The Terrorists Who Got Away: FBI Hunts 9/11 Suspects Still At Large

In the latest round of disclosures from the online site WikiLeaks, the UK Telegraph reports that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is hunting for three Qatari men who allegedly provided “support” to the 9/11 hijackers.

Three weeks before the attacks of Sept. 11, the three suspected terrorists flew from London to New York, where they carried out surveillance at the World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty. The men are also suspected of traveling to Washington to monitor security at the White House, the Pentagon and possibly the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) located in Langley, Va.

Just ten days after arriving in the U.S., the men are believed to have flown to Los Angeles. The FBI has confirmed that their hotel stay and airline tickets were paid for by a “convicted terrorist.“ Hotel staff also reportedly told investigators that they had seen ”pilot type uniforms, several laptops and several cardboard boxes” addressed to Syria, Afghanistan, Jerusalem and Jordan during cleaning visits.

“The men had a smashed cellular phone in the room and a cellular phone attached by wire to a computer. The room also contained pin feed computer paper print outs with headers listing pilot names, airlines, flight numbers, and flight times,” the report said.

They paid for the room in cash and during the last few days of their stay requested that the hotel’s housekeeping staff not clean the room until they checked out.

According to flight manifests, the men were booked on an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., on Sept. 10, but never boarded the flight. The next day, the same Boeing 757 aircraft was used to crash into the Pentagon, the Telegraph reports.

Instead of boarding that flight, the suspects — Meshal Alhajiri, Fahad Abdulla and Ali Alfehaid — boarded a return flight to Qatar with a connecting flight in London. It is at that point investigators reportedly lost their trail.

“It is not known whether the FBI believe that the men were simply assisting the hijackers or were a fifth cell who pulled out at the final moment. Alternatively, they may have been planning an attack on the West Coast of America or even London which was abandoned or went wrong,” the Telegraph notes.

In addition, a fourth suspect — Mohamed Al Mansoori from the United Arab Emirates — allegedly supported the terrorist cell while they were in the U.S. Mansoori has previously lived in Long Beach, Calif., but his current location is also unknown as investigators continue their search for all four men. According to U.S. officials, he “may pose a threat to aviation in the US and abroad.”

The information on the four suspects was sent in a Feb. 11, 2010 classified diplomatic cable sent from the American Embassy in Doha to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, State Department, FBI and CIA, and later obtained by WikiLeaks.

The details of the men’s visit to Los Angeles adds to speculation contained in the 9/11 Commission Report which noted that some of the hijackers had previously visited the area. Investigators believe that the three suspects were aided by Mansoori and that the group visited a number of other locations in California during their stay.

Only one other person has been tried and convicted for being involved in the attacks of 9/11. In 2006, a jury convicted Zacarias Moussaoui to life in prison for his role as the “twentieth hijacker,” having aided the suicide bombers prior to 9/11.

    Well, certainly is an interesting discussion, y’all. Thank you, Malcolm… I like to think I am civil and logical! Like I said, nothing gets my red-white-and-blue blood boiling faster than 9/11 conspiracy theories, and I have watched many films, newsclips, read books etc, and still believe this was not a detonated nuclear or otherwise attack on America by the President, his cronies, or CIA spooks or whatever else. I believe we were attacked by enemies that still want to see us converted to their way of life, or dead. Period. Thank you for your respectful posts… Let’s all enjoy free speech while we still can!

    The FBI? Still haven’t gotten all the 9-11 perps. But they just got Jimmy Carwash and “Meatballs” Locatti in the big New York mob sting. Worked for years on that one. No Russian mobsters…. just the Italians. No muslims yet. I bet the 9-11 perps are drinking pina colatas at Jimmy Buffett’s in Key West. But the FBI just can’t find those pesky Muslims.

      I don’t have all the details, but I remember reading that the gov’t allowed a planeload of Saudi Royal family members to take off and return home shortly after 9/11 – & I think it may have been during the no-fly period.

    Another story never really told was on the day of 9/11 five men reportedly ran off of a plane heading for LA from Newark when the plane went back to the gate. The pilot after hearing what was happening decided not to take off. Upon arriving at the gate again they opened the door to let passengers off and as I said five middle eastern men ran off before being detained. Apparently 1+1=2 these men I would assume were going to use this plane as a bomb as well. These men were never caught, but left their carry on luggage aboard and it was taken by the FBI.

    Flight 77: 5 Saudis. 1 still alive.
    Flight 93: 3 Saudis and 1 Lebanese. 2 still alive.
    Bin Ladin: Saudi.
    Zarqawi: Jordanian.
    The hardest thing to believe is that Glenn Beck, the king of connecting the dots and questioning everything the government spoon feeds us, refuses to even admit that something is awry.

