Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who is serving a seven-year prison sentence for alleged fraud, claimed last week she had endured beatings and began a hunger strike in protest of her treatment, which officials have denied. Today, photographic evidence of her bruises and wounds have been posted on Facebook.
Business Insider explains the photos were uploaded by Ukrainian journalist Vitaly Portnikov, who claims he received them form a “diplomatic source.”

On Thursday, Germany’s top human rights official Markus Loening urged Ukrainian authorities to ensure that Tymoshenko, 51, gets proper treatment for her back condition.
German doctors who examined her say she is in severe and constant pain caused by a herniated disk and needs urgent treatment in a specialized medical clinic.
Ukrainian authorities long insisted that Tymoshenko’s health was satisfactory and that she can be treated inside the prison. But they finally bowed to Western pressure and announced earlier this month she can be treated at a hospital in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv where her prison is located.
Business Insider reported Tymoshenko resisted begin taken for treatment because she didn’t trust the hospital doctors. With the hunger strike, her family is reported by the Associated Press as saying they fear she will be force fed. Her hunger strike began last week.

She claims that guards punched her in the stomach and twisted her arms and legs while taking her to a hospital against her will to be treated for debilitating back pain.
Tymoshenko appears pallid and worn-out in photos of her lying in prison taken by Ukraine’s top human rights official – a shadow of the glamorous figure who faced crowds in haute-couture gowns and golden braids. The pictures by Nina Karpachova show blotches on Tymoshenko’s abdomen, lower arm and abdomen.

Her daughter told The Associated Press that her health was failing rapidly.
“After the attack, she was in intense pain,” Eugenia Tymoshenko said in a telephone interview. “She is very weak, she hasn’t eaten for seven days, only drinking water. Prison officials threaten that they will force-feed her.”
Tymoshenko is serving a seven-year prison sentence on charges of abusing her powers in a Russian energy deal. The West has strongly condemned the verdict as politically motivated and threatened to freeze cooperation with Ukraine.

Oleksandr Tymoshenko, the jailed opposition leader’s husband, told the AP in the Czech capital of Prague – where he has been granted asylum – that he believes the Ukrainian government is slowly killing his wife.
“Everything that has been happening to Yulia Tymoshenko is a rehearsal of her physical destruction – a murder that the authorities have been planning to carry out since the beginning of repression against her.”
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Posted on April 28, 2012 at 5:22amIt’s not Putin and the KGB, it’s the idiot EU that fears her the most. Read up on her and what she spearheaded, you’ll see why the goons of the EU fear her. Not saying she’s absolutely innocent of any wrongdoings, but seriously, the biggest criminal element in Europe are the former Socialists running the EU. They make Liberalism appear to be conservative by U.S. standards!
And Sarkozy is about to lose to one of them. As soon as that happens, the EU is toast.

Posted on April 27, 2012 at 7:51pm…satanic rituals in Chernokozovo…
Well, since Chernokozovo translated as Black Goats’…
Either someone made up a “good” story, or the guards though: “Eh, Black Goat, let’s make satanic rituals here!’
Not sure which one to pick.
KGB is no longer in existence, it was disbanded with the fall of USSR in 1991. Each of the former USSR countries has it’s own state security orgs, except Byelarus sill keeps the initials for its state security. Not sure what Ukraina has, in Russia, it’s FSB and for foreign intel/espionage/mayhem it’s SVR.

BTW, the Kavkaz-Tsentr is a Chechen rebel org, so I’d consider whatever they publicize wth two buckets of salt handy. I tend to think they made it up from the whole cloth. Not that there aren’t really bad prisons in Russia, sure they are.
As for Julia Tymoshenko, I consider the report credible. I don’t think they (current administration) want to kill her, that would be creating a martyr. They just want to break her spirit, to dissuade her from the political theater when her sentence is over.

Obama’s second term – no SS, no Senate, no Congress or no Supreme Court! Only Obama knows what we need. Believe me the ones that will be around are not going to like their life! Just ask anyone that lived under a brutal dictator – if you can find them!

Kavkaz-Tsentr reports:
More reports about mass atrocities and sadistic torture in the Russian concentration camp of Chernokozovo are being received. Prisoners, having miraculously escaped from the concentration camp, report things no ordinary human brain can imagine. The guards, having lost all human nature, are committing satanic ritual murders of the prisoners. Ibragim Vakhayev from Urus-Martan, an eye-witness to the bestial crimes of the Kremlin regime, reports that raping of victims tortured to death is a common and regular practice in Chernokozovo.
The rape of the corpses is practiced in full view of other prisoners. The guards wear black masks. After these acts of necrophilia the guards announce to the prisoners who the next victim is going to be.
Ibragim Vakhayev confirms that he witnessed the murder of a 10-year- old boy whose name hid doesn’t know. The corpse was raped by five guards with black masks, cut to pieces afterwards and put into a plastic sack. The Prosecutor general of the ChRI has made it known that special inquiries about the mass atrocities in the concentration camp of Chernokozovo are made.

Posted on April 27, 2012 at 3:20pmHopefully they don’t rape her. The KGB are deprived, sadistic killers. And yet mr. despot in Rome D.C. wants to ‘deal’ with the Russians if reelected. IF! He won’t. Praise God. Maybe Romney will deal with Ukraine later down the road. We got to fix our country FIRST…screw Europe.
