perish.

==> “So the message of Human Liberty will once again be announced from Jerusalem… ”

Very poetic, but I’m not getting your drift. This is not about “human liberty.” Israel is a free country. Glenn is going to Israel to stand for Israel’s RIGHT TO EXIST. And that move is a direct response to Hussein & Hussein Inc., who want Israel to become ancient history.

And say what you will, this rally is as spiritual in nature as can be.