There is no way in heaven or hell our REAL President Bush or any ‘relation’ or insider CIA or anything else blew up any part of the WTC complex to advance any spooky conspiracy, to advance oil or anything else. If I believed any of your theories, I would have been on the first train to Canada or pick a country 10 years ago! Stop advancing these crazy theories. Nobody is listening to them anyway, as people with honour and brains know better.       I do believe that all of our troubles are systemic and our system is part of the problem. For more years than I have been alive(I’m 61) the globalists have been busy setting the stage for what is going on…but it seems like the Islamists are a rather new developement. I can’t see how the illunminati/nazi type of globalism could have possibly recognizeD radical Islam as a global rival. The globalist radicals are being upstaged by the muslims.
      Our government has been full of traitors masquerading as ‘patriots’ for many decades. Google the Bohemian club and take a look at the faces that are present and what they have been doing. It’s rather scary and repulsive.
      Obama was not “elected”, so much as he was “selected”, to do the work of bringing down this once great country. The U.S. is the last domino that needs to fall before the installment of the NWO.

    What really makes me crazy is that I know that we have a dhimmi government that is not serious about fighting this war, and is, in fact, aiding and abetting these Islamic terrorists.

    The Islamic enemy thinks we are stupid and they are using their taquia to keep us placated until they commit their next atrocity time and time again.

    Then when they’ve succeeded in killing us all over again they send their dogs out (CAIR) to demand our political correctness to shut us up all over again. They have the government-media whitewash their horrific killings, like they did with the Fort Hood massacres where their SOA yelled Allahu Akbar as he killed our finest, and then they hush it up as fast as they can. Even before the victims have been mourned and buried.

    And then when something reminds the American people of their mass-murders with impunity, like their insisting on building a victory mosque at Ground Zero where they murdered 3000 Americans, they yell “Islamophobia” and “racist” to shut us up yet again.

    So, let’s review this:

    1. They horrifically kill us.
    2. If we say anything about it they and their “useful idiots” the Progressive-Left yell “Islamophobia” and “racist”.
    3. They send their PR dogs (CAIR) out to smooth over their dastardly deeds and to silence us.
    4. Their “useful idiots” in the government media start running sob stories about the Islamic killers.
    5. We bury our dead.
    6. They work feverishly behind the scenes with OIC to write laws demanding that we not criticize them.
    7. The Islamic world gloats about their victory and dances in the streets.
    8. The government does an investigation and writes up a white-washed report omitting the words Islamist, terrorist, and Allahu Akbar, and anything that would link the mass-murder to the Islamists.
    9. We protest and grieve in silence
    10.We submit and dutifully accept our dhimmitude that they have expertly demanded.
    11.The Islamic terrorists start plotting their next mass murder with impunity.

    The Islamic Supremacists have this down to a tee, don’t they? They must be laughing at us.

    They commit their killings driven by an all-encompassing totalitarian ideology clothed as a “religion” called Islam, which means submit, and condoned by their Constitution the Quran, their Book of Jihad, and somehow that makes what they are doing alright. Because Allah tells them to do it.

    These Islamists have waged war against us. They are killing us. They have killed 270 million non-Muslims in the 14 centuries since the advent of Islam in 722 AD. They are destroying Western Civilization. They are taking away our freedoms, bit by bit, drip by drip. Every country is their Dar el Harb (House of War). Peace to them means killing all of us, or making slaves of us.

    How many ways do we have to say this before you believe it?

    They kill and kill and kill all over again, yell Islamophobia and racist, and demand that we shut up and the government-media agrees with them and submits.

    The Islamists have mastered the technique of getting us to shut up while they are killing us!

    If we were not so p.c it would be a lot easier to track down any radical muslim or commie subversive extremist foreign or domestic.You can’t do nothing that might offend their religious sensibility somehow when i think of them those two words do not come to my mind.This could have all been over if we just had a WW II mentality .Like my pap used to say by gd you may not love me but you will respect me and those words combined with a severe thrashing left an impression.

Do not get complacent or shrug off the danger that we face, for this is a world war against an enemy that has infiltrated all the modern western countries, and is waiting to strike when they see an opportunity.       That wasn’t how I read it, but I could be wrong… Sounded to me like WikiLeaks has only recently obtained and leaked a document that revealed that the FBI has been pursuing these additional suspects for the last ten years, and this is what they’ve learned so far…

      With our inteligence community, that receives hundreds of millions of dollars annually, we as citizens of the USA expect and demand more for our money. It’s the 10th year since the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and ONLY ONE PERSON envolved has been tried, convicted an given a life sentence in prison. Ben-Laden is as free today as he was 10 years ago and this is simple not acceptable. To use one of Obama’s phrases, what we need in our Inteligence and Federal Law Enforcment Agencies is a “fundamental transformation”. Starting at the top, with Obama !
