The Viral Bully Body-Slam Video Every Teased Kid’s Been Waiting For

When you watch this video (probably multiple times), you might celebrate that a little street justice was served. But then when you hear what has allegedly happened to the victim, that celebration could be short-lived.

There’s a video whizzing around the internet that purportedly shows a bully in Australia getting a piece of his own medicine. In it, a tiny tormentor is seen picking on a much larger, yet calmer boy in an outdoor hallway. After repeatedly being taunted and even hit, the “calm” victim finally snaps, picks up the skinny bully, and body slams him on the pavement:

[Content Warning: may contain graphic language]

Someone claiming to know the kid wrote to the website Gawker to explain what happened after:

“The larger kid on the right [being bullied], is my son’s friend Casey – thankfully they don’t go to the same school. Poor Casey has been bullied his whole high school life, and this is what happens when he snaps!! But guess who was suspended in this scenario – Casey!!

It’s unclear if the bully faced any repercussions, too.

UPDATE:

Thy Sydney Morning-Herald says both boys have been suspended, not just Casey. It also says the small bully suffered a broken ankle as a result of the incident.

UPDATE II:

The Herald has updated its story and no longer lists the one boy as having a broken leg. Another site quotes a school official as saying the bully only suffered a “grazed knee.”

      You are right.
And it won’t be the short skinny kid, but the tall skinny kid and 4-5 of his pencil neck buddies.
Casey had better watch his back because bullies like that can only attack your back, never face to face or one on one.
The skinny one tried, and found out that was a stupid move. The little dead heads learned from that one.
And what was really stupid of the tall skinny kid. He still had his back pack on. Now THAT was stupid if you are going to get in someone’s face that you just watched body slam your buddy.

I found it interesting that the girl stepped between Casey and the second boy. I have a feeling that the second boy was the real bad guy here; that he put the scrawny kid up to attacking Casey. But the girl was the only person in the situation who recognized what had just happened. If Casey was willing to take care of the scrawny kid that violently, how vicious would he be to a larger kid who was an actual threat? If backpack kid has a brain in his head, he should stay away from Casey. He doesn’t start fights, but he’ll finish them if he has to.

    >> But guess who was suspended in this scenario – Casey!!

    EXACTLY.
One of the reasons bullies feel so confident about bullying is that teachers tend to look the other way when a bully pulls their crap, but will come out and punish the bullied if they dare to fight back. I think the reason behind this is that bullies are a pain-in-the-a** while the bullied tend to be more laid back, cool, and collected. It’s easier to resolve a situation by punishing a compliant bullied kid than to deal with some out-of-control hotheaded bully. As we all know, teachers are lazy and are interested in doing what will make their life easier.

It’s interesting to see what Australian teachers are at the same level as American ones in that regard.

Yeah, I’ve seen this. Teachers will only ‘enforce their will’ on the pliant students. The bullies don’t care and will happily intimidate the teachers as well.
Strange how society at all levels behaves the same way.

I got picked on and bullied all through high school for my last name and being a little chunky. I always let it happen and always wimped out of fights.

One day in 11th grade I looked around and saw the tops of their heads. I was suddenly 6′2″ and a solid 185 lbs after a summer of hard work. I got picked on one more time and drilled a guy so hard I broke his ribs. Never again; and by Christmas I had his girlfriend on my arm.

Reading many of the stories on the Blaze informs us of the reality of the world. Reading the comments shows that many just get madder and madder as the truth scares us. I learned that a stupid comment has the ability to lessen the anger somewhat. Growing up doesn’t involve losing your sense of humor. I‘m not as smart as most of you but I’m trying to learn. I am believing in the evil and murder in our black hearts. We need to see a lot more people get run over by a damned old train. Hooray for the fat kid. I was gentle as a youth and took a lot of crap by a lot of sons of bit.hes. I would let creeps push me around and never understood what was there problen. This one particular bully had pushed me around for a long time and one day he put his discarded peanut shells in my shirt pocket. For some strange reason I took that as an insult to my person. Well it all ended there. I killed him right there in the lunch room line. Just kidding. I did get all in his face and literally destroyed him with words. Hell the words scared me. That’s all this is. Why are you bringing up this brain damage stuff when it doesn’t apply. You make it sound like this kid shouldn’t have gotten his butt whipped. Well, if that is your position you’re are completely wrong. People have the God given right to defend themselves. And in this case the School Administrators who suspending the victim can go to hell for punishing someone who was exercising his God given rights of protecting himself. Seeing someone do good for himself is worth cheering over. The victim in this video is worth cheering for.

