Viral Hit: 4-Year-Old Chinese Girl Drives Car as Father Coaches Her

An Internet video that appears to show a 4-year-old girl driving a car in China has gone viral, quickly surpassing 300,000 views on Chinese video sharing site Youku.

The little girl was recorded driving for several minutes, without incident, with only gentle guidance from her father, telling her to “Pay attention when passing other cars.”

Sky News:

Her parents apparently allowed her to drive along the road in Jinal, Shandong Province, China, filming her from the back seat of the car.

In the video, posted on YouTube by user wangdazhi712, the child called Jia Zheng by a man in the vehicle believed to be her father, can be seen calmly overtaking other cars.

Watch the video for yourself:

NY Daily News:

The steering wheel does seem to be a bit large for her, but the daring parents fit extensions to the brake and accelerator pedal to allow her to drive the vehicle.

At the end of her joy ride, she steers the car over to the side and gets out of the driver’s seat – and pops a pacifier back into her mouth.

The stunt, while it may be adorable, has many people alarmed. But local official Li Xiaobin told Orange.uk that there wasn’t much they could do – even if they tracked down the family

And here’s a more “raw” version of the video:

I saw a 2-year-old Asian brat use a remote control to change to a station that he wanted. Then, the little rug rat hid the remote on his parents. The dog in that family has a higher IQ than Ed Schulz. Ah, hell, just let these bastards take over the country completely. They will probably do a better job than our dummycraps and rinos.

I just saw a father doing this with his kid in a church parking lot a few days ago They waved hi. I thought about walking up liek a cop and asking if she had her registration and cookie. Driving without a cookie is a serious offense.

I remember my father let us sit on his lap and control the steering wheel while we would go for a drive (do people still do that anymore?). Well, sort of. He more than likely still had control of the wheel. Think he just wanted us to have fun. My mom never objected. This was WAY back when seat belts were optional, no infant seats required and we would climb over the seats to changes places. No, he never had an accident. I’m less shocked that her parents let her drive and more amazed that at 4 years old she seemed to do pretty good.

So? I started driving when I was 6, my son started at 4. Young children learn very well. Not such a bad idea. Shot my first gun when I was 5…. I say good job dad!

Kinda reminds me of our Manchild President. Taking the wheel well before he was ready.(not that he will ever be ready).

Fact is folks, they show more American spirit than our Harvard-educated, nanny-state weasels. This is Bizarro world: “Commies” build power stations as needed and some fool parent has his kid drive…because they can. We moo and moo and moo while fifty percent of our population lines up at the trough or beg for jobs ’cause they have to be passed out by socially approved providers.
God forbid you just start making stuff and sell it!!! Chinese do, stay-in-Mexico Mexicans do.American sheeple just seem to bleat at the trough “Gimmie a job, a nice sit-down, air-conditioned job.”
It’s about time we showed some spirit: apparently the American Revolution will not be televised, just get to it! Pathetic!

Ask any kid raised on a farm or ranch how old they were when they started driving.. of course that is on their own land.. not a highway… you’d be surprised how many learned at a really young age!

I learned to drive a p/u at age 11 in the oilfields of Texas chauffeuring my father around while he checked the wells to see if they were pumping ok.Nothing wrong with that.Took drivers ed the summer I got out of the 8th grade at age 14 and got my license.Nothing wrong with that either.Got my commercial license at age 19.Nothing wrong with that. Was grandfathered into the present day CDL when the government threw that at us.I didn’t see anything wrong with that either. Now at 59 years old with 26+years and 2.5 million miles without an accident(and only one ticket for speeding 70 in a 55 that never went on my driving record)behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler I am beginning to see a lot of things that are not right.DOT,NAFTA,FMCSA,NTSB,EPA,crooked brokers, ins.companies, taxes, taxes, and more taxes, and high fuel cost.I quit, give up,let the trucks from Mexico come haul all the freight that is what the Government wants anyway.

    Anybody wanna buy a truck?

think about this poor lil girl and how she must feel about govt. policies. The chinese govt. only allows one child and usually insists that girls are aborted……..they must have missed this one…….so they put her in a car hoping that will take care of it.

But if I might make a suggestion, when you sit down in yer favorite booth at the local choke and puke and see a government obstruction coming yer way, please stick out yer leg, trip ‘em, then stomp the crap out of ‘em! It’s worth it, I promise you! And keep yer truck! You’ll need it in the days to come!

Obviously fake. You never see what she is sitting on, and she is NOT that tall. Who is working the pedals? she looks a LOT shorter in the seat when the camera shows her waiting for dad to get back in when parked. Notice how far BACK the seat is when the car is parked, and AFTER dead gets out of the back, but BEFORE he gets into the front. She would need the seat ALL the way forward, not far back.
Conveniently, we never see the ENTIRE wheel, and I suspect someone was reaching around her left to hold the wheel.

The only surprise here is that the news channel fell for it. You wanna impress me? Have the reporter in the front seat video taping, not a family member…

“Here. We made this tape, and we swear it’s real. No, you can’t see her drive for yourself, just trust us and this tape.”
