‘There’s Sexual Assault Going On’: Protester Details Deaf Man‘s Alleged ’Rape’ at OWS

On Saturday, we noted the latest claim of sexual assault coming from the Occupy encampment in NYC (one of many reports coming out of the various Occupy encampments across the country). Now, according to claims made in a new video, we may be able to add one more to the growing list.

In a video posted on YouTube yesterday, a woman identified as an Occupy Wall St. protester in New York claimed that a deaf man was “raped” and that the incident might not have been reported to police. She also noted the rampant drug use making things unsafe.

“We’re trying to figure out what to do about [the drugs],” the girl begins in the video, and later hints that she’s part of the community affairs committee. “It’s putting all these people in danger–that, there’s sexual assault going on, we’re trying to deal with that … mostly drunk guys, going, groping girls, there was a guy that got raped, too, here–a deaf younger man.”

After the girl notes that there’s actually a place in the park for people to sleep under the watchful eye of others, the man interviewing her circles back around to the alleged rape:

Man: Did the guy, I mean, do these, did that get reported to the police, or did that stay inside the camp?

Girl: Well, OK, I’m not sure for that particular incident. Yeah, no I–that might have stayed inside the camp.

Later, she also recalls seeing a girl crying while saying that some guys tried to take advantage of her while sleeping.

Still, the alleged protester casts blame on the police, saying that they haven’t been responsive to some reports of abuse, including a woman getting punched in the face. However, she said that the organizers to encourage people to go to the police with claims of abuse.

The report is the latest allegation of sexual assault to come out of the Occupy movement. Earlier this month, police were investigating after a 19-year-old woman attending an Occupy Cleveland rally said she was raped in her tent. Days later, police were investigating the possible sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl at Occupy Dallas.

Occupy Baltimore recently revised its sexual assault reporting guidelines after distributing pamphlets that discouraged victims from coming forward to the police. The pamphlets instructed victims of assault to report incidents to the “Security Team” which would “supply the abuser with counseling resources.”

look who you are standing with lady. I’m sad to know the innocent being abused, however it does show the world (because the world is watching) the truth. Arab spring showed the truth, look what happened to women there. I would like to save these ppl from the horrors. As I have said time and time again these past few years “only God can help you”. The TEA party supporters have demonstrated how to behave while protesting, take note.

  You know what makes me sick is there is no real news. It is a drive by media in the sense of a “oh on a short note rapes are in occupy wall st” {commerical} Yet there is all the sudden an anonymous tip that 15 years ago Herman Cain sexually harassed 2 women. Now neither are ok if true. But why so much on Herman Cain yet NOTHING NOTHING on the rapes going on. All these news media’s are ran by the machine Fox included and it is so sad. I only see one person on Fox news trying to bring to light truely what OWS truely is and that is Billy O’reily. Other then that they just plug in there ear piece and read the words written in front of them. It reminds me of Sodam and Gomorrah you better get out now before the Lord strikes it down. Glenn Beck understand the wisdom in getting out of there God will not stand for this and you can get ignorant or have some wisdom and move before it is to late.

You reap what you sow. However, the people who brought this little love nest together should have had the forethought that some shady characters would come into the mix. Liberals have no concept of “the bigger picture”; they live in the moment and when a situation arises not in their play book, they don’t have enough sense to report the crime to police. In their book, the police are the enemy. Dr Phil calls these people as ” a sense of entitlement, they want it and they want it now.” They never want to work towards a goal.

Perhaps, they should disband their overnight situation and come back each morning and leave just before dark. Maybe they should call this a bust and go home. Their protest is useless anyway and they are just the laughing stock of true Americans.

Also in the late 50′s, Tom Hayden had an idea about a group called Students for A Democratic Society
In the 60′s Bill Ayers, Jeff Jones, Marc Rudd, Bernadine Dohrn tried to perfect that organization.
During this time, hundreds of SDS members either went to Castro’s Cuba, Mao’s China, Ho Chi Mien’s North Viet Nam or some of the most pretigeous universities in the world. ( all trips were purely cultural. Unfortunately, a large amount of Marxist, Communist and Socialist culture returned with them. Now we suffer the consequences of a Politically Correct atmosphere that was the intended outcome. Google all the names.

A vast majority of the SDS culture has been adopted by the current PROTESTERS.
In the 60′s it was war.
In 2011, its money.

  Problem IS that where they went is to the nations colleges and universities. FROM THERE THEY BEGAN TO EDUCATE BOTH THE EDUCATORS, AND THE FUTURE LAWYERS, AND THOSE IN GOVERNMENT!!! This is what we got for it!!
  Having lived through those days, I’d say, the adults who were in charge were a little too quick to listen to and feel sorry for the poor disadvantaged kids, or smiled and let them have their fun, thinking they’d grow up some day. The OWS movement is in need of flashlights so that when a woman is raped they have the proper tools to use to discourage this type of behavior because calling the police will just add to the police industrial complex. The purpose of the flashlights is to shine the light in the eyes of the rapist to see his soul and yell “pervert” at them before they can get him counseling. This method of treatment has been studied extensively and it had been proven to work on all of the mannequins that it was tested on in controlled laboratory settings. No mannequins have had any problems after the treatment. Disclaimer: No mannequins were harmed during this testing but we did loose one squirrel, well just the tail of the squirrel ok sorry we lost the entire squirrel.
