TheBlaze TV announced today that it will be adding another show to its primetime lineup. The new news and talk show, which will be named at a later date, features national SiriusXM radio host Andrew Wilkow and will debut later this summer.
The news was first reported by Buzzfeed on Tuesday morning.
“Glenn Beck and the team at TheBlaze are creating an incredible new network from the ground up,” Wilkow said in a press release. “I’m thrilled to bring my own voice into the mix, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Wilkow will continue to host his program on SiriusXM in addition to the new show.
TheBlaze TV, formerly GBTV, already features 35 hours of original programing a week and will soon offer 24/7 video content.

A NEWS, TALK SHOW HOSTED BY ANDREW WILKOW, SIRIUSXM NATIONAL RADIO PERSONALITY
Wilkow Joins TheBlaze’s Growing Line-Up Which Will Now Contain Over 35 Hours of Original Programming Per Week Including Primetime Comedy and Reality Shows, A News Show and Glenn Beck’s Daily Program
Wilkow Hailed as a “Young Gun…with the Potential to be as big as a…Stern.” (The Hollywood Reporter)
(New York, NY July 17th) TheBlaze, an online TV network featuring news, information, and entertainment programs, today unveiled a new program for its primetime line-up – an hour long news, talk show hosted by SiriusXM National radio personality Andrew Wilkow who is frequently hailed as one of the true up and coming conservative voices. The show debuts later this summer and its name will be revealed at a later date. Wilkow will also continue to host SiriusXM’s The Wilkow Majority, which airs from 12:00 – 3:00 pm ET on SiriusXM Patriot.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Wilkow is one of talk radio’s “young guns…with the potential to be as big as a…Stern” and Mark Levin called Wilkow the “next generation of great talk radio.”
Andrew Wilkow joins TheBlaze’s growing line-up of original programming which already includes 3 hours of primetime shows like the comedy news show The B.S. of A, the reality show Independence USA and other programming throughout the day led by Glenn’s show, the news show Real News and the kid’s show Liberty TreeHouse. The network airs over 35 hours of original programming per week and will soon provide video content on a 24/7 basis.
Joel Cheatwood, President/Chief Content Officer of TheBlaze said: “TheBlaze is building a primetime line-up filled with both established talent and the voices of the future. Andrew Wilkow’s strong independence and ‘no sacred cows’ approach to the news, issues and events of the day are perfect fits for TheBlaze as we continue to expand our programming.”
Wilkow said: ”Glenn Beck and the team at TheBlaze are creating an incredible new network from the ground up. I’m thrilled to bring my own voice into the mix, and I can’t wait to get started.”
In addition to his radio show, Wilkow has been a featured guest panelist on Real News on TheBlaze since its launch this past January. Andrew has also been a regular guest on CNN and the Fox News Channel.
About TheBlaze
As previously announced, Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s multi-media production company, is merging GBTV, its streaming video network with TheBlaze, its news and information website to create a single multiplatform media company. The new entity, which will be known as TheBlaze, combines one of the world’s largest subscription streaming video networks with a website that generates over 7 million unique visitors per month into one powerful multimedia brand. TheBlaze, which will soon offer video content on a 24/7 basis, will be a news, information, entertainment, and e-commerce network, spanning all media including video, radio, publishing, and the Internet. TheBlaze will be fully integrated with The Marketplace by Markdown.com, a curated marketplace platform to help local small businesses reach consumers across the country. TheBlaze also includes a monthly magazine and news updates delivered each morning on Glenn’s radio show.

Posted on July 17, 2012 at 4:24pmThe news was first reported by Buzzfeed on Tuesday morning. Ok Jonathan you can stop pretending that the blaze and GB TV are somehow not related and this isn’t rather cheap advertising and a revenue maximizing strategy off the same group of consumers.

Posted on July 18, 2012 at 7:52amI love TheBlaze/GBTV but their video player is horribly clunky. It does not remember your video settings audio setting, or size and location of the player window. It is just terrible. Sometimes I don’t even bother watching because the interface is so lame.
Their streaming client is the worst I have ever used. Whoever wrote it should be ashamed.

Posted on July 18, 2012 at 7:15amSo you like Bill O’Reily AND Greg Gutfeld….Strange.
They seem like polar opposities. Bill is completely a republican party partisan and Greg is more of an independent. I used to watch Bill’s show, but when i became more independent/libertarian i couldnt stomach it anymore

Posted on July 17, 2012 at 11:28amI’m about to throw a stinkbomb into the mix… I listened to Wilkow for years, but have had to stop tuning in as of late. He’s becoming too much like Hannity for my tastes. He brags about himself too often and when talking to callers, cuts them off to give an anecdote (that is usually never interesting) about himself. He also never used to be a shill for the AM-type radio advertisments that we all know are a bunch of swill anyway. I can remember him saying he would never shill for his supper. Well, he is now (I understand he needs to make money just like the rest of us, but in my mind he has lowered himself by doing so). I hope his GBTV show is successful for him, but I just cannot stomach watching or listening to him anymore. Guess I‘ll just keep watching O’Reilly and screaming at the t.v.

Posted on July 17, 2012 at 11:04amAndrew Wilkow is human garbage. He runs out of original ideas
in five minutes so he resorts to insulting women based on
appearance:
Secretary Napolitano is Silverback.
Govenor Granholm is Fugly
Secretary Clinton is Gelatanous Space Hog in a Pant Suit
First Lady Obama is Rupaul
Immature BS which will entertain but not enlighten. Bad hire

As you can see from my moniker I am a big fan. This might just be enough for me to tune into GBTV. We are right they are wrong end of the story. Congrats and aren’t you glad that you had all those “poeple” working to make you sucessful, I am thinking mostly of your days as a DJ in the stripclub. God thing there was a road outside.

Posted on July 17, 2012 at 10:42amHow to win the youth vote. If the Democrats legalize these for road use they will have the youth, Republicans need to act now and show they truly beleive in freedom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMVjCL3u-l0&feature=relmfu They are safer than walking and are capable of decent fuel mileage. People own the roads and should be allowed to drive something that can keep up with traffic… If you are not for the legalization of these, you are a nanny-state progressive…Don’t let theDemocrats win the youth…Glenn please do a VLOG riding one of these…People who ride their motorcycles to work to save gas are trying to find away to ride when the roads get a little icy.

Posted on July 17, 2012 at 12:58pmI agree. Time to be unapologetic and speak our truth. WE can all learn but first we have to agree on the premise: It does no one any good to make a robot out of them; to make them dependent (just so we can have their vote).
We should move to the “if you don’t work, you don’t eat” there are millions of things that need to be done daily in every town, city and state of the USA …. no more free lunch. Obama’s premise falls apart when one looks at it logically: IF the Government built the infra-structure which permitted some of us to gain wealth and those some were the ONLY tax payers who funded the government…then……
It’s not rocket science for those seeking the truth. Obama live in the la-la land that thinks the government is some ‘master’… he’s nothing more than an inept Marxist and we need to get him out of office.
