These Are Obama‘s ’Top 10′ Insults Against Britain

On the heels of Obama flubbing a toast to the queen (and talking over the British national anthem), it seems only appropriate to bring you what one British reporter has dubbed Obama’s “top 10” insults against Britain.
Meredith first posted the list on the blog yesterday, but it’s worth some real estate on the story side, too.
The Telegraph’s Nile Gardiner compiled the list, something he’s done in the past. But, he says, since then a lot has happened.
“In honour [British spelling] of President Obama’s state visit to Britain this week, here’s an updated and revised list, as a reminder to readers of the president’s less than stellar track record when it comes to US-British relations,” he writes. “The US president will no doubt be careful not to offend his hosts when he travels to London, and he will receive a warm welcome from the Queen and the Prime Minister, as any American president would. But the prospect of an embarrassing diplomatic gaffe or insensitive remark cannot be ruled out from a world leader whose administration has all too often specialised [British spelling] in them.”
It‘s important to note that Gardiner’s piece was written before the now-infamous toast and the Westminster Abbey guest-book signing. So that he would say “the prospect of an embarrassing diplomatic gaffe or insensitive remark cannot be ruled out” is not only prophetic but also sad — sad that it would seem so easy to predict.

4. Supporting a federal Europe and undercutting British sovereignty
5. Betraying Britain to appease Moscow over the New START Treaty

8. DVDs for the Prime Minister
9. Insulting words from the State Department
10. Undermining British influence in NATO
After Obama’s current trip is over, the list might need to be updated again.

He has been very gracious in his acknowledgement of American support for Israel, he always has valid, indisputable facts to back up his position, he isn’t arrogant or hateful, and he doesn’t stumble along in his speech. I was very impressed with his speech to Congress, and feel ashamed for how he and his country have been treated. I also noticed how much he knows about American history and our monuments. I bet 95% of Americans don’t know what he knows. I was happy to see how our Congress responded to him, and I hope America continues to support our ally. I sincerely hope that the people of both countries realize that he does not represent the feelings of most Americans for their countries. I also hope that he is out of office before he does irreparable damage. When I first watched his toast debacle I did notice that the Queen gave him a look of pure contempt and disgust. I think that she has a very low opinion of him as an individual.

Posted on May 25, 2011 at 10:29amwhere are the handlers in cases like this? i always have contended that the prez gets into trouble when he speaks off the cuff. there is i.q. and then there’s e.q., the ability to read people and empathize. i don’t think he can because of his self-centeredness which is reenforced by the overprotective stage parents (main stream media). perhaps the queen knew the waters he was getting into and had her revenge for, among other things, the churchill bust being boxed up and sent back. that event still horrifies me. what kind of person does that? think about it.

Then to run off to Kiss the Ring of Queen Elizabeth so that she can protect his scrawny ass but screws up the International Protocols set down by these state visits, which tells me that they threw this together on the run, otherwise every step is scripted to the second! To Commit so many gaffes, shows me that Obama is running from something, and Bibi is the only other Show in Town!

We defend ourselves”. Although Bibi uses “Defend” I took it to mean, Don’t even think about sending Troops to Israel! As there have been some reports about Obama pushing for a UN Resolution to invade Israel and Disarm her under a UN Mandate! Bibi must have told the Great Obama, “Just who do you think you are messing with? Punk!”
Thus why the Great Obama is hiding out in Ireland and England until Bibi leaves & takes his Mossad home with him!

In Portuguese, The Guardian adds, the word refers to the Cherokee people. Scotland Yard claims its codewords are randomly generated by a computer, but the Sunday Times isn’t convinced by that argument. Even if the name is randomly selected, the paper asks, why stick with a provocative result? Especially when Scotland Yard gives Michelle and Malia Obama cool names like Renaissance and Radiance, respectively.