@Hermann – You’ve got it bassackwards (ergo you might just be a progressive).

Although it is plainly visible in the video, you missed the obvious evidence in the video that the twerp was already brain-damaged before the fight started (or else he would have known better than to pick on a kid 2-3 times his size).

What makes this video so moving was the way the twerp approached Casey to beg for his help. He obviously figured Casey for a brain surgeon who could help him. I was moved when Casey – with infinite and loving care, used the reversed flying Hind-end-burg maneuver with delicate precision to knock the missing sense back into the twerp’s head.

It may be too early to tell, but the prognosis looks good that the operation was a success. We’ll keep the twerp under observation but we won’t know for sure until the twerp graduates high school. If he never picks on anyone else again, then he will owe Casey a debt that can never be repaid for the successful operation.

Thank goodness someone thought to film it so that many others may learn by watching. I learned a lot from watching Casey’s technique and will incorporate it into my own practice for curing progressives who desperately need it. Most of them aren’t smart enough to ask for help the way the twerp did, but I take it as a subconscious plea for help whenever I see progressive trolls posting here.

When I was in school the littlest guy in the class thought he could bully everyone else … he came home with a black eye one day and his grandma said serves him right .. he would go up to the big guys and say “you wanta fight” ..someone took him up on it .. lesson took a while to sink in .. I remember he got his head split open by another kid and had to be taken from school for stiches. It isn’t always the bigger kid who is the bully as this video shows.

Speaking from experience: Most cases, the reason the bully doesn‘t get expelled is because he’s got stupid, enabling, loud-mouthed parents who are quite certain their little sweetheart would never do any such thing and will threaten to sue the school if they threaten their child’s education. The kid being bullied has parents who respect the rules and expect their child to follow them. Teachers and administrators tend to be way too easily intimidated by threats of a lawsuit, but also tend to resort toy intimidation themselves against those who will buckle.

That doesn‘t explain why they’ed behave this way when there is a video though. If I were the administrator at this school I’d have reamed that cocky little twerp until there were tears running down his face, even if I had to go the hospital to do it.

I saw a “little quiet guy” get bullied and harassed by a body-builder type. As I watched I learned a valuable lesson.
The big guy cornered this tiny, scrawny kid and left him no way out, even told the kid he was gonna kill hi,.I saw the fight or flight of terror on the kid’s face, and was about to step in when the scrawny kid’s eyes rolled back, and he went feral on the bully.
Jumped up and wrapped himself around the guys chest and started tarring the bully, trying to gouge his eyes out, prolly thinking “kill or be killed”.
Bully went to the hospital and the cops never charged the small kid. Lots of witness testimony.

      Lesson learned?
Never EVER corner someone…always let them have the “flight” option open or you may get killed.

When you are being attacked, you have every right to defend yourself. And yes it is called a fight and someone is going to get hurt. It is called self defense.

That sounds about right(even though it isn’t right). It always seems like schools never punish the ones who started it, instead they punish the kids getting picked on who actually fight back. That’s just wrong. Believe me, I know all about that because I had it happen to me in school several times and they never did anything to the bullies.

I was bullied when I was a kid by another kid that was such a trouble maker that the principal had made a deal with him that everyday that he did not get in trouble she would buy him an ice cream. I never did anything about it cause I was more afraid of the a$$ whipping my dad would of given me for getting in trouble at school. One day after being bullied and spit on after school my mom could tell I was upset. She asked me what happened and I told her. She then told me the next time that kid messed with me I had her permission to punch him in the face. I went to school the next day with a purpose. I didn‘t start the fight but I sure didn’t avoid it either. My bully tried to knee me in by business and I hit him as hard as I could right in his nose. Then I ran home like I had just robbed a bank. The next day they called me into the office and called my dad in too. The kid that had bullied me had a severely broken nose and they wanted to suspend me for four days. My dad was furious with the principal and told her that everyday I was suspended he was going to take me to Disney Land. I have never prayed so hard for a suspension. The principal ended up backing down and my dad agreed to one day of after school detention. In class I was a hero (even to the teacher), and the funniest part was that my bully not only never bothered me again, but was really nice to me from then on. I don’t have kids now, but when I do you better believe that they will be hearing this story and getting the same permission should they find themselves getting bullied.

Seriously, folks – why are you defending the *****-whipped phrase: “violence is never the answer”?

That’s exactly the environment that bullies exploit to pick on kids – if they get hit backed, they whine to the principal and get the bullied kid suspended. Happened to me. I got into a fight with 7 kids picking on me in elementary school, so the principal gave me 7 times the punishment. Happened to Casey here.

Guess what? That bully struck first, and therefore lost his protection from violence. That’s the way it works in the real world, that’s how it should work in schools.

      Suspending Casey is a disgrace.

Let bullies and showoffs beware, especially if the guy being bullied is twice your size. Three cheers for Casey. He simply defended himself after being hit in the face and body several times. It’s a shame the bully was hurt, but, he got what he was asking for after hitting and taunting Casey. I hope this video will inspire other bullied kids to defend themselves when attacked and taunted by others.

Punish the victim and let the perpetrator have a free pass. Unfortunately that’s the society we live in today. If I was Casey‘s dad I’d sue the school officials for dereliction of their dutes after failing to make the school a safe place for all students and for descrimination against Casey. The school administration should be immediately fired for in competence and stupidity.

I love the comments by the bully butt backwards, anti-violence, bully sympathizers that suggest that are worried about the little scrawny kid having possibly gotten seriously injured. This is called cause/effect. The bully would not be the one who made the choice to get seriously injured. The BULLY made that choice to take that risk. The libel, in my mind, would fall on the little scrawny twerp.

Its like poking a stick at a dog, the dog biting you, tearing up flesh and putting the dog to sleep because it dared to bite a child. No, the dog did what it needed to do to protect himself. The little boy should not have been poking the stick at the dog. The boy would have never been bitten. DUH.

I think MORE kids should be taught to body slam bullies. We’d have a lot less bullies. Perhaps that is why more kids NOW adays end up so screwed up. Nobody is allowed to adequately correct their bad behavior by providing them with a memorable consequence.

My son is a black belt and regional and state champion in sparring in organized events. His teachers always thought he was being dishonest to them about his abilities because he also took the bullying and never responded. He would just walk away or disarm the situation by talking to the bully. On day a new kid in school decided that he “wanted everyone to fear him” (this is the quote after the fact from the bully). My son is only slightly larger then average but this kid decided that my son would be where his rein was going to start. The school would not give us a copy of the video but in a nut shell he jumped my son from the back and proceeded to hit him several times in the back of the head and back. After several times my son would push him off and try to talk to him and walk away he had had enough. One punch from my son to the carotid artery later and it was over. The boy was out cold. Just as I had told him don’t be a bully but if you have to fight end it as quick as possible, there is no need to beat on someone. The school tried to suspend both kids but after the police, my sons sensi, and our lawyer saw the video it was decided that my son had done all he could to avoid a confrontation and in the end did only what was needed to stop the attack. It was also discovered that the bully had been kicked out of 3 schools over the last 3 years in the state they had lived in previously for this same behavior. This happened last year and my son is the same calm kid he has always been but no one bullies him at all any more. The point here is that a bully must be put in his place sooner or later (it is best sooner). When this happens the kid being bullied needs the understanding of the adults. If kids are allowed to balance this themselves things like school shootings may be able to be avoided. Forcing these kids to keep it all pent up inside is where explosions like that start.

Took one hit to the face, but walked away, and the 2 kids Let me walk away, had they kept after me, I would’ve had no choice but to fight, and we All would’ve gotten hurt.

I have a 2nd degree blackbelt and wrestled through college. This big kid took a punch to the face, and then had to defend 2 more head shots. No reasonable person should think that kid should just have to stand there and take punches to the face, especially in front of multiple other kids!

If I were the principal, I wouldn’t suspend the bully. In today’s society his folks would probably feel sorry for him and make it a fun suspension. I’d give him 30 days (six weeks) of detention and tell his folks that if he doesn‘t show up to school the next day he’s expelled (a good natural consequence is facing your classmates after you get laid out by the kid you’ve tormented.) I’d then “suspend” the bullied kid on the next Friday and Monday (so he gets an extra long weekend), make sure he didn’t suffer academically in any way, tell his folks to make it a fun suspension, then buy a few beers for his old man.

This was my younger brother. A kid had been verbally harassing him all year. Toward the end of the year, he was saying foul things about our mother, and breaking my brother’s pencils and ripping his books. Finally after one particularly foul remark, he broke my brother’s pencil and slapped him. That day he was not feeling well, and was on his last nerve. He punched the kid so hard they took him to the hospital to see if his jaw was broken. Fortunately it was not, he just had a nasty bone bruise.

We teach our kids they can say anything they want, but don’t teach them there can be serious consequences.

I think the kids egging this on also need some consequences.

Wellllll….That is how you show peace will come thru strength. Bet little man does not hit others anytime soon? Bet big boy has peace for the remainder of school?

This was planned by the bullying kids. They had a camera rolling and even a bigger kid to make sure that the big kid didn’t get more than one shot at the twerp bully.
I for one would have had not an ounce of compassion for the twerp bully had his neck been broken.
Government schools do absolutely nothing about this type of organized behavior in fact in many cases they encourage this type of anti-social behavior.
I have been told by school administrators that its just kids being kids and that this helps them to learn how to deal with society.
Had I done to that administrator what had been done to my kid I would have been in jail.
Why is it that so many people think our kids should have to endure violence when no adult thinks they themselves should have to.
This administrator was from the Jefferson County School district in Colorado. Yes that’s the Columbine district and yes this was after the shootings and after we were forced to sign a “zero tolerance for bullying” contract to get our kids in school.
Our kids deserve a violence free place to learn and no level of violence should ever be tolerated.
These bullies should be in reform school or jail.
The parents of the bullies should be sued and made to pay for the cretins they are forcing the rest of us to deal with.

Same thing happened to my son. Principal said they couldn’t keep an eye on all the kids all the time.
I told my son infront of principal that he had right to defend himself & principal that if they couldn’t/wouldn’t maintain a safe school they would be in court for child endangerment. Next time, son waited til teach not looking & took out the threat. We never heard a word, & son had no more problems with this or other bullies. A carp gets eaten; a dolphin is generally peacefut, but will kill a shark if need be…

I think a broken ankle would have been justice. The bully got exactly what he had coming to him. No tears from me.

too bad our commie public schools would suspend kids who fight back. My son was suspended for pushing back. We took him to a ball game to celebrate that day.

My son was bullied once repeatedly in 7th grade. He had been taking martial arts since he was 8. We went through the normal channels at school to try and remedy the situation; but absolutely nothing was resolved. It was then that we talked and I gave him my full support to fight back…under one condition; I told him that if he does, “you better knock him to the ground”. The very next day, the same kid pushed him during a basketball game outside. My son turned around and put him into the ground. That kid never bothered him again. The school tried to discipline my son and asked to write a letter of apology to the other kid. I went into the Principal’s office and I told him that the letter would not be forthcoming. I told him that my son acted with my full support and he the Principal would have done his job in the first place…my son’s actions would not have been necessary. However, my son and I both know…it would have come to that sooner or later anyway. The lesson my son learned is; no matter what, if you acquiesce to an agressor…it just makes them more aggressive. It is as simple as that.

The victim is seen to attack his tormenter and is then acused of being a bully. Yep, that’s how it usually goes. Look at the NFL. Who gets the flag, the guy who punches first? Or Second? I hope the little punk can’t CRAWL for about three weeks.
